The best restaurants serving Fast food food in England

Over cooked dry fish and Luke warm soggy chips. When cutting the fish the batter just shattered. Was out of cabinet not cooked to order. Worse fish n chips I’ve had in ages, waste of £17

We were so, so relieved to find the Hook fish and chip shop was open on a Monday evening in August! The removers finished moving us in and left at 8.30pm. We phoned in our order before picking it up. We had such a lovely welcome from Jimmy, excellent fish and superb chips. There were so many chips we had enough for 'oven chips' the next day - when they were still delicious. Not greasy, great taste. We have tried all the other local chip shops and now we only go to the Hook fish n chip shop. It's by far our favourite.

It is bang average The workers are sometimes good but most of the time if you say no cheese they still put it on so you have to tell them again When I come here half the time they don’t have something that you want on your sub and when I went last time it was somehow lettuce and the onions which is quite hard to understand Overall it is decent but the main improvement they need is having all the options there instead of missing some because they have ran out of

It's new name is Chicken hub. At the same address and at the same place next to Old Dutch pancake is Chicken Hub not Chicken cottage. On google, you can see exact pictures with hundreds of reviews. It was surprisingly good. Only place in London where i went again as experience was good. Grilledchicken with rice was very good and i will recommend. Service was great as well. Second time i found few burnt rice in it. Probably they have to work on the quality.

I think the place must have been taken over, just recently (within the last few months) the place has changed. When we order they ALWAYS miss something. The atmosphere when you go in has changed, the lovely display boards on the counter have gone (nothing to do with covid) it has just gone downhill. This used to be ran by a young couple, always happy to talk and help, the phone service was great too but they must have gone!

Great enjoyable food. Served hot. Good portions sizes. Great staff who are friendly and helpful.. Very welcoming and great all round. Highly recommend.

You can't go wrong with a Greg's sausage roll but we won't be sitting down in there again. Very dirty tables, sticky floors & food rubbish everywhere. We'll go to the one inside The Pentagon Centre next time.

A group of us needed somewhere to meet before the match and this proved perfect. Not only is it what looks a really good takeaway restaurant it served as a bar early in the evening which was perfect. They serve a fairly limited range of drinks, but at reasonable prices and the beer was well kept. The place is adorned with United memorabilia and the staff are absolutely fabulous. Just a five minute walk if that to the ground as well.

Absolutely amazing food. Best Kebabs in town by far. Would recommend the Kofte kebabs and mix grills. Will be coming again and definitely recommend anyone in the area to try out Khyber. You will not be disappointed.

We ordered fish and chips on line for 6.15pm pick up - went to pick up, socially distancing in queue and on time collected - absolutely lovely ! Made a good evening excellent! Thank you!

Travelled from Aberdeenshire in Scotland. Warm welcome & food was great! Recommend the fish & chips and the steak & kidney pie!

Disappointed with the customer service. Told the staff member to fill up my mithai box with gulab jamun and to avoid the barfi. Didn't listen and filled it up with barfi anyway. Looked like the most boring box of mithai all black and white. Not nice to gift someone. It felt very rushed, felt like he packed the box in minutes and just wanted to get on with the next order, because it was busy. Wasn't a nice experience. They need to work on customer service and communication and how to keep their customers happy by listening to what the customer wants and not doing what they want to do.

Went into Galloway's in eccleston just before 1pm lunch time to get some pies , pasty and cakes for lunch with my daughter. When ordered told no cheese and onion pastry left . I asked could I wait that's no problem as I don't like anything else . Told very abbrutely my a man who I am later told is the manager No !!!! When I questioned this as only lunch time ? Surely at some point would be some available. Told again abruptly with his arms waving everywhere I just told you no ! No more that's it . Manager embarrassed me in front of a qué full of customers and his staff who I think was embarrassed 😳 by his behaviour. Turning business away from 1 pm makes no sense at all and talking to customers like that when asking a reasonable question about why not available for rest of the day is terrible customer service!! Tried to complain to shop gave head office telephone number . Awaiting a call back

Lightly battered fish lover? Ask for fish without.... Blinding Old traditional chippy. Ohhhh and that fruity curry Top drawer
