Khyber Takeaway in Ribble Valley

We ordered a takeout for all of us at a caravan park. Was amazing . All food labelled up and tasted amazing was warm and delivered.

First time we have had a takeaway from here. Really authentic Indian home style curries . These are the real deal. We had the Garlic Chilly (sic) Chicken, Keema Karahi, a garlic naan and a tandoori roti together with popadums (fried) and chutney. The curries are not overly spiced and they come with fresh green chillies sprinkled on the top that allow you to spice them up to tour taste. They also do pizza, burgers, kebabs and various sundries and box meals. You can order and pay on line (a bit of a faff until you are registered but then it works a treat. You also get loyalty points for discounts on future orders.

Really good food and quick service. Guys always happy to help and food is always ready to pick up on time.

Please note there has been a price increase since the menu we had delivered, on average £2,00 increase per curry. I would expect new menus' to be delivered with current prices.

Always a brilliant service, fast delivery, pipping hot.. Chicken and donnermeat kebab, enough for 2 of us to share, chips and tub of garlic.. Keep up the good work

Had pizza kebabs and curry and nowhere in Clitheroe touches it bloody brill awesome food cos I'm so fussy but you got it right curry tasting of spices not hot chilli no taste spot on.kebabs full of chicken amazing pizza ace ..Good service polite friendly. But the food is ace .

They have got greedy and take on orders that they can not meet, Wait until a delivery car is full and then send food can often arrives wrong or missing items, Delivery can take over 2 hours - ridiculous ! They have increased there prices 3 times this year alone - maybe have some more staff with the extra profit made.

I don't mind a delivery being delayed, things happen and sometimes it gets busy but I don't like being lied to. One hour after ordering we were told it was a busy period and the delivery was leaving now. The same thing was repeated to us 30 minutes later. After nearly 2 hours we were then told the order still hadn't left. Such a shame as the food is great but no way will we be ordering from Khyber again.

Terrible. Starters deep fried and boiling on the outside but freezing in the middle and refused to apologise or replace

Ordered 3 lamb shish kebabs between the staff at our work place in Waddington. The meat was succulent, the bread it was wrapped in was warm and soft, the salad was fresh and crunchy and there was just the right amount of garlic sauce... mmm The service was also prompt and friendly, we ordered the food for 11.30pm and it arrived on time. I don’t know why the previous reviews are so poor, me and my work colleagues order food from Kyber often after work and we are always really happy. This kebab was fantastic though.

Ordered food on their own app and nothing arrived after 80 minutes so cancelled and funny enough food arrived 15 minutes later. Send him packing. Not exactly fast food!!!

Thought I would treat myself to Khyber's "special kebab - chicken, shish and donner mix". It's not cheap at £7.50 but you get what you pay for............... It was the worst kebab I have ever eaten. The naan bread was very dry and chewy, garlic sauce was gloopy and didn't taste of garlic. But my main gripe was that the kebab was packed full of very bland donner meat, with about 4 tiny bits of dry chicken and a few bits of shish "meat" that was strangely mushy in texture and tasted rank. If I had wanted a mainly donner kebab, that is what I would have ordered. There's plenty of other places to eat - just don't waste your money here.

Sorry to say this but the worst Chicken Korma I have ever had, the sauce was very watery and the taste was non descript. However my husband had the lamb Madras and said it was delicious! Portions also quite small compared to other takeaways.

Step to enter through stiff door, no grab handle. Level inside, clean varied menu at cheaper than average prices, good food. Street parking.
