not even chips were prepared nor fish or sausages. service was horrible and the workers were rude and borderline miserable. food was greasy and the roof had holes in it. NOT sanitary.

Absolutely delicious Fish Chips and Peas, asked for small chips, Peas and Large Fish, Wow!! Enough to feed the 5 thousand!! Easily feed two people with that amount, Wife had smsll fish with free chips!! Again could have fed two, place was very busy, not surprised with the quality and amount of food they get, if you are in the area, visit, its a must, you won't regret it for sure.....

The location was easy to find, the place was tidy and service was quick and easy. But the donor i had was charred to oblivion.

Absolutely the best place in Hereford. Huge portions, hot and very tasty food. I will come back many times for sure. Very friendly staff as well.

AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID If I could give 0 I would! The kebab for 1 over an hour and 30 mins when you call the restaurant they are aggressive and threatening! The driver came to the door and told me they have no clue what they are doing in the restaurant and agreed the service is terrible! The food was cold I had to put it in the microwave. I was eating my food and then someone called me on a mobile number from the restaurant threatening tone asking me what was wrong with my food. I had the worst experience ordering it and the worst experience eating it! They in the end put the phone down as they don’t like to be wrong! First time trying from here, staff were so friendly and polite. We had two large kebabs, portions were great and tasted fresh too. Will definitely be coming back👍🏻

Fish chips cooked while you wait so always fresh

I’ve never in my life ordered a takeaway, and had to chuck the whole thing away after a few bites. It was the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had. Please don’t waste your money! £35 for reheated, stale & tastes less food. Hard, dry fish. Samosas were like mush, really soggy. The battered sausage was full of gristle and the batter around it was stale. I’m scared I’m going to get ill. Never again!

Charlies plaice used to be my go to chippie After a visit November 2nd I decided to review the mini fish and chips I bought. The chips were passable, the fish was a few small chunks covered in loads of poor batter, the mushy peas were quite cold. I am sorry to say that after being a customer there since 1980 I won't be going back there.

Foods good but smarmy and terrible service that sucks.

Decided to have a burger before our drive home. Walked round Shugborough Hall all day. Wimpy was the perfect retro treat on a perfect day out. Proper took me back to my childhood trips to Cannock Chase with my Aunt and Uncle. Food was served piping hot and tasted great, so much better that Mc D's, even better that BK. So glad this is still here!
