Had chicken and chips and curry sauce was amazing and the gentleman that served me was lovely too will definitely be eating here again :)

avoid. scammers. you receive wrong food. paid for extras which not received. very rude person on the phone. food tastes vile. raw chips. they should be closed down. don't order

This, in my opinion, is the best chipshop in Wolverhampton. The couple offer a wonderful service with super tasty food. The halloumi is so satisfying being vegetarian and wanting more than chips or a cheap veggie burger. The chips are always perfect.

Smallest portion of chips I've had in recent memory though they werent inedible. The curry sauce was as runny as tapwater.

Haven't had chips for years as can't have battered ones, but none battered none greasy chips, absolutely amazing, s effo recommend, no time to take a picture sorry I ate the too quick!!

Pond lane goes back a long time its a family run business the owners are always keen on making you happy great range of foods always fresh just ask how you like your food to be prepared definitely worth while

Charge £5 for large cod would definitely recommend always cooked fresh

Wonderful food with a pleasant ambiance. The proprietors are charming and make you feel welcome. It really was a pleasurable experience and one I hope to repeat in the near future.

We used to use this chippy regularly, but this last year their standards have slipped. They are still a friendly couple who run it, but the quality of the food comparative to other local chippies is poor. The chips nowadays are tough and leathery and they have a distinct 'old oil' taste. It isn't a one off as we've visited half a dozen times and 2019 is the year they must have decided to buy cheap potatoes and other offerings and/or re-fry yesterdays unsold food. Pricewise they are actually dearer than their competitors too. My advice to to try other chippies in the area as they are cheaper and fresher, sorry Pond Lane Chippy but we won't be visiting you again anytime in the near future.
