Meat & Eat in Wolverhampton

Food was poor spent £30 which was cold , service was good but apart from that pretty dead .

I tried meat & eat after watching their videos on social media place is very tight and small but their food is amazing we ordered almost every thing on menu meat tray, lamb chops, crazy nachos and loaded fries everything cooked to perfection i really loved the food my favourite was double trouble mix loaded fries lamb chops were realy tasty and flavoursome & perfectly cooked staff was very friendly great atmosphere meat & eat is the place you can go again & again it is in my favourite list had a great time really enjoyed the food and the evening.

Fab brisket and loaded fries. Well worth a visit if you’re in Wolverhampton!!! Thanks guys

First time trying Brisket, was amazing. Bit of a wait to get seated as went on a Fri but worth it. Ribs also were cooked good but brisket was better. Fairly priced for what you get plus good service too

Not bad, brisket was plain but tender, needs a little flavour in my opinion! The food was served just warm! Again, should be served hot! Service was good, friendly and efficient. The restaurant itself is very small, so expect to wait for a table!

Food is excellent. Got their £30 meat tray. Was incredibly filling. Meat was the most tender I have ever eaten. Mac&cheese was really good too. Sauce on wings and fries also well done. Definitely worth it. Great Halal restaurant.

The service was on point and the food what do I say was 10/10. Travelled from Bradford to try out the bad boy brisket and to my surprise was not disappointed. Deffo worth going to.

We booked a table for Friday because After a Long Trip from Germany for the OP tournament in wolverhampton we needet some food and it was Perfect the ppl who work there are super Friendly and the food was really good. We booked for 8 ppl the food was on time for every Person on the table so we could eat together in the big group. I can only say if we are back in wolverhampton we will come back to the Boys of the Meat & Eat Restaurant 10/10 :)

This place is cramped, food takes an hour to come out, service is horrible, guy tried to charge us extra on our way out. Don’t think it’s worth the money you pay for. If they didn’t demand a £20 deposit to save our table, I would’ve walked out after half an hour. Food was nice though so there’s that.

Polite & friendly staff/customer service very good. The food wasn't bad but not amazing in all honesty. Lamb chops and ribs were probably the best thing we tried. Restaurant quite small and tight. Price seemed fair. Overall experience not too bad - 6/10.

The owner is arrogant and rude to the staff. Plus the food is completely overpriced, you’re literally paying for a tray full of carbs and very little meat.

Travelled 100 miles for this so it explains why it’s worth coming here.

After seeing this place & their food on social media, I really wanted to try it. Easy to find & Park in the evening. Tall ginger-ish guy with beard working at the front, customer service is questionable, speaking manners are very ghetto and street - not impressed and needs training up. Spoke like a road man when taking our order, which comes across as very unprofessional. Customer service should have been better overall; staff stood at the till drinking and chatting away - not a great look for any business. Twice, I had to get up and go to the till to request basic items as there was no one paying attention - really disappointed with this side of things. Food overall was good, flavoursome. Again, criticism here is that it came mildly warm and not pipping hot, which was the expectation. The crazy fries - the cheese wasn't even melted and just sat on top of the chips. Brisket is very plain in taste. I'd rate it a 7 out of 10.. food needs to come much warmer, and customer service needs improving on massively. Expected so much better.

Very delicious meals, I ordered brisket hamburger and it was perfect (the bun, the meat and sous all were professionally prepared). Their food is considered Halal one. The staff were friendly and nice, the place was not overcrowded, and they respected the safety measures. There is no free parking slots, however you still can park in the metered parking slots. They newly started to accept card payment Overall, this restaurant is recommended

Went today as I was in the area, the Brisket was soft and delicious, the Mr Smokey burger was one of the best burgers I’ve had and the mac and cheese/ coleslaw was equally delicious. Staff were very attentive and ensured all my questions were answered. I wish wish wish we had one in London (please open one). 5* definitely recommend.

Got the No Bull Burger Tray. Came with a generous portion of brisket, Mac n Cheese, 2 wings and chips. Mac n Cheese was so tasty! The wings were a delicious barbecue flavour, not too sweet, perfectly seasoned. Brisket; oh man talk about meat sweats! Really good brisket. Friendly staff.

Been wanting to try this place for ages. Went an hour after opening and luckily it wasn’t busy. Went with the Tray 3 I think it was called, brisket, chips, mixed veg and peppercorn sauce. Brisket was tender and juicy however i expected it to be seasoned but it was plain. I had to pair every bite with the peppercorn sauce. Veg was decent, chips were nice. Good customer service. I do recommend it.

The food was absolutely delicious and freshly cooked. Hope someday there would be opinions to mix and match the set trays. I would highly recommend this a place to try at least once, as the prices were a bit steep for a regular eating.

Brisket was so bland and dry - not even the sauce that came with it helped. I couldn’t finish it. So disappointed and not worth the hype at all.

10/10 can't fault these guys at all was recommended the Palestine box 🇵🇸, the lamps chops were seasoned beautifully aswell as the brisket and was very flavoursome soft and juicy 💯

We came to this place last night traveled from a long way although we phoned up and said we will be here at this time the manager said that’s fine and was told to leave from the manager when we arrived which does not have any respect towards customers please avoid !!!!!!

I recently traveled 1.5 hours to visit this exceptional steak place, and it was undoubtedly worth every mile. The quality of their meat is outstanding, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable. Hidden gem, brisket was cooked to perfection

I live in Birmingham and have tried most steak places and I will say this is top tier. The smoothie I recommend. The smoked chicken and the sirloin steak was to perfection and the mac and cheese.

6 years ago I wrote this: Halfway through my meal, i had to be reminded i was eating out in Wolverhampton. The food was amazing, very well cooked and awesome taste. This is just what Wolverhampton needed - gourmet burgers and steaks. Very good value for food and friendly local faces. Must try 'Double or Nothing' Burger. Today: this place has come on leaps and bounds, brisket was NEXT LEVEL. The only way I can describe it is you know when u put a spoon through a cake and it just comes apart, the brisket was the same literally just tears apart on contact lovely and tender. Love the lads running this place. Allah bless

Great little place absolutely bursting with quality meats and flavour!!! The guys serving were polite and attentive even though we were a big family group. Lovely place, should get more attention but I like that they are doing the limited menu but doing it well!!

The food was delicious. The meat was perfect, and normally, I do not like mac and cheese, which comes as a side, but here was really tasty and different from what I had tried before. The service was warm and friendly, and even though it was busy, we got seated quickly. It was also a very reasonable price.

Ordered from uber. Still no food after 1hr 20min called the restaurant multiple times was told food was out for delivery but nothing after 20min. I had to cancel the order as I didn't want to wait any longer.

Meal was amazing. Burger had 2 smashed beef patties that were chunky enough. I went with turkey beef for extra. Don't usually like vegetarian but the mac and cheese was really good, filling and cheesy as it should be. I was full by the time I got to fries, but they are unique: chicken/cheese/sauce, definitely worth a go. Would recommend, and will be visiting again when I'm back near Wolverhampton 🫡

I would highly recommend trying them out, they have the most humble, down to earth owners (3 brothers) who take care of their business with care and attention, also giving to charitable causes. These are the type of local business that we should be supporting 💯

Seen on Instagram so got excited. Made a trip. Menu tiny. Told to call before visiting to see what's available on the day. Grimey floor, tables and toilets. Food is decent but expensive. £30 tray is ok but not worth the price. Lamb chops cheap and good. Beef rib was pricey but very tasty. Wouldn't visit again.

I treated my family for a dinner at meat & eat last night. Very tasty food and portions are generous. Whole family liked the food. We had beef brisket, smoked chicken and burger trays all very tasty. Restaurant was very clean and the staff is very friendly.

Food presentation, taste, and quantity was really good. The portions were perfectly sized. Service was fast. Staff polite (Made us feel welcome) and amazingly seasoned. Simple not too confusing menu at all, just needs to be bigger font size. Pulled brisket Fries were good and presented really well but cooled down too quickly. 5/10 Lamb Chops were juicily thick and fatty. 9/10 Hickory smoked whole chicken really good, not dry, juicy and moist. 9/10

I had a lovely experience at Meat and Eat. The steak was delicious as was the Hot Wings, and loaded fries. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful when ordering. They forgot one of my sides and the lamb chops lacked depth/flavouring (perhaps consider a spicy version?). Definitely recommend a visit.

Finally a decent halal place in Wolverhampton! This was a gem of a find which I stumbled on after a tiktok recommendation, and is honestly the best burger and fries we've ever had. The burger trays are also amazing and mac n cheese is yum. Loaded fries are AMAZING. Burgers amazing too and so soft. This place is on my regular rotation for dining out/take out. Brought family here yday, prob our 4th visit and they loved it too. Great staff as well, well done to the team hopefully you can expand more.

This was actually some of the best meat I’ve ever had in my life. I’m not from Wolverhampton, I actually hate it, The only reason I’d ever come back is to eat here again. It’s quite a gem actually. Although I didn’t like their replacement coke option, I think Tesco value cola tastes better.
