Lister Road Fish Bar in North Warwickshire

The location was easy to find, the place was tidy and service was quick and easy. But the donor i had was charred to oblivion.

Best chippy in the area, staff are so nice and food is fab.

Placed an order for delivery while camping at Etties Field (excellent camp site by the way) unfortunately, one part of the order was missing so I notified the delivery app. Imagine my surprise when 10 mins later, I got a call from the owner, apologising for the mistake and telling me he was at the entrance gates with my missing item. Absolutely fantastic service and the food was delicious too!!! Big thanks 😊

First and foremost the service is Excellent, young lady, not sure of her name but she has a hint of blue in her hair, is always happy and polite, any business would benefit from her as an employee. Food is very good, it's worth travelling from the other side of town for it, similar prices to competitors. The premises are clean and well presented, and some parking outside is available too.

I order from Lister road frequently and I can safely say that I have never had a bad meal from them, the delivery is always on time or early, the portions are very generous and the food is amazing 👌 amazing food at a fair price and very good service, what more could you want!

What a useless child like run chippy honestly do not go there

Fish was tasteless smelly and greasy chips were overcooked greasy and had no flavour because no salt or vinegar despite asking for it and as for the curry sauce it was like lumpy piss water I won’t be ordering from here again as it has made me feel ill 😡

Always love the food here and the staff are so friendly. I like that they cook fresh to order, still good value for money and great service.

Me and my friend ordered a Donna meat with chips,we asked for salad and we also asked for extra salt and vinegar with the chips ,on the Donna meat we also asked for salad , we got home and opened the order , the chips where dry and had no salt or vinegar on them the Donna meat was also dry and had no salad on it at all !!! We also asked for sauces in separate containers which we did get but my friend asked for mint yogurt and they gave her garlic mayo which she is allergic to !! This is disgusting and disappointing considering I used to go to This place a lot !!!

What's happened to lister road chip shop .not as nice as it was couldn't eat much as taste is very diffent . Oil also needs changing

Really disappointing. Ordered a kebab wrap, dripping with grease, the wrap was wet through with it and the plate I put it onto had a pool of grease turning into lard. I called to say it was inedible, the girl said to bring it back and I said I don't really want to as everyone else's dinner is here and that will be cold. She put me into Bradley who spoke to me as if I was lying. He said. " The kebab is a bit greasy?" No it's not just greasy it's dripping and the wrap is wet like it's been dipped in oil. His response, "well have you had one from here before is it more greasy than usual?" Yes, it's dropping in it. His response, " well I don't know how, it's the same kebab meat and its cooked the same way so it can't be any different" I said I'm not going to stand here and argue the toss with you, I'm looking at it I can't send you photos if you like. He then went on to say his name was ....... ....... and I could find him on facebook, i could send the photographs to him on there. My other half just said save the hassle I'll take it back down. Had to take it on the plate because if the pool of grease on there. Quality of customer service clearly matches the quality of the food. Other half was treated with more respect on arrival back at the shop and the kebab was replaced with one that was properly cooked.(surprising as he is burley looking biker!) Boss was clearly not there and staff not caring about his business in his absence. Really poor. This was always the best chippy. We won't be spending our money there again. Apologies to the gaffer, but I think your staff need supervision.

Used to use this chippy quite often. Recently it has gone downhill. Long wait for dry fish and unappetising chips... probably won't use again now. Will try somewhere else.

Had a large fish, mixed kebab and chips to share plenty of food for 4 of us couldn't believe it. Staff are always so friendly. Love coming here

Foods OK but feel like it's not as nice as it was when I last visited, a couple of years ago.

Cod was amazing! Chips were great not oily and generous portions. The donner kebab looked so delicious I will be popping in again.

Came on a standard Monday night. Waited over 20 minutes for a fish cake and chips. Nothing pre made. Staff just stood smirking when we asked how much longer. Second time this has happened.

Was hardly any salad and the salad that came was not fresh picture below ! Meat was cold and disgusting Pitta was soggy Disgusting food ! Never again Thank god just eat refunded me

Woken up at 3am puking up the cheesy chips and fish I had eaten , now have tonsilitis, never buying from here again !!

Placed a order via phone, ordered arrived now chicken and mushroom pie, phoned up said they would send one out, pie arrived was freezing cold, caught the driver said she would be back in two minutes, twenty minutes later no pie, phoned shop said not sending another one out as pie was 40 degrees, pie was stone cold, no sorry from person on the phone, customer service doesn’t exist, will never be going to this chip shop again

Ridiculously small fish masquerading as full size cod. Shop didn’t want to know when queried. Would have been better off with a fish finger…

The staff are polite on the phone, I have had food where stuff is missing, gravy lids not put on right so when it gets to you it's all in the paper and the bag ,so I feel they do need to make sure the lids on and that they check the order is all there before sending it out.

Been working around the corner, had food from here a few time and food aways been good...seen some regular faces too so that a plus👌🏾

When this shop 1st opened the fish and chips were fantastic .but I've been twice in the last couple of months and it's no way as good now and for a example the chips were hard and bland donner meat cold .And the fish is half the size but still cost the same . Lets hope it doesn't slip anymore.

You can generally count on the fish being good - but anything else is hit and miss re quality - also are pretty much done and cleaned up from 8pm - so limited availability of menu after then

We use this fishbar at least 2 or 3 times per month and have always enjoyed our meal.

Been here many times hahaa helps only living just round the corner from the place each time the food is spot on and on this visit it was no different I went for the Mixed Donor & Chicken meat with Battered Chips and it was delicious as always and the portion you get is always decent and to be honest I love me food but I struggled to eat it all hahaaEvery time I go in I'm usually served by either of the brothers who own this place and this time it was the main man Giorgio anyone who knows this guy knows what a sound guy he is always makes you feel welcome and makes sure your happy with your food no matter what which is top service in my opinion the other staff who work there are very good at what they do aswell and each time I've been in there u get the same level of service from each staff member and the quality of the food is always brilliant If your after a decent Chippy then look no further ...Enjoy

Without a doubt, the best fish and chips in Atherstone. Friendly staff, spotlessly clean shop and fantastic chips. The large cod is huge! Been using since they opened...never disappointed...try it for yourself 🐟🍟

A little bit out of town but make the journey and you will not be disappointed. The fish and chips are the best we've had in the Midlands and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Most of the food is cooked to order so please be patient but it's well worth it. 10/10.

Just wanted a little warm snack, so ordered the cheese n onion thingy (never sure what it's called) with small chips, very generous portion of chips, might be an idea to do mini portions for the lighter eaters

Hemos usado un montón bar Carretera Lister Pescado de veces que son locales, y honestamente puedo decir que nunca he tenido una mala comida desde aquí. El pescado es siempre fresco y el bateador crujientes. Patatas fritas son preciosas y limpias de grasa. En Carne y patatas fritas de kebabs mixtos es muy agradable y tiene un montón de carne, y la comida de los niños tienen un montón de ellos. No es caro y yo diría que es probablemente el mejor "fish and chips" en Atherstone.

Been here a few times now and the food never let's u down .allways hot freindly services vaule for money.

called in while working in the area last week and the shop was nice and clean , the young girl who served me was very nice and polite . And the mini fish chips and mushy peas were very nice in deed , hope to call again soon
