Staff very nice. Coffee very weak😞

New review as very disappointed, first of all the app wouldn't let me find this store so I couldn't order properly, managed to order inside and when food came i made the mistake of not looking in the bag and trusting this mcdonald's staff to get it right, got home 3 miles away and 1 item a double cheeseburger was missing this was for my boy so he didn't get a burger only chips, called to complain and they wouldn't even give us anything extra for their mess up other than offer a free drink which is normally coloured water tbh, I think I will end my visits to bassets pole mcdonald's from now on, my advice carry on to a different store.

Best fresh products any McDonalds has ever served to me. Hot, crunchy and perfectly cooked. Plus a nice lady cleared our table as we finished. Great restaurant.

High frustrated with this store 3rd time we've ordered this year and the third time items have been missing. We tried to order in the app and it didn't work. We tried scanning the code it wouldn't give us out points items so we had to pay extra for them highly annoying. So we get home ready to eat out meals to find both lots of chicken nuggets are missing from our £5.00 meals but they remember to put the sauce in whats the point it we've got no sauce. It highly frustrating that you can't just trust them to get your order right. Please pay close attention to your orders

Had three £5 meals and they were good although fries a bit sparse

It's OK, just pick your times as it can become very busy and overcrowded, but the floor staff are friendly, funny and helpful.

Just been to collect breakfast for my grand children , after asking at every opportunity "will the maple syrup be included" guess what , no maple syrup 😡, oh and no bacon on the cheese and bacon flat bread😡.

Not a bad Maccies at all, probably my favourite.

We visited your site at approx 930am today. Ordered 3 porridge and a flat bread. Waited in car for 15 mins to be given cold food. After complaining the manageress was so rude, threw the porridge in the bin and offered no other food . I left with a refund and no oppology ..

It looks and smells like a run down place and even when you complain no action is taken

Not too busy today,quick service, friendly staff

Service yesterday 12th Feb was well below point, service standard excepted, visit was at 18.00, went to drive through lane 1, waited for 2 minutes, no communication!, van pulled up in lane 2, order taken straight away ! When I got to pay point I asked server why they took the van order first? Response “we have other things to do !!” Go to collection point told to park up and wait so I did, asked for a receipt and was told”we’ll bring it with your order” which was fair enough, after 15 minutes still waiting for food ! All other orders after me served and gone ! 20 minutes still no food, food runner was outside so called her over, she went back inside and came back with order, no receipt! Asked for no pickle, pickle present, burger, fries and nuggets cold !! There was a delivery being taken in throughout my visit so I assume DM was tied up !! Not good, waste of money and no receipt! Poor attitude!

My go to McD. The place to go. When it's busy, it's insanely busy, but usually it's alright. Friendly staff. Good food.

McDonalds at the roundabout. All as expected and very pleasant servers. But they've given their car park to unregulated private parking scammers who can only make money out of PCNs so beware!

Drive thru has no menu, so useless when you want to choose something to eat. Milkshakes are awful - tasteless and impossible to drink through the cardboard straws that collapse instantly. Awful. Burgers have gotten thinner and worse too.

An extremely helpful, not young, lovely lady was able to make the fundamentally useless McDonalds app to work. Full respect to the lady whose name, unfortunately I did not grab. The McD premises itself lived up to the corporate requirement and the food was ‘as usual’ and just a little overpriced, also as usual. Black coffee is very drinkable imo.

Probably the best McDonald's near Birmingham. Staff are good, food is pretty much consistently up to scratch and it's a nice place to park up, surrounded by forest. Better than the more typically depressing surroundings of most Midlands McD's...

Kudos to your wonderful team, especially the lovely cleaner. (Sadly I didn’t get her name, but she’s an Asian lady with little bows in her hair). As well as making everywhere absolutely spotless, she went around to each table wishing them a Happy New Year and hoped that they have a lovely evening. She’s truly a credit to your team and made myself and my partner feel very welcome.

The slowest maccy D's I have ever been to, based on several visits. The Harvester next door is probably quicker ☹️

I ordered a big order for my 5 kids, Hannah the person who served me on the drive through she was very welcoming even with my big order. She also corrected my order when they gave me the wrong milkshake. Would definitely come again because of her lovely welcoming demeanour.

Just a brilliant McDonalds. Food always piping hot, and good energy - all the staff members always friendly and in a good mood. Thank you 5 month later update - still such a great place, standards so high and just a great experience every time. Thanks

Very hit & miss regarding service & food, most of the time it's good. Staff can sometimes be lazy.

It all depends on what staff are working on the time of your visit, and eat in, always eat in.....

Chips (fries) were cold and soft, like chips you might find in a bin on a cold day. Did not like attitude of girl taking order.

After negotiating the screens, charity requests and upselling we got our food around 20 mins after walking in. God it looked like someone had sat on my breakfast muffin. Coffee 100 degs centigrade, food dripping in oil, probably the most disgusting excuse for food I’ve ever seen.

Used the drive-thru one evening. Annoyingly, there were no McFlurries being served as the machine was getting cleaned or something. Why would you only have one ice cream machine?! It was the main reason for my visit so this was very disappointing. The male staff member was very professional and friendly over the tannoy, probably the nicest McDonald’s employee we had ever encountered! We ordered fries; these tasted hot and fresh but weren’t seasoned enough therefore lacked flavour. My husband enjoyed his strawberry lemonade, which seemed a better portion compared with other McDonald’s we’d been to. Would return another time, if the McFlurry machine is working!

It's a McDonalds so it is what it is. However, it's always clean and tidy and service usually quite quick. Drive thru is good and well run. Halloween decorations are now up, with plenty of spiders!

The people who work here have terrible English I couldn't understand a word they were saying at the speaker, went to window asked for bbq sauce they didn't understand me, couldn't do a large drink with breakfast as it comes with a medium even though I have upgraded my drink at every mcdonalds forever, I get that we're a multi cultural country but I shouldn't have to learn Punjabi to get what I want from the drive through. Poor atleast put people who can speak to a reasonable standard in the customer facing roles

An App confusion led to very rude attitude from the serving manager at the collection window. Technology can fail at any time, to be told 'you get what you pay for' is bang out of order. How was I to know the points I had used for an additional double cheeseburger had not gone through in the time frame of placing my order, paying at window 1 and collecting at window 2? The burgers I did get were like they had been sat on. This all happened on 06/10/24. Very poor service, managers should know better.

Really clean restaurant, all our food was hot and tasted good. Friendly staff. Great place for a midway stop for us on a long journey.

Called on way back from airport, typical McDonald's shake machine was being cleaned.

Stopped here for breakfast. Decided to order via the app and have the food brought to the car. Service was really slow. Ordered 2 coffes and 2 sausage mcmuffins, and they took around 15 mins to arrive which considering this place is meant to be "fast food" there was certainly nothing fast about it. When the food arrived there were no milk or sugars with our coffees so ended up going back in to get them When i unwrapped my mcmuffin, it was disgusting. The muffin was soggy, and the whole lot was dripping in grease and juices, even the wrapper was that soaked it was falling apart. Shocking service and food. Ended up complaining to Mcdonalds HQ about it.

Usual Maccy Ds food and layout. Normal quick service how ever the men’s toilets absolutely stink not sure if they have drain issues or the mens waterless urinals which save water but smell awful

Not a bad review based on food but went into grab our food. To the manager who spoke to their employee so badly when she was trying to order food on her break, I think you should learn some respect and talk to your employees better. It wasn’t busy.

The service was remarkably efficient, with both human cashiers and touch screens available for ordering. I placed an order for a meal and it arrived within five minutes. The dining area and restrooms were both impeccably clean.

Got home and all food was undercooked, last few times have been a 50/50 coin flip on quality(at best)

Came her on a Saturday after a long drive picking the wife's new car up with my family for a rest and some food and drink. As soon as you enter the premises you felt comfortable and was welcomed by the manager she was lovely and nothing was too much trouble, she went out of her way to help and make you feel comfortable thank you. Plenty of parking space out side and a lovely seating area outside if you wish to sit out it's also a drive through so suits all. Inside Plenty of seating it was clean and the food was most importantly hot. Thank you 😊

I always use this restaurant even though there are ones closer to where I live. It's a very busy restaurant, plenty of seating indoors and outside. Staff are very friendly.

Loverly place for food. Used self serve to order. Not long to wait for food. Take away. Sat on o bench in the large car park. Very relaxing. Lots of parking g spaces.

Ate a breakfast with my family as we were travelling by this place. I looked at my app and it said a load of points would be expiring very soon. So I tried to order something and the app was very slow. I asked for help and a nice lady cleaning the tables said a girl behind the counter would help me. The app sent a code and the girl scanned it, it linked to the till but said waiting for connection. I explained I would loose a lot of points if I didn't use it and it was clearly on there. She saw what was ordered and that it was to that store, however Instead of trying to help me the girl shrugged her shoulders as if to say oh well! What happened to kind customer service. Rather than try to sort it she was happy that I walk away dissatisfied! What's the point of having points if the staff won't help you to use them. Not great!! Won't go there again. Unhelpful staff...

McDonald's bassets pole nice place to visit and enjoy a break on the picnic bench by the woods

While I was ordering our food, my family was at a table and soon approached by someone (I assume the manager) who spent time chatting to them, asking where we were from and just generally welcoming us at the start of our short visit. She seemed to know everyone, and was interacting with customers left and right. We were just stopping for dinner before a long journey and thought her kindness and attention made the place stand out. People can make or break an experience, even at an "everyday" location like a McDonald's -- and she made it for us. Thanks for the unexpected, but appreciated, welcome.

This is a sad McDonalds, totally underwhelming. Once in, 1 of the 6 touch screens wasn't working, neither was the overhead order processing screen. I went for a safe classic, a Big Mac meal. The burgers were wafer thin, I wish I'd photographed it, and the space was taken up with the largest portion of shredded lettuce I've ever seen. The sauce dispensers were empty, as was the straw tray. I had ordered a milk shake, and, as we all know, one cardboard straw doesn't last long and I needed another. I had to reach over the counter at the till to get one as there were no staff front of house. Atmosphere? None existent.

Beware of the 90 mins rule. I went for a meal here and met up with a few friends. I accidentally stayed over the allotted time by a few mins and didn’t notice the signs until leaving. Received a fine in the post for £100 or £50 if paid within 14 days. I just don’t see the logic enforcing this as there is nowhere else to go when you park here but mc Donald’s and the car park wasn’t busy. The restaurant wasn’t interested and said they can’t do anything. I have stopped here a few times when passing and meet up with friends occasionally. We will find somewhere else in future that doesn’t penalise paying customers for taking their time.

The sandwiches were not folded correctly, everything flew to the sides. I took 4 sauces and they didn't give a single one. On that day, they closed at 10:00 p.m., and asked everyone to leave, so I couldn't even tell them about the sauces.

Never seem to get an order right, missing items once again.

Drive thru experience was poor. The card payment system was down and so they could only take cash, but they didn't make me aware when ordering. A simple sign to say cash only or app only at the drive thru entry is all that was needed. Alternatively, a staff member to make people aware when joining the drive thru that they couldn't take card. Unfortunately they didn't do any of this, instead opting waste people's time - I queued for 25 minutes only to be told cash only (which I didn't have).

Dreaded drive through not ready so go and park. Food came out within about 5 mins got home missing some food. Just frustratingly poor.

Closed drive through and totally given wrong order through click and serve

Absolutely fuming I went in the morning and even though I'm shamed to say I went on the way home too. I've been sent a parking ticket because I was apparently there for over 550 minutes. Which I was not. The team won't help me clear my parking ticket. Discusting as I'm just a customer of theirs. So angry. More angry that my fiancee now knows j went twice in a day. Super in trouble at home ha ha.

It's McDonald's. You get what you expect. Cheap and cheerful. But I tell you, the banana milkshake is exceptional.

Sat in the car. It took ages to get served as they were short staffed. He apologised so that was fine. We both agreed it was one of the nicest burgers we have had. Really enjoyed it

Every time we go to this McDonald's without fail they get the order wrong, the consistency of their failures is uncanny, I'm desperate to see if one time they may actually get the order correct, today's apology though reached new depths with a cursory "Have a nice day"

Every time I’ve been here the milkshake and soft drink isn’t working they always forget to salt the fries and have always had to return the burger because it’s never right you order a Big Mac and get a double cheese burger

Alert !!! Do not bother going to any MacDonalds they have greatly increased there prices across the entire whole range of foods nothing but greed for bigger profits !!! Now high prices poor quality food and service. In the USA they have to pay the staff in los angles 20 dollars a hour minimum pay lots of customers refuse to pay the increased price increases you have been been warned

I've been here a couple of times recently. The food was hot and prepared properly on both occasions. Not like other McDonalds restaurants I've been to in the past. The restaurant was clean and the staff are friendly.

Visited on a busy Sunday, however service was quick and food was well prepared. The two cleaner's kept the area clean and interacted well with customers.

20 minutes wait for a chicken Big Mac

I visited this McDonald's for the first time on my way home after visiting Tamworth. Most of my order was ok, however, one of my 3 McFlurry's was less than half full of partly melted ice-cream, probably due to the machine just running out. But the sales assistant said nothing and STILL gave it to me, which I thought was a bit cheeky! The sales assistants also got very confused with customer orders and offered me 2 other customer orders before I got the correct one. The McDonald's had plenty of parking though, so not all bad.

I don’t normally put reviews on but felt like I had to, the general staff are lovely and polite, but one manager with glasses and blondish hair is very rude to the staff which made customers uncomfortable as everyone could hear and see this manager. Didn’t manage to get his name.

My self and my wife went Thursday staff were really help full and place was clean first class place 👏

Yet again, they miss an item, and the sauce off the order, this alway great news when you are back home.

Too expensive for what it is. Burgers are mediocre, chips are usually cold. The good thing is its quick if short of time.

Food was hot and freshly cooked. Plain orders took a little longer as would be expected.

Staff were pleasant and friendly but no sauces put in with order, syrup for drink had run out so ended up with coke coloured soda water. Nuggets overly dry without sauce to mask. Better than a previous local McDonalds who didn't remember to put the nuggets into my child's happy meal at all. Again though, staff were pleasant to deal with. No criticism of their working behaviors, most likely an oversight or lack of attention. KitKat Ruby mcflurry was excellent, can't fault that.

Great location, decent amount of parking and reasonable waiting times.
