Visited several times while we were moored local on the canal. Have been to many chip shops on our journey and this one is too of the list! Food alway amazing and a great variety!!! Definitely worth a visit!!

Travel here for the best food around, I traveled I’ve 10 miles. Great food and very fresh, this was my second visit and I was very impressed, the fish was cooked whilst I waited and the rest of my order including chips and curry sauce and Kebab with the trimmings in a box. Great for coeliacs with lots of gluten free options. All staff are aware of the severity of gluten allergens. Gluten free food is always very clear marked on the bags which means you can enjoy your meal without the worry.

Over prices for vile food , will never use again , chips are dried out probably from the afternoon batch , the Donner meat full of bone bits n grisel,

The girls are amazing. Really great service The guy who did the cooking also needs a mention.

First time in a long time I've been there who was so so busy in there unbelievable there was nowhere to park unfortunately I had a massive van and I was frightened of just parking it anywhere but I did manage to park it but I. Parked it on the yellow line which is something I don't normally do, but I was very hungry. I enjoyed it and I will be back again soon.

Really nice food and the portions are worth it

So ..I have not used the chip shop that long, about four times.Its on my way home,I liked the place a lot the staff are amazing,(very friendly),I only have a small portion and it is plenty,I also asked for hot chili sauce which until now was not charged for,as the lovely girl served me,a guy with a beard very kindly passed the tap and payand I paid only to realise later that he had sneakily charged me 30p for the sauce.I have offered to pay for sauce previously but was told it's ok. I can't believe he was so desperate.If he said I need to charge you fine no problem.I rather starve than go there again.

We've been using this chippy for years, but today they've insisted on serving the chips in a cardboard box and not wrapped in paper. I asked for paper but they will not do it, so until I hear that they will give people the choice, I will be using another chippy?

Absolutely bloody amazing fish and chips! Of you're going for a dip at Dosthill Quarry this is the perfect place for a post dip feast!

We visit here at least once a week for the delish chips and fried chicken! I also love their mixed chicken kebabs- absolutely delish and staff so lovely 😍

Easily, hands down the tastiest, friendliest, competitive price, variety, meaty fish and delicious chips with their gorgeous variety box out there. I'm 52 and have travelled the world eating fish and chips in all the best plaices (see what I did there) and currently sat in car outside front of this wonderful plaice with a full belly, beautiful taste in my mouth and delightful staff. Please support this plaice. I have never had fish and chips as good and tasty anywhere....ever.....in the world. I live 25 miles away but will only use these guys from now on. Worth the journey. Thank you guys I'm sat out front now writing this with the most satisfied and content feeling I've had in years. Whatever it is you do please don't change a thing your food is top notch perfect. Wow. I'll be back at least once a week now. Great prices too.

Best fish and chips place in the Midlands! Brought back happy memories of great UK fish and chips when we visited Kingsbury recently. Very friendly family owner and staff. Must try the fish roe, mushy pea and curry sauce on top of the fish and chips. The frozen drinks were a real hit with the kids and only 50p.

My wife, little baby and I visited this delicious fish and chips shop. The food was wonderful, the staff spectacular. We have to be very careful with respect to dairy free for baby at the moment, the staff were very knowledgeable and respectful, putting us completely at ease. The owner was willing to go the extra mile also and offered to bring a high chair from her own home especially for our little one to join with us to eat. This was so kind and thoughtful. Please visit and support this wonderful family business. I'm sure like us you will leave with a big smile on your face, happy to have met such lovely folks and delighted in delicious fish and chips at the same time 😄

Everytime we go to kingsbury caravani g and camping club site we always end up there while walking the dogs mini fish chips and mushy pead and 2 sausages for the dogs .so freindly and welcoming there great service and lovely food .me T cleaver

I'm a northerner who loves his chippy's and this is the best chippy I've ate at in the Midlands. Chips were fantastic and great service! Highly recommended.

I stopped off at this shop on my way through to grab some lunch. I ordered a large kebab meat and chips. It was lukewarm and pretty tasteless. I wouldn't go here again...if you google it, there are plenty of other options available within a 2 mile radius 👍...

The food is beautifully cooked very tasty. Always made to order, descent portion sizes. very polite and pleasant staff. Clean and tidy. And even when busy they managed to get the queues down quickly.

Family run business, I have been using this establishment for years, always great food and great service! The staff are very welcoming and the portion sizes are fantastic! Can order in store or online for pick up, I used the online function which is extremely easy to navigate, will definitely continue to visit for many more years

My son is Coeliac Disease, so has to have a strict Gluten-Free diet. They understand about cross contamination, which really helps and offer a good selection on the Gluten-Free menu. Never had a bad meal and everything is very fresh. Would definitely recommend.

The very experienced owner with her successful great family history in the fish and chips trade over many years .. always ensures that the standard of food and service is the very best on offer .. the staff are very well trained in great customer service, but the food is the true winner .. for fish and chip lovers of all ages .. the diversity of food is inventive with great healthier options, Lemon pepper cod ( heaven ) and the Gluten free food is the reason customers travel from far and wide .as their knowledge around the needs of coeliac customers is exceptional. By far best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Food piping hot even after travelling and tasted great. Staff were lovely despite having a shop full of customers, all still happy and smiling. Would 100% recommend!

The prices for what you actually get are close to being a scam. 4. The car park can probably fit 4 cars on, which in this day and age, isn't acceptable. 5. I noticed that they were cooking the vegetarian options in the normal side of the range, and when I questioned the staff member about it (I think his name is Michael), he didn't have a clue and was extremely obnoxious. I have since checked out their Facebook page and I have an idea for these lot...Maybe if you spent more time focusing on the quality of the food that you provide and service to customers, instead of stupid themed videos (Halloween, Christmas etc). Had to go over to this area from Wolverhampton , to get a repair done to a car part. Whilst here we came across this chip shop. Small in stature , but proud of it's heritage (family photo on the wall). We had 3 x small bags of chips , 1 x large chip shop curry sauce and 1 x veggie spring roll. We had to wait while the spring roll was being cooked , which we didn't mind. The food when we got it was bang on. The chips were red hot and flavoursome and not at all oily. The chip shop curry sauce was nice and tasty and hot also. My partner loved the spring roll and said it was the best she had had , from a chip shop.. Would definitely go back again if I was ever over this neck of the woods.

This used to be the best chippy by us , but recently the food has been way below par. The chips were like cardboard, and the fish had no flavour. If it had been a cheap meal it could possibly be excused, but for the price we paid it was awful!

We came to Atlantic Fish Bar with around 30 cubs and scouts, we called in advance and they were happy to accommodate a large order at short notice. The staff were helpful and made sure everyone had eaten. The chips were lovely and portion sizes were generous.

Disappointed, we are staying local after travelling from France where we live. We were really looking forward to Fish and Chipe, ordered Haddock , chips and peas. Chips very pale and slightly undercooked, batter on fish was very doughy and undercooked, fish ok but with bones. Peas were good

The best fish and chip shop for miles. The staff are so friendly and helpful. You can tell the passion the owners have for this business. It is SPOTLESS. We drove from Derbyshire on Saturday 13/05/23 to get fish,chips, and their delicious Chinese style curry sauce. You must try this place. The price for mini fish ( not so mini) chips and curry sauce was, I think, about £7.50 I would of paid £10.00 all day long because it was beautiful. I can't stop telling all my family and friends about Atlantic fish bar Kingsbury. You guys are ACE X

I travel 20min to this place semi-regularly for my Chippy fix. I have Coeliac disease so cross contamination is a big concern for me eating out but these guys have a separate fryer for gluten free and even have gluten free vinegar. The meals are always clearly labelled so I know which is my GF one. They always pack it well too so it’s still warm when I get home!

Love the quality of the products from here, costs are rising but they are everywhere.. Excellent portion sizes !! Need to have coke zero in the fridge though!! Enjoy the food when we have take away night and will only get from here as this hasn't let us down!

Visited yesterday with big sister Huge improvement on 2 years ago Piping hot and cooked to order and we didn’t have to wait too long either Very pleasantly surprised. No doubt I’ll return and probably this week.
