The best restaurants serving Fast food food in South Gloucestershire South West

Asked for freshly cooked bacon as I can taste the difference when it's left to sweat in a pot and reheated. The lady straight up said No to my request and confirmed (we just reheat) i didn't think it was a unreasonable request. Work colleagues have no issue with it but if you know your food you know your food, freshly cooked bacon is all i wanted and they cwouldnt cater for me. I'm only here because of the response, i have eaten twice from here as I thought the first time might of been a one off thats why i called to request fresh. Poor service. Poor quality on this one issue about bacon, the rest could be lovely I don't know and probably never will.

(Just edited my review for typing errors). Wow! What an absolutely outstanding takeaway. My friend and I visited tonight. Very large battered haddock for me and a standard cod for him (very generous size too). We had chips, mushy peas to go with it, and our third friend had chips with gravy. Every element of this meal was fantastic. The batter was crisp, bubbly and perfectly cooked, the fish were both beautifully steamed within their casing of batter. The chips were tasty and fresh. The gravy was very thick and tasty (our friend is from Lancashire - Wigan - so she appreciated this!) and the peas perfect. The premises are impeccably clean, the staff very nice indeed. I phoned after we'd eaten to thank them and the man on the phone was very nice, and so humble too. We recommend this excellent place 100% and will now be our new favourite place to go for English-style takeaway foods. Fantastic! Additionally, I've been back a further four times since I originally wrote this review, and the food has been excellent every time.

I have always rated super star fish bar however today when I went in to order the portion of the chips was about a quarter of what they usually give. If these portions continue I will find somewhere else as I could probably get the same amount as a child’s meal elsewhere.

This is the place to visit when you want fish and chips. Food always tastes fresh and lots of it. Often pop in if we fancy that type of food.

My mate was given food poisoning from your chicken balls. We know it is food posting as he has been ill non stop for several days.

Pies were good, but unfortunately the chips were luke warm :(

Not a very nice experience. The fish was soggy and pale and didn’t taste too great. The jumbo sausage was small and the curry sauce was expensive for the size. Was very unhappy with our meal.

Would’ve been nice to actually receive my food atleast be told it’s cancelled rather than wait 2 hours for delivery…

I wanted fried chicken but the staff were quite open about that being off the menu, so I had to try elsewhere. To be honest the place was busy with counter and delivery business orders, so it’s obviously popular despite my vote

Great service food was fresh. The store was extremely clean considering it was packed in the restaurant. Helpful staff recently priced have been reduced. Disabled access is great My reason for the average score only on the atmosphere was it was so noisy due to the large amount of customers, so that is just my personal preference this now way reflects on the score of five ⭐ as it's truly deserved. Thank you McDonald's you get the quality spot on and the price is low. Great menu choice also and the ice-cream machine always seems to work here

Previously, we have placed home deliveries but got frustrated with items being missed. Decided this time to order on the app & collect from store. We kind of (stupidly) took it for granted they surely can't mess up this customer collect order. Got home to find the big Mac was missing & had to drive back to the store & collect one. I've looked through several customer reviews & it seems missed items are the main area of complaints. How hard is it to read an order & check off everything as it's bagged. From previous experience there's not much point complaining to the manager as he couldn't careless the last time. I think the whole store could do with additional training to improve the stores ratings.
