The best restaurants in Howden East Riding of Yorkshire Yorkshire and The Humber

Habitación absolutamente encantador poco de té. Un pequeño y acogedor rincón enclavado en una pequeña esquina de Howden. Sin embargo limitado principalmente con excelente menú artículos caseros. Gran pasteles, quiches deliciosas y una taza de té bien sangrienta! Visitamos con mi pareja y mi madre en la ley. Sentamos en el patio deliciosamente decoradas. Estar preciosa. Tuve el quiche. Casero y un enorme sirviendo en ese lleno de delicioso queso y jamón (algunas otras cosas también). Mi sandwich socios rebosaba completo como era la madre en las leyes. Después estaban húmedos, pasteles enormes y caseros. Qué crackinglittle encontrar! Recomiendo una visita a cualquiera!

Always fresh and always hot.. pizzas are just like you get in restaurants like pizza hut etc. Better than the others in town by a long way!

This isn’t the first time to Florenas, we chose to eat here tonight because of the new pasta menu . We loved the pizzas here so just had to try the pasta . My partner had the king prawn and Monkfish pasta and I had the braised lamb purple pasta . Both dishes tasted superb and quite honestly some of the best pasta we have ever had . We started with a garlic bread and arancini - both a taste sensation . The place itself is beautiful and the staff are super friendly . We watched one of the chefs interact with one of your younger customers ( she looked about 9 ish ) and he was amazing - letting her try ingredients and just a lovely manner with her . We love Florenas and have never had a bad meal here . We will be back .

Un lugar muy bonito al lado del Minster. Nos sentamos afuera bajo el sol y disfrutamos de una bebida caliente con delicioso pastel de zanahoria vegano.

Fantastic fish 'n' chips as always, and the fish cakes are equally as good 👍

Minster Fish Bar is situated in the town, on a street with limited parking, but just around the corner—less than 100 metres away—is a large pay and display car park, so no problem there. The shop was spotlessly clean and tidy, and the staff were very happy, smiling and polite, helping customers feel welcome, as we did. The large haddock was something very special. Fresh, thick, and cooked to perfection in a light, crispy batter. The mushy peas, although a little liquid, were sweet and delicious. The curry sauce was also a treat—thick, with a nice kick, but not overly spicy. The battered sausage was one of the best I'd had: a nice thin beef dripping batter on a quality, meaty sausage. The potato pattie was delicious, containing nice little potato chunks, and the herbs added a subtle flavour. The cheese on the cheesy chips was lightly matured and not overly salty, and there was plenty of it, and the plump chips. A good serving of beef dripping-cooked scraps finished the meal off perfectly. Atrapado un alfiler en un mapa (google) para encontrar un desayuno a una hora de dejar el alojamiento de vacaciones. Qué hallazgo. Interesante decoración mostró los pasteles caseros y salados mientras esperábamos unos minutos para una mesa. Desayuno de aguacate con huevos escalfados en pan de masa madre, tomates secados al sol, chorizo y brotes de guisantes era divino y sustancial. El personal era amable y obviamente disfrutamos de servir y cocinar tanto como disfrutamos comiendo. Haz un desvío. Vale cada kilómetro y cada centavo.

NO vayas aquí a cenar asado. Que (Terrible) Salón de Té era una broma absoluta. Olvídese de una espera de 15 minutos para el agua del grifo, o incluso la espera de 40 minutos para la "comida" - No anuncie Sunday Roast si no lo es. Carne fría y viscosa servida con un pudín de yorkshire seco, 2 papas asadas y una "selección" de verduras al vapor y puré de papas grasoso. Salimos antes de intentar consumir lo que nos habían dado. TAN pobre. No hay problema con los servidores, no es su culpa - pero por Dios parecían muy fuera de su profundidad. Cíñete a pasteles y bocadillos.

Excellent Ice Cream, a total must to visit! Superb choice of flavours, so much so its difficult to either choose or have rhe same one as last time....

We visited Zolsha as an adult family group for an evening meal in April 2025. We found the food excellent quality, the best we have had for a while, and all the staff were friendly and attentive. Free parking but imagine this gets full at busy nights/times. The restaurant is well presented and modern with a bar lounge area for pre or post meal drinks, or if waiting for a takeaway which seemed popular. We found the pricing good value for the quality. Our only down side was we found the restaurant very noisy, and the tables are quite close together which if you get a drunk and noisy party next to you like we did it ruins it a bit. Having said that, highly recommended and we will certainly be back on a weekday night and for takeaways as it's better than our closest one!

¡No, dónde está la comida como la cocina, es una locura! Las ensaladas son enormes y mi favorito absoluto. El personal es muy amable y los pasteles son para morirse!

Very friendly . Looked reasonably priced. BUT the food was tasteless and no I don't have COVID.. very little spice in the starters and the mains were like dishwater.... The chicken was of very poor quality. We thought it must be previously frozen as it was hard. It beggars belief I know as the previous reviews were excellent. But for me one bad experience will keep me away forever.
