Family of six which included our two grandsons went early evening on Saturday 1/02/2020. All the meals we had especially the pizza were delicious. The service was great and all the staff were very obliging.
We would certainly go back again in the future.

This place was recommended by a friend and I’m so pleased that we tried it.
From the moment I phoned to book we felt welcome. I called the day before for a table of six on a Friday night for my daughter’s birthday and although they seemed busy when we arrived and one of their chefs was off they still took our booking which I was very grateful for.
The food was lovely and the portions were generous. We all enjoyed our food, both starters and mains. The year before we’d gone to an Itallian in London and ended up with tiny overpriced portions but these portions were the perfect size even for the most hungry of our group! I didn’t manage all of mine but was kindly given a box to bring it home in.
We would definitely like to visit this restaurant again.
Was a lovely afternoon treat boating Charlie’s. Lovely atmosphere, the food was yummy and tea was very nice (and strong! Love strong tea!) obviously less strong is available!
They have a really good selection of vegan/non-diary alternatives which is super!!
Space to sit indoors or outside as well as takeaway, which seemed to be very busy too. Definitely a good sign. Will definitely be back. The team there were lovely and friendly too - thank you xx
Best Indian I’ve EVER had!! 500000/5 stars! I have come all the way from America and will be making this journey weekly if I have to! My husband loves the Bhuna and Madras curries, and I had the Lamb Explosion- if you like spice that dish is for you! Beyond the incredible food, the staff are so kind - if we could get them to sit and dine with us, we would!
Booked afternnon tea for my 94 year old mum before Christmas but had to re-book as she wasn't well. Andrea couldn't have been more helpful with that and we visted last Saturday 25th January. The service was first class, with a warm welcome on arrival. Afteroon Tea was wonderful with a good selection of sandwiches and cakes. a loverly relaxed atmosphere in a quirky but beautiful restaurant. Thank you Andrea it made a nice end to a wonderful day out for my mum. David
My favourite restaurant in town. I've tried almost all the items on the menu, and have never been let down.
From halloumi burgers to chicken skewers to the burgers and steaks. Real food at unbelievable prices.
Have been going since 2014, and whenever i am away from home, i always find myself craving a 'Laurel'
This is a great place for a large, well cooked breakfast, By 9.30am most of the tables were full and I can see why. Friendly staff, good tea, excellent food and a lovely local relaxed atmosphere. I had the Bubble and Squeak with extra mushrooms and bacon, and it was lovely; good portion, well cooked.
The food was delicious.
Fresh and cooked perfectly.
The lady serving us wonderful, helpful.
A lovely little cafe, worth trying their tasty Greek food and breakfasts.
Coffee good and fruit juice freshly made.
What a wonderful way to start the day :-)
Been going to this fish and chip shop my whole life and we have missed since it shut from a fire. It’s back and even better than before. Warm and friendly staff and great food
Frequently visited. Excellent coffee and bacon rolls. Recently taken to their milk shakes. More seating added a few months ago. Greenwood Park is very popular with dog owners. Saturday morning can be very busy if wanting to park.
