phenomenal experience at chilli Bar St Albans . flavors were incredibly rich and authentic, with each dish more delicious than the last. The service was attentive and warm, and the ambiance was cozy and inviting. The service from the Staff here is absolutely spot on. The restaurant is located on top of town and there ample seating space inside for life parties. The food is absolutely delicious authentic Bangladesh cooking. There is a car park located on the opposite side of the restaurant. There is a range of drinks from the fully licensed bar they have and they could make you whatever cocktails you fancy. Thank you again for looking after us the chilli bar team.

Family of 3 for a lunch sitting on bank holiday for our anniversary. It really wasn’t that busy with about 10 covers and 3 members of staff but it was all over the place. We waited 20 minutes to get our drinks order and everyone was chasing for drinks, food and their bills. Not sure I’ll return

My daughter and son-in-law took me to the Golden Elephant as a Mother's day treat. They know it is my favourite restaurant in the area. I was not disappointed. Joe (the owner) was very welcoming and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food and atmosphere were excellent. I can thoroughly recommend it.

Ordered vegetarian dishes for takeaway. It was really enjoyable, not greasy and loads of favour. Will use again for sure.

Bland, bland and more bland! Ordered a takeaway after reading the positive reviews. All I can say is don’t believe everything you read on Tripadvisor. Pad Thai was really disappointing. Green Curry was so bland, had better from a packet. Overall very disappointed.

This is a really underrated place to eat at. I always go for lunch (never do takeaway) every once in a while. I can vouch for the freshness, quality and portions. I really enjoy trying different meals and I always end up very impressed. Staff is nice and food is prepared on spot so waiting time is reasonable and worth the wait. I recommend this place for lunch. The lunch special deal is affordable and tasty.

Unfortunately the taste of the meal was not very good, the chicken that had sauce on look ok but when I tasted it, it was dry and very hard to eat and did not taste nice and the rice looked ok but the same thing the taste was so bad and very stodgy. Very disappointing as I have had better from this restaurant in the past.
