They then delivered a brilliant service on the night to 100+ guests, & the food was sensational. There was plenty of food, the portions were perfect, & the feedback from our guests was outstanding. This restaurant has gone from good to worse. I have visited frequently in the past and of late the quality of food, service and restaurant cleanliness has considerably deteriorated. I’ve recently tried to order online….but it seems that they have a minimum order for collection of £10; found this appalling as my bill came to £9.50. Needless to say that I ordered from a very reliable and consistent competitor and will not be visiting again.

Tavah catered for my daughter’s henna function and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The food was amazing that everyone appreciated. The team especially Imran super friendly and accommodating, making the whole event feel effortless. What impressed me the most that It felt like they genuinely cared about making our gathering special. I'll definitely be a repeat customer.

The best Pakistani taste in the most affordable price. I would say it was the best value to my money as the quantity was very good. The staff here was friendly and they continuously checked on us if we needed anything more. I was very pleased to be here and would come back to eat every time.

Decided to dine in this restaurant. Firstly the table was dirty and had to ask staff to clean it. Secondly they don’t even switch the extractor fans on whilst cooking, came out wreaking of cooking. Staff seem very unprofessional. However on a plus note, food was ok, but place and service was terrible. Wouldn’t use again.

Great food as always but sort of lazy service staff. I have many times dined in the restaurant. Also have ordered takeaways .The food has always been great . with the service however lacks any sort of effort from the front of house staff. It’s a great shame that this is the case .I hope the owners do pull the finger out and re-train the staff who are serving customers on the till. so front of house staff to serve his customers more promptly and accurately. Just to give you an idea of an example I have added a lamb biryani onto my order which I’ve also paid for. it was also written on the side of the order. Just to put in and prospective there was no customers in the shop at that time, so it wasn’t busy. Took the gentleman 5 to 10 extra minutes just asking every staff about who’s biryani it was, when I was right in front of him. he could’ve just asked me. on top of that another gentleman came out asking if this biryani was paid for in their own language. The funny thing is the man who took the order already told them that it was paid for and pointed towards me that the order was mine. Still they made sure 10 times over that I am not running off a Biryani. Just so the owner know this is a genuine review. The order value was £75 On the 19-8-23 late evening 21.45 collected If they wish to follow it up.

Had heard good things about their food so called them a while about their ppopular breakfast. Was told they serve it at weekends up until 12 noon. So we drove 15 miles last Sunday, arrived at 11.54am and wife dashed across a busy road to ensure we don't miss out only for door to be locked and closed sign up. Once I'd parked the car I saw a man at the counter on the telephone, he clearly saw us outside looking bemused but instead of an effort at explanation he rudely waved us away and carried on rabbiting on the '[phone. The food may well be good but I'll never know for sure as with customer service like that I won't be going back.

Small, dedicated team that produce excellent Pakistani food. I had Karachi Nihari, normally a beef stew, cooked for 3-5 hours and in the old days before Partition eaten for breakfast by Princes. On this occasion, it was lamb and took 45 minutes, but well worth waiting for. The meat was tender, tremendous depth to the sauce and the marrow from the large bone gave it that extra something. Service was friendly and efficient, business was brisk with a largely Pakistani cliental, which is always a good sign.

We ordered the Nihari and Haleem and it was most delicious! The food was just the right spiciness for us and generous portions of meat. The garlic Nan was fresh and soft. Definately order the right food to enjoy it.

We recently had dinner with some friends at Tavah. The food was wonderful, and so was the service. I highly recommend it, and I only wish I lived closer so we could eat there more often!

Ordered a Platter for 2 which was delicious and more than enough for 2 people. Rice was aromatic and fluffy, grilled kebabs and chicken was succulent and tender, nan bread was nice and chicken curry was also spot on. Good value for money too. Waiter was welcoming and humorous. Will return and try other things on the menu.

Got a takeaway and they missed part of the order. Nothing extraordinary in taste, just box standard grills - I prefer chicken cooked on tandoor. Not a welcoming atmosphere or attitude from the person behind the till.

Amazing food and the hospitality from staff was amazing and respectful ! Food was fresh and the smell was out of this world !! Would recommend to all friends and family

Delicious food and so fresh. We always get one of the platters which are just amazing. Great service either to eat in or home delivery.

One of the best curries I have had ever. Amazingly fresh and tasty. Nothing special but homemade Pakistani food, just as you mum might make. Lovely owner who will make you feel welcome. Great chef fab food. Number one in my book for a tasty curry.

Everything very fresh, smells and taste amazing. Meat very tender, whether get grills (come out sizzling) or curries both amazing. Friendly relaxed atmosphere. As is not “posh” eg like Prime maybe doesn’t get credit it deserves. For me my favourite restaurant in St Albans
