The best restaurants serving Default food in North Down South Eastern NI

I was a regular for years, they said a guy hadn't payed last week, they pulled the same thing on me.

Perfect for on a budget and for gymgoers to feel more welcome compared to super greasy spots. A taste so divine like no other & friendly staff with 100% sanitary conditions.

I ordered a bbq chicken pizza with loaded nachos and a slice of red velvet cake from these guys at about 22:00 on just eat. Nearly immediately I get a phone call from one of their staff claiming there has been some sort of glitch and that basically I'm about to revieve a notification telling me the order has been cancelled and that I shouldn't worry because the issue was on his end. So I got refunded my £36.48 and assumed I was going to have to pay at the door 2 hours later a guy shows up with a card machine asking me to pay £49.62 even though the delivery fee stated on just eat is £3.50. Begrudgingly I bought it because I was very drunk at the time. The pizza was just cold and burnt. The nachos still had some heat but the cheese sauce had basically liquidated the nachos into goop the velvet cake was pretty good though.

I have been a loyal customer ever since this place opened. Never had a bad experience with the food or service until today. Ordered from their new app since they moved from Bangor Eats and the money went through and was told that my food would come by 18:35 it’s now 19:35 and I still don’t have my food and every time I call the number of the business the call just drops before anyone can answer and when I messaged on Facebook I get an automated response telling me to call them. Shameful way to treat a loyal customer, never ordering from here again

This cafe used to be dog friendly but not anymore unless they’re happy to lie on a dirty, hard, cold floor. My little dog (which is non casting!) likes to sleep either on my lap or on a blanket which TOTALLY covers the seat which I always wipe before leaving!) that’s no longer allowed despite having been ok for the last 3 years! I saw a disabled lady with a tiny dog on her lap, inside her coat being told to put it on the floor - just ridiculous! We’ve been in cafe Nero across NI, Scotland, England and Wales and 99% of time there is no issue with regard to our dog. Either this cafe’s policy is dog friendly or it isn’t - there are numerous other cafes for those who will just complain about anything to go, get a life!

Great food , service is very good. John will cook anything you ask him which is not on menu top chef and his staff excellent. Recommend .

Ah well…! This could be great but something amiss. Will keep an eye on Tripadvisor reviews for improvement before we try again.

I went in here today at lunchtime to order a sausage supper which cost me £4.85. Rather than stay in the shop with my mask on I chose to wait outside, and while standing outside I noticed a board on the wall stating that they were doing a lunchtime special sausage supper with beans etc for I think £3.30. So I went straight back in and asked if I should have ordered this instead and was told by the younger staff member I had ordered with that; "you didn't order that". I said that I didn't know there was a special, but might expect to be advised of this when ordering. Her reply was "there's a sign outside with the specials on it that you could have read". Embarrassed, I went back outside again to wait for my supper. Needless to say I won't be back. This review is not about the difference in cost - more to highlight the service other readers might expect to receive here.

issues with quality of food the chips were cold and mostly small crispy End bits the batter on the fish was soggy and cold waste of money as a pensioner could not eat this.deluvery driver was the best part about the order as he was on time and deliver to the door

Shocking, had to air fry all food was sodden with oil, nothing was crisp. Gravy was a lumpy glupe, mushrooms never available, so why have them on menu. This place has fallen out of love of serving edible food and showing customers we care. Not edible

Oh this was really dreadful Serving lady was indifferent..... steakette definitely tasted off.... Had to ask where the kids drink was with my grandaughter's drink included meal. Not a happy experience and will NOT be back!!

My wife and I had not been to the cafe for several years, and stopped coming on a Saturday because the service was so slow with long queues extending out into the store. On our return on a Friday afternoon we were surprised to find the service still as slow as ever, and I wonder how bad it would be at a busier time. All said we enjoyed our americanos and took our time over them.

missing chicken bites and only 1 garlic sauce was delivered :(

I love this place, I go here alot and everythings fresh and tasty, the staff are very nice and friendly.👍
