The best restaurants serving Default food in Rural West York York Yorkshire and The Humber

I had the pleasure of eating Meg’s food at a catered event and fell beyond in love with the amazing dishes she makes! Although Akl is slightly out of the way for me, I will walk there if I need to to have her amazing Hummus again (best I’ve ever had), or any of the other delicious salads and sweets. Thank you so much for an amazing culinary experience!

Found this little oasis by accident. Definitely coming back. The staff were very kind and coffee was great too. I enjoyed the gluten free Lichfields salted caramel flapjack.

Great local cafe with a small menu but still provides a good choice. More for locals, although we have visited on a few occasions when visiting friends. Good atmosphere and everyone are very friendly.

We love Al Volo, for its unusual location, wonderful views, delicious food and friendly staff. We often visit for drinks & food whilst walking or bring friends or family for lunch. The food never disappoints and they also, as a coeliac, I am well catered for.

Staff were very friendly, efficient and considerate. Service was fast. Food tasted amazing and was hot.

My daughter and I popped in here for elevenses this morning and had a wonderful time! Service was quick and friendly, the flapjack was delicious; I'm sure we'll be back!

A tad expensive for my liking. A kids sandwich is one slice of bread & one rasher of bacon for nearly £5. Not that I'm being cheap but one slice of bread.

Amazing pub and amazing employees

Amazing food, stylish pub and very friendly staff - would recommend highly. We had the chicken burger and cheese and onion pie, both exceptional. I think a lot of pubs do nice food but I'm rarely as impressed as with this place.

Wow. Fantastic pub. Wish it was my local. Sat in the sun in the sheltered beer garden. Didn't have food as already eaten, but smelt and looked great and no one was complaining as they left!

Excellent breakfast. Worth the money. Friendly staff & a lovely place to eat.
