called into day without booking, the food was amazing and the staff fantastic

Gone down hill compared to our last visit . It used to be the in place for lunch but not anymore . No chips , food has no nice side salad , presentation non existence. Most disappointing and unappetising .

Mi esposa y yo dimos un paseo por el embalse de Damflask con la intención de visitar el Nags Head por recomendación de un amigo. No nos decepcionó, Kath comió hamburguesa con papas fritas mientras comía bistec y pastel Stilton con papas fritas. Tan agradable tener patatas recién hechas y no la variedad triple cocinada. Todo regado con Bradfield celebrando cerveza pálida. Definitivamente volveremos, gracias a todos en el Nags Head.

En primer lugar, me encanta la renovación completada hace aproximadamente un año, y el personal. Son tan amables y muy eficientes para mantener las tabpas limpias y acogedoras. El menú es amplio y muy buena relación calidad-precio. . . el problema radica en la cocina. Hay una clara habilidad mixta dentro del desfile de chefs y mientras mis socios y mis 'tazones profundos' salían nadando con salsa (inundados de queso y salsas agridulces) y no eran realmente placenteras, otros servidos en mesas adyacentes eran perfectos. Hablando con el personal sobre el tema, declararon que es un problema en la cocina y la administración realmente necesita resolverlo para garantizar que siga siendo uno de los favoritos para los comensales, incluido nosotros.

Brilliant, absolute value for money, excellent atmosphere and good people

Usually I enjoy the peacock,the food had always been good.On this occasion it was a let down. I ordered the steak and ale pie with mash and peas which i have had before and was my favourite choice off the menu .The pie was hot on the outside but cold in the middle.I informed a member of staff who didn't even apologise ,she took my plate away and came back about 5 minutes later,same pie but now it was steaming hot.I presume they just popped it In the microwave.An apology would've been appreciated !

Wow !! This place is huge !! I came here just before opening and was amazed at the size of this venue... Huge amount of indoor and outside seating with multitudes of screens showing the latest sports depending on your taste in sports they can show multiple different events at the same time (just ask at the bar and tell them where your sitting) Tastefully decorated with comfy seating and exceptionally clean throughout with no attention to detail missed. 3 pool tables and the biggest outdoor screen I've ever seen at a pub.. outside bar is open during the summer and sporting events. Beers from £2.95 and spirits from £1.99 5 minute walk from the university campas this is the ideal meet and greet hub. Champs is a stunning venue serving food from 12 midday till 9 Friendly staff and comfy surroundings, a real treat on them hot summer days to come. 😎

Nice cosy cafe, relaxed atmosphere and great cakes. The Veggie burger needs changing though please. It did not taste good, rather bitter and it was a crumbly consistency. I eat Veggie burgers everywhere, ranging from vegetables in breadcrumbs to fake meat, beetroot, cauliflower, bean burger, moving mountains etc. I had to leave this one half eaten (I never leave food) Coffee and cake was great!

Visité este lugar con mi familia. La pizza caliente vegetariana ordenada de 16 pulgadas. Puedo decir que fue una pizza fantástica y mis hijos y mi esposa estaban muy felices. Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar.
