Love Nawaz restaurant and the staff are amazing. it's a great family. Today I got a take away. it was early and hot. I've tried so many restaurants and this is the only one I can trust the quality of food and taste. been ordering from here for years also a great place to eat out or book for a birthday or event.

Ordered from the website and payment went through but when we rang up they had no record of the order at all and could not be guaranteed a refund not good

Took hubby (who is his birthday), sister & brother in law to The Wellington at Shadwell, today 21/5/25. Sat down, ordered drinks, then left to the menu for a few minutes. Waitress came back and we ordered our food. After waiting roughly 40 minutes for the paella (which we were warned about). When the food arrived all looked well. However 3 of the 4 mains were just lukewarm. We got the attention of the waitress by going to find one. We explained what was wrong. She then offered to rewarm them, in a restaurant? We politely asked for them making freshly. It's obvious that the paella & the other 3 mains were all started at the same time. Then the 3 lukewarm mains were put somewhere, while the paella had finished cooking. Meanwhile the waitress offered a free round of drinks, which we accepted. Then a few minutes after that another waitress brought the drinks. A few minutes later arrived the 3 replacement meal. All fresh, & all at a good temperature. So our 1st visit to an ego. What a disappointment, scratch that. It was a disaster. Any wonder it was lacking in patronage. As a side not, another table were complaining about the time the courses were taking.

Outstanding as per usual Food top notch, value for money superb, customer service top friendly staff, bonus is its a great pub as well as a great eating place...Certain so called cafe in the shopping centre take note!!

Delicious Fish & Chips – A Must-Try! We visit this place once a fortnight its my sons favourite. From the moment you walk in, the staff are welcoming and friendly. The fish is perfectly cooked—golden, crispy batter on the outside and tender, flaky fish on the inside. It freshly cooked every time. What really stands out is the portion size and value for money. Generous servings at a great price make this spot even better. I also appreciated that everything is served piping hot and not greasy, which is a big plus for a fish and chip shop.

Went for a Sunday lunch with kids and partner, nice carvery would recommend.

Have passed this place several times over the past few months, and it's clearly closed. A shame because it was popular and well reviewed. I never got to try it!

Used to go regularly, although it was closed the previous time we came. However, after ordering today by app, they got half the order wrong & didn't refund for providing children's portions instead of the adults portions clearly paid for. (Had to send back individual nachos after they were sent in place of the sharer ordered & paid for). A disappointing drop in standards. The pattern of trying to short change customers is worrying.

Ordered a margherita pizza (literally just cheese on a pizza base, no tomato sauce) and a tandoori special with no onions. Still ended up getting onions and neither pizza cut properly (had to do it myself). Good job I don't have an allergy to onions... If you want a decent pizza, better off going to Paradise in Hunslet

Kebab meat on pizza was awful and smelled off really bad .worst kebab ive tasted ...my mixed indian starter was nice though ..disappointed
