I always love coming to this pub. Drinks are fresh, food is lovely, I love coming to the quiz every Wednesday. Staff are friendly and helpful, big thanks to Beth and sam for always smashing it.

We had a few drinks before the carvery. The service was perfect, with the waitress Sue clearly the table and checking if everything was alright. Not many around like her these days. Will definitely be calling back. Mick & Teresa

I have been here a few times now and would just like to say how amazing Sue is. She is always friendly and polite, always makes sure we have everything we need whilst dining. She really is a very pleasant lady that is always happy to help. Thank you Sue for always making us feel welcome and valued :)

Grrat service from the staff, Wonderful food! And a family friendly environment. The one who served me was very helpful in explaining how I could get a deal on the meals which reduced the cost quite considerably. Her name was Nicole.

Came for the bottomless pizza. There seemed to be some confusion as this was fairly new to the team. They didn't have the pizzas I wanted and we chose other's. Mark our server was actually amazing and the manager on shift was great. They let us change a pizza for our next order due to us not getting my initial order and mark helped us out by allowing us to take out our remaining pizza and was really interactive with my daughter, got her colouring and chatted. Mark tbh turned the entire visit around for me into a positive

I visited Barnbow Stonehouse and carvery crossgates with my family on Saturday and she was amazing, she delivered service with a smile and conversation, she reccomended to me what the bestsellers were on the menu and drinks menu ;) & she was not wrong! Me and my family will definitely be returning soon! Thank you Nicola :)

Nicola was a good server to us. Her and Chloe went above and beyond to give my grandad who turns 80 a good experience. My son gave Chloe a good review. Nicola also deserves a good review and deserves and pay rise

Served by a guy named Sam who was very pleasant and helpful, his smile was very welcoming hope he continues in your employment.

Had a great Sunday lunch with my family today. My son had a pizza which he thoroughly enjoyed and the rest of us had carvery. Then on to dessert, the sticky toffee pudding and chocolate fudge cake portions were fab! And the kids made the most of the ice-cream. Thank you to Danielle for the pizza and the young lady that served us was lovely, polite & friendly and happy to help.

Appalling service - placed a delivery order for two Carvery's & only receive one of the carvery's which had numerous items missing including the meat! Absolutely disgusting! I will not be recommending this pub grub anytime soon!

Not been in for a while and went in today and got brilliant service from wez as always a lovely atmosphere

Sam was lovely and help to mop the little ones spillage, and for him another drink, thank you Sam!! Unfortunately the carvery was cold .

Overall excellent, however the actual state of the building and furniture is extremely poor, that said the staff both front and back are friendly and excellent with special mentions to Evie both in the kitchen and evie front of house, nice nice people always smiling and friendly to boot, also a mention to big sam front of house, similar attitude to the Evies 😃

The food was good but unfortunately the service was so slow for our party of 60. This was despite the fact that we booked months before and they had our complete orders 2 weeks prior to the date. The staff serving did their best and should be commended. Lucy, Tammy and Liv couldn't have done more but the company should have laid on extra staff. Unfortunately, this has put us off booking for next year 😕

Had a Breakfast delivered from Uber very dubious about delivery breakfast. This was out of this world. Great food so tasty. 5 stars doesn't o it justice. Well done Wes & Evie for a great service.

Normally very nice and great service but when visited on Wednesday evening terrible when served was never told that meat for carvery will be 30 minutes because left over bits of meat on the buffet was terrible and uneatable never had an apology from any of the staff about this inconvenience. Hope this place improves when the meat is still been cooked or at least informed by a member of staff.

Still warm after 5 mile Deliveroo delivery to me. Very happy with food quskity and sensible packaging. Willl be ordering again!

Amelia was absolutely brilliant when I went in she was incredible and very kind and insisted us with all our needs and me and my mum left her a tip

Very disappointed with the carvery, it was cold, the chef checked it and said the temperature reading was correct meaning the food was at the right temperature, I was given another plate off food, and this was warm. Also the disable toilet was not laid out for someone with a disability, there was 1 grab rail, the raised toilet seat was on the floor, so this made it harder to use the toilet, the lighting was very poor aswell. But I will say the staff was very helpful and friendly.

My name is mark and i called into the barnbow last week for some food after going out with my children food was excellent staff are very friendly and welcoming helpful with any and every need

After my visit yesterday at the Barnbow I would happily dine there again!! All the staff has been retrained for allergies the owner was informing me , I feel very comfortable & safe now knowing the allergy issue for anyone is taken seriously !!! I had a lovely meal yesterday !! Thank you Lucy !!! Take care !!

went to a wedding party the food was a hotchpotch of pizza. roast potatoes sandwiches breaded prawns etc. didn't really work but tasted ok

I can't fault the service quality and food

My daughter has a pepper allergy and the manager ( I think it was) screen shot all the food packages on the carvery for us so we could check he was really helpful and I was very impressed

We booked a party in the function room here. When booking nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff we spoke to. On the day all the staff were lovely and the bar man worked his socks off! A great place, only thing that let it down slightly was soggy nachos on the buffet but everything else was fabulous!

I think we randomly picked a really bad evening unfortunately. 1) There was a big reception being hosted in the back rooms & that got preferred access to the kitchen meaning food was at least an hour's wait. 2) Uber eats guys constantly arriving & taking all the food & attention from counter staff. Uber eats took all the roast potatoes for example so none left for guests. Staff were stretched thin & really doing their best so can't fault them in their efforts to try to help. Nice to have a carvery available & if everyone had chosen that there would have been negligible waiting of course.

food ok but a pub this size should be able to offer more then 2 desserts brownies and apple pie groups of young lads loud and using foul language was not good

The roast potatoes were not proper roast potatoes. They looked like frozen potatoes which are put in the oven. They were undercooked too. They were not very nice at all. Not the usual standard of the carvery. I had a chocolate brownie for dessert which was cremated in the microwave. It was hard and chewy. It wasn't a pleasant experience yesterday. Normally the food is lovely but it was very disappointing at this visit.

A first timer at The Barnbow. Won’t be the last! The food was brilliant, the atmosphere was lovely, the place was nice and tidy, but what made it for us was the staff, they were professional, friendly and helpful. Brought colouring over for our children and most of all interacted with us throughout our whole visit. We would definitely recommend, I had the carvery which was fresh, hot, and the best roast potatoes ever! My partner enjoyed his Philly pizza, and both of our girls enjoyed their chicken dippers, which came with a free dessert! Fantastic value for money. We are already looking forward to our next visit, thank you Wes and everyone else at The Barnbow. See you soon!

Fantastic food, friendly staff, and a lovely atmosphere, made my birthday extra special, can’t wait to go back.

I came in on a Friday afternoon and was greeted by Sam at the bar. He was so lovely and helpful and even offered to help bring our drinks to our table! I then went to the carvery and was served by Evie, the carvery was fabulous all fresh meats and vegetables. All customer service was lovely 10/10 from the staff at the barnbow!!!!

Great place to eat drink and relax had a BBQ chicken burger which was lovely and sticky toffee pudding to finish. Staff all lovely and helpful was busy evening but everyone seemed to know what they were doing. There was a manager called Emma who did our desserts which were fantastic and a lady in a blue top running round the place called Sue both amazing would definitely recommend coming here.
