Very busy Costa, always great service here

Sometimes you don't get real cream, you get the whip stuff which isn't that nice. Otherwise it's good.

Friendly staff and good service. Food is quite expensive for what it is though.

The main reason for the 5 stars are the amazing staff here. They quickly learn their regulars drinks and foibles. You really feel looked after. The drinks menu is extensive, and some are positively divine. Some of the more elaborate drinks may seem a little pricey, but if you think of them as dessert they are reasonable.

Absolutely amazing place with very friendly staff! I ordered with my friend and they put in the wrong syrup by accident but made it into a brand new flavour frappe! And gave my friend a larger frappe for the inconvenience! I am very happy.

Popped in with my wife for a toasted teacake and coffee. Latte for me Americano for my wife. Fast service very nice teacakes but we both thought the coffee not up to scratch. Latte was weak and Americano bitter. Shame really cos we enjoyed the Costa cafe and it's location and staff are lovely.

Coffee is not always amazing (that is Costa in general) but the staff are so lovely and kind every time. Thank you!

The new manager think she is clever but end of the day she don’t know what she doing I ordered peach ice tea and basically taste like tea why do I have to pay for something where it’s not being delivered properly the service it’s disgusting I hope she not gonna stay there for long I been working for this company over 5 years and I do know how it’s should to do be make is she can’t take complains time to found another job smile more less stress horrible place do not recommend

Everything was cleaned and tidied. The food was wonderful and looked incredible. Overall it was a very relaxing environment to go to with really nice staff and an accessible entrance. I've come here to study for the past two years and it's been perfect for everything that I need

The staff are extremely friendly

Wouldn’t let me use the toilet before purchasing my coffees they were too busy cleaning and shut the area to all customers so I walked out and went to Costa at seacroft. Not used this one in a while due to staff having poor customer service and again it shows nothing has changed

Nice modern little coffee shop in an otherwise tired looking Crossgates shopping mall. I was served by a pleasant member of staff and took a table outside on the verandah.

They were still advertising the Hazel maple latte all over the store, so I ordered one. I was then told that they don't do that latte anymore. Staff need to be on the ball with their advertisements. Once a product has stopped being sold then take down the adverts for it. Its not difficult. It is what you are paid to do.

We sat inside for a drink but were served drinks in paper cups because they were slightly busy & only had 3 staff ! 😳

I believe Costa is the best fresh roast out there, in the hands of a skilled Barista with a lovely cake, spot on.

Super lovely place for coffee, tea, pdrinks, and food. Cappuccino and banana cake my favourite. Staff are brilliant and the place is nice and clean, I would definitely recommend. 😉👍

the staff is really nice and friendly, unfortunately it's disgusting to wait in a 10 miles queue for a Coffee just with 2 staff, it's impossible to serve so many people esp on a Friday morning The management really needs to sort it out already as in hire some extra staff on your bussy hours! i know you guys have to reach some kpi-s but don't put your staff to this amount of stress and pressure it's been going like this for so long now; it's a disgrace !!!

Didn't use Costa coffee. But a little cafe next door. Much cheaper for same stuff.

I needed a coffee after having eye test. The queue was quite long. The latte wasn't as good as usual. You couldn't taste the coffee so really once sugar in it was just like hot milk. I would have taken it back but the queue was extremely long Not as good as uou expect from Costas.

Love Costa although short staffed on a regular basis, the staff that are there do their best to treat everyone with the same high standards.

It's a lovely place and the staff are friendly. The only downside is there is always a queue as it seems to take ages from orders to be filled. I think a bit more speed (not the drug sort! 🤣) would raise my star rating.

A very busy coffee shop. The staff are friendly, and the frappa's are to die for. There is plenty of seating . The toilets could do with checking by staff to ensure they stay clean during the day.

I went for a free drink as per offer. But the assistant used an extra bean I didn't want to use today. I asked her to put it back on which she couldn't do. Also nobody could pay with money unless they give the correct money as they had no money! Not happy with costa coffee shops recently.

Paying £3.35 for a late I expected something good, being a barista I know how proper coffee is made and the way the lady made it was not good, the milk was not made was not correct at all the lady just shouted the phorpher in and left it, to make it worse she put the milk in first not in a circular motion and the espresso shot on top of it. Very disappointing.

Poor choice of hot sandwiches ( NO bacon and only a few sausage ). This is not the first time I have had to complain about this. I went there two days ago and there were NO bacon or sausage sandwiches so went elsewhere. This place needs a manager who is on the ball with stock ordering. Disappointed.

Always find the coffee a bit weak even with the extra shot, but everyone has a different taste. The staff were great, very polite, and friendly, It was also the first time I've not had to ask for the foam to be removed from my latte.

Lovely member of staff absolutely great she was so polite and friendly and very very helpful I think she's a credit to the store went in around quarter to 6 this evening and it was just a really pleasant experience.

Drunk people sat outside swearing. Slow service from 3 staff behind counter each doing 1 part of the drink. Drink was only Luke warm and I was told that's what they were like.

Women was very rude and wasn't willing to help seemed really flustered and wasn't even busy

Great coffee. Busy place has a certain buzz. Staff are all very nice. Always well stocked. Shame about parking as free is hard to come by. Main car park is 1.20 min and .50 on Sunday when free is easier to get anyway. Overall one of best costas I have visited. Mmm staff not as good as was . Shame . Down to 3 stars from 4 sorry. Better again

Treat my daughter and I expensive for what you get and felt rushed to know what to order. Was clean and the staff were friendly, polite and helpful.

It seems that this once great branch of the coffee chain is now steadily going downhill. Table after table of dirty trays with cups and abysmal service. What happened to the staff of less than two years ago who greeted you with a smile and knew your order before you even said it? Now, you are lucky to get the correct order even after they ask what you want. ☕😭

Always find staff to be friendly enough from this location with the coffee being nice.

For prices they are charging not good. You are given paper cups, food is put on paper plates or in a bag. I've stopped going there.

Waited 30 mins in a queue, on a hot day, for an iced coffee.. only to get out of the place, take one sip and realise it had been sweetened without my say so. Absolutely vile, went straight in the bin. Please don’t sweeten people’s drinks by default 🤢

Costa not the same different staff each week so new ones always learning therfore up to fifteen minutes stood awaiting just for a coffee.

2 young staff in that didn't seem to know what was going on serving coffees in paper cups as no cups had been collected and washes dirty tables waited 20 mins for our coffee as she forgot we had even ordered ... sorry for the bad review but if I wanted a coffee in a paper cup ide ov gone to Costa express one very disappointed customer

Always come to this Costa, and I know they had staffing issues which never bothered me as it can’t be helped but the new staff are too loud it’s like a play area, 2 people had to ask to be served. I’ll go to the cafes from now on

Greeted with the barrista shouting how our drinks would be served in a takeaway mug as they were closing in 30 mins. My wife and 3 year old son were moved from sitting outside as they were mopping up for closing and all the seats inside we stacked up. Nothing like feeling welcomed. If I was not being served I would have left it. Our relaxing 20 min coffee break was spent in the car!

The worst costa ever visited! It was 11am on my visit . There was no food (sandwiches, cakes or pastries) just a few pre packed biscuits. The place smelt of stale milk and the place could have done with a clean. Shall not visit again.

Since the opening of this Costa (I am a great fan of the Coffee Shop Chain), it has had its ups and downs of Highs to Lows and back. Prices are good (considering there are several other Cafes around it), food is good, service is a lot better than some of the others. Always packed and achieving a character all of its own. Be aware that prices of Coffee have increased and that some of the food items have increased too. Also, if you, like me, prefer Whole Milk in your Latte, then you MUST ask - or insist - because it would seem it is automatically assumed everyone wants Semiskimmed Milk. Costa Coffee has had many traditions in its rise to fame, though a few of these are now faded or gone.

Very short staffed, told company terrible to work for. Limited opening including closing at lunchtime there busiest period

The hygiene is disgusting we had a quick drink which was served in a take out cup and not a glass mug couldn't wait to get out staff are impolite too

I come here 3 times a week minimum and all the staff are always smiling and helpful and I always get a hot chocolate which is always just perfect, my daughter once dropped all her sweets on the floor and the woman who worked there was so quick to clean up and I tried to help but she refused honestly they are all always so polite and kind and all use their manners

Great selection of foods despite been lunch time? Another Costa at garforth almostvsold out at lunchtimes? Shop busy! Five in front of me but took 25 mins to get served considering a saw five staff? Two doing food packages in coolers 3 behind vounter? One of which clearing tables? (Two man job I thought for that) one could have done the cooler stocking? So very slow service, should workers go in for lunch, there lunch time would be virtually over by the time they get served so poor star rating I'm afraid? Good coffee it's only good point today! But almost left due to the wait?
