Our first time at the station and we were met with a very warm welcome from manager Chris.we ordered 2 of the £5 burgers absolutely delicious and exceptional value for money . Complements to the 👩‍🍳 👌

had a great visit we were welcomed by zoe at the bar who was professional courteous but really friendly and a great asset to this smashing little pub, we also food which was cooked to perfection by Zoe the chef and she certainly is a very competent cook and the meal was amazing value and good quality, in the words of Arnold Swarzenneger "I'll be back' thanks to the Zoes for putting with our 2nd rate dad jokes, you guys rock! 😎

I've been a local for over 30yrs but not anymore. The place has been in serious decline for over 3yrs now. The jukebox in the taproom can be heard thumping from home bargains and that's at 1 in the afternoon. Avoid at all costs in its present condition there are much better options in Cross gates.

When entering the pub all I could see was dirty tables and there was a dirty smell to the place, we sat at a table that we thought was clean to find it was all sticky. On finding a table that was sort of clean! I could just see the young lad who was working the bar just stood there literally doing nothing, I know it’s a local pub but if your going to sell food at least make sure the tables are clean. We went ahead and ordered food thinking maybe they have been really busy, all the time we was there they never cleaned one table when they was not even a customer to serve. I’m sorry but wow this place has gone done hill, dirty smelly and ignorant staff members.

After waiting for barrel to be changed for my guiness after 10 minutes I got a "settling pint" The attached picture is the finished article. Was waiting for a taxi so couldnt be bothered taking the drink back. Normally a half decent pub so will chalk it down to a one off.

Went in for a quick drink and watch a football game. Reasonable prices, pool table area and a few screens to watch the match. Volume turned low sometimes. Will re visit.

Spent a great day in the station We came in and first thing I noticed how busy it was. We got served quickly and the food was amazing. I had the hunters chicken and my friend had the steak and both perfect. We will be returning

Great selection of real ales in this pub. It rarely disappoints. Pizza deal which is good on a Monday and Thursday. Sunday dinner looks great but not tried it myself. Food a little pricey but well worth it.

Exceptional service and great food arriving in a timely manner. The bar man was very attentive and remembered the drinks we had, he was also very hard working and left us with a great experience at the station pub.

Came to The Station today for lunch and it was absolutely superb. I opted for the build your own burger as it's only £5 on a Wednesday, £6 for a double burger. I chose chicken strips, mozzarella sticks and curry sauce as my 3 toppers and it didn't disappoint! Absolutely lovely food, friendly staff and a bangin burger for the ridiculous price of £6! I highly recommend this place to anyone, especially on a Wednesday 👌 I'll be back that's for sure!

We had our Christmas Dinner here yesterday. The food was delicious, portions were huge, we were a big party and all came out efficient and hot. Well set up. Staff went above and beyond on their own Christmas too and the kids got a treat when we left. Would 100% recommend

I currently visit every 2 weeks with friends and family. The staff and the head chef (Zoe) were absolutely amazing. So welcoming, and they always go above and beyond to live up to their customers' requests. Don't forget, no spicy garnish! I'll burn my mouth ( again ).

If you like the smell of stale urine first thing on a morning and finding no soap in the gents toilets then visit this pub. We visited yesterday for the first time in a while and shocked to see how much it’s gone down hill. Leeds game was on so it was busy but we managed to get sat down in the back room and the staff looked like they were forced to be there and the drink itself was terrible and flat not enough staff on tables were left covered in glasses and plates for ages and not a good atmosphere would not go back again in a hurry

The chain owners are slowly but surely killing this place. 2 rooms each with their own unique atmosphere, Its like 2 different pubs! The 'food' room is where the entertainment is put on. Here's why the chain owners are killing it. The 'food' room has needed updating for a very long time. The main non 'drop screen' tv has a black stripe down it, for over a year hasn't been replaced. The owners have now stopped the Sunday night dj, just as a pub 3 minutes away (bigger pub, more screens for sport too) has started Sunday night entertainment!. The furniture is very very poor and dated, the chairs move from side to side when you sit on them!. Both rooms are extremely warm. Its The pub smacks of the owners taking the local's trade for granted. "They'll come in regardless". The staff by the way are generally fantastic, but, a lot of the locals are now looking around for a new 'local'. Be warned GK, you're going to empty the place. Respect your customers, or lose them.

An amazing local of mine, they’ve had a lot of decent events recently, especially the Micky mouse event where my friends with kids went down and had an amazing time! To say it’s a pub it’s nice that they had that for the children and involved everybody. I like the selection of drinks and love the menu, great variety and some nice deals! The staff are always so lovely, welcoming and down to earth. Happy to say I’ll always class it as my local and keep coming back!

Not exactly family friendly more suited to a adult environment. Quite small and narrow but they have a pool table, sell good quality and priced food and have a smoke garden round the side. Enjoyed my visit.

They should shut this place down! Horrible building and nothing but smashed glass everywhere around the pub since they don’t bother to stop people leaving the premises with bottles and glasses. This pub leaves a horrible image on the area as a whole. Clean up your mess and stop leaving the council piles of glass to clean up!
