What is the charge? peacefully eating a succulent Indian meal?!? - always a great choice, would recommend if your on the fence just try it.

Food taste ok but it's so small. The tiniest lamb chops I've ever seen. Chicken wings look like pigeon wings. Portion of rice was like 8 spoons. Salad was just onions and 4 thin shreds of lettuce. Everything looked bare minimum. Not ordering again.

We visited on a quiet night, so not much buzz in the restaurant, although that was made up for by the friendliness of the owner and the lovely food. Particularly impressed by the nans.

Although we’ve had great experience here before this time the sauce for the curry felt thin and lacked defined flavour, the aloo barjis were quite oily and the overall quality of the food seems to have dropped. This in combination with raised prices is an unfortunate result. While I would like to continue to support a local restaurant this experience left me regretting my choice, a real shame.

The food was hot and delivered on time - but huge shame the meat thali has changed - heavily reduced portions and very bland mix of currys!

I ordered pilu rice. not normal rice. . the free potato's I received was grossly greasy. . wasn't discussing but won't be ordering again.

It's closed forever.. my feeling is they started to economise on portions and lost their customers over a few years..

The masala wasn't as nice as usual...quite oily also both curry's were kind of bland. disappointed as usualy this is one of our fav takeaways

Didn't taste right. Too sweet, as if ketchup was used in the sauce.

Balti tasted like Ketchup had been use to bulk up the sauce or something. 2nd time in a row it's not tasted right, don't want to stop getting my weekly takeaway treat from here, but will have to if it's going to taste like this.

Ordered from here a few times from this restaurant - twice the delivery driver was so rude, another time my food was left on the door with no knock on the door/message to say it had been left out and the final time my order was cancelled 5 minutes before it was due to arrive (baring in mind I’d been waiting 45 minutes at this point!) Disappointed with the service and will never order from here again!

1st time ordering from here, the est delivery time was over an hour but I figured it was due to it being a restaurant. Took nearly 90 mins for food to arrive and even then my delivered items were wrong. Rang up and was told I'd have to wait upto 30 mins longer to be corrected. It came within 15 mins and the food was actually really good but I wasn't happy I had to warm my dishes up again due to waiting for my "wrong" items to be re delivered. Will stick to Jinnah in future.

waiting over an hour for delivery when did arrive was not our order called restaurant who said would send new order out still waiting over an hour later called restaurant rang twice then cut off tried calling back 40+ times constantly engaged. never again!!!

Soooo yummy! First time ordering and loved it 👍🏻 the butter chicken definitely wasn’t a butter chicken though - it tasted more like a tikka but still tasty!

The staff in the kitchen, delivery driver don't get any money that they are promised to be paid and are having a joke with them. They are very bad people and steal from there workers. They wont pay there staff and so they have to leave there job. There are some that had to leave as they promised to pay thousands but they didnt and they do this for all the staff. Dont support these awful people.

After getting an amazing take away we visited the restaurant on Sunday where we got a starter, main and naan each for £15. Waiter was really friendly and always making sure everything is fine. Food was beautiful and good portion sizes

Best around always a family favorite

On the off chance we phoned for a table on Eid and we got a table. Weve been here a couple of years ago and it was good food. Last nights food was amazing. The vindaloo was the hottest I've ever had. It was fabulous. Thank you.

won't be ordering from here again! ordered at 8pm didn't turn up till 10.45! saying driver broke down and would be about 15 mins! absolute joke food was cold and not cooked properly! definitely won't be ordering again!

The food was delicious, but it arrived over an hour after its original delivery slot, and then missed its second due date by a further 20mins. They were very apologetic and refunded £5, but we didn't end up eating until 2hrs after we originally ordered, and we had to microwave the food once it arrived because it was lukewarm. Like I said, delicious, but we won't be using them again, I'm afraid.

Absolutely amazing as always! The food is always high quality and full of flavour. Delivery was on time despite it being busy and the complimentary starter was very much appreciated! We always come go Nawaz for our Indian takeaway. You made a pregnant woman very happy and satisfied an intense craving!

I have ordered from here a lot and I have never had a bad experience. The food is excellent quality and at an affordable price. The delivery drivers are never late and are always polite and friendly when they deliver the food. Overall I would highly recommend Nawaz to anyone who enjoys a fresh, quality Indian I can’t rate high enough :)

Nice food, fast service & friendly staff

Used to order a lot from here however the last two times the medium curry I ordered has been that spicy it has gone in the bin. I decided to give Nawaz another go as it was one of my favourite places but not anymore. Will not be returning. Descriptions of food items and level of spice need to be more accurate as it was a waste of money. Disappointed.

Spur of the moment visit as we fancied a curry and was going to order a take out but just decided to pop in and so glad we did. The poppadoms and sauces helped prepare our taste buds. The staff are absolutely fantastic and laughed when we ordered two naan breads and convinced us to have one and we're so glad we did they were big enough to act as a king-size quilt. The starters were great and just perfectly sized to get your stomach ready. The main course came and it was as my mother asked very mild but managed to keep the perfect flavour and my Baltic was nicely spiced but still allowed the flavour of the rest of the ingredients to come through. The staff were perfect and we're very knowledgeable about the dishes. It maybe a very small place and doesn't have a alcohol license but it's absolutely excellent would highly recommend this to anyone who is thinking of having a curry just spend the extra few quid and pop in here for a lovely meal. Will be going back here soon

Just never got chicken in the Korma was just sauce . Waiting for refund . Very tasty food though .

sadly, the balti was not with anything like balti sauce. it tasted weird and sweet, like there was BBQ sauce in it or the sauce from baked beans. really disappointed.

I have no idea how this restaurant got a hold of my number but they have been absolutely spamming my phone with text messages. This is so unprofessional and dodgy, I'll make sure people know to steer clear.

The driver was very rude. He refused to come down the drive, then when he eventually did it took him 5 full minutes to walk from his car. It’s a 30 second walk

Lamb chops was nice! But the masala and bhuma was bland and watery! The Yoghurt sauce was like water aswell. New owners? Because they was never this bad!

First time ordering from here and won’t be ordering again!! Waited over 2 hours for the food to be cold. Called them after an hour to be told it was going to be 10-15 mins, called again to be told they had tried to ring as they didn’t have the kids meal but no phone rang! We ordered a lamb curry that was supposed to be medium to hot, tasted more like a stew as couldn’t taste no chilli/spices at all!

What a find! The tastiest treat for some weary travellers- a tiny restaurant with a magical chef. When we arrived there was a family enjoying a meal, the youngest of whom was eating a pizza from next door, a couple of students and people arranging a booking for their christmas party. My husband and I wanted to taste the whole menu but sadly our eyes were bigger than our bellies especially where the mega naan was concerned! Nawaz would be our new favourite curry house if it wasn't 3hours from home!

Ordered for delivery worth £45 curries very poor! All of them had the same odd taste. Family garlic nann not a family nann and again had an odd taste! Not sure if it was the garlic used seemed to have a bitter taste! Not at all worth the £45 we spent! Very poor quality

We had a good meal with family. The food was great - we were sorry we couldn't take leftovers away but no fridge in our hotel. Lovely big portions, great flavours and a friendly welcome.

I ordered lamb and garlic balti which was more like vindaloo. It was way too spicy. 5 mouthfuls and I couldn’t eat anymore plus the mint yogurt sauce was off. I spent £27 for a very disappointing meal.

Piping hot and fresh but the coconut taste was overpowering for my liking. I'll order the Asian style tikka masala next time. Thanks.

The food from here is consistently good, nowhere in the area compares to Nawaz. Staff are lovely, especially the Boss. Photo wall for insta pics is a bonus 😄 3 courses for £15 on Wednesdays and Sundays, absolute bargain 👍 Thank you boss- see you next time

Has really gone down hill since last year. Food was fine Service was shocking was thrown a takeaway box to put my own food in and there were ants constantly climbing up and down the wall Nawaz used to be a go to Indian unfortunately we will not be attending again

Been ordering from Nawaz for years and never had any issues, but I ordered a sizzling grill tonight and sadly some of the chicken was undercooked - disappointing as the food is usually impeccable from here.

A good local curry house is not a hard thing to find. But finding one that is consistently good is a true gem, rare thing worthy of support. The Nawaz is that gem. Have eaten many, many curries from them, and they have always been on point. Once they were badly late with delivery, but I didn't mind. Because the food is worth the wait. They offer a Special Thali (Meat) which is 4 random curries, rice, chapattis, a bit of salad, and yogurt dip. An absolute steal at £22. Don't know what you'll get when it arrives, but who cares. I trust them enough to know even curries picked at random by the chef will be good !

Absolutely fantastic, brilliant service and food

The food was nice but asked for keema and they sent chicken, I ate it anyone but would of been nice to get what I ordered.

We were moved twice. I found it somewhat amusing as our food and drinks were carried from one side of a small room to another and back again, but if you're an angry person or at all bothered about quality service in an East Leeds curry house you wouldn't like it. On a separate occasion a table full of gigantic people argued with each other over the bill and spilled food all over the floor. I quite liked the food. It was well put together and for the money pretty decent. The starters were adequate and everything was cooked to a good standard. They let you bring your own drinks which is very nice of them and sometimes the staff will stand over you, Dracula style, and watch you eat. I found this relaxing, but those of a more nervous disposition may not. The heating is set to a lovely 38 degrees Celsius and people waiting to eat are sat at a 90 degree angle to the rest of the place so they can stare at the front door.

The chicken korma curry was amazing and lovely thick sauce, but the prawn korma curry was watery and just was in coconut milk and that’s it
