Deliziosa in Leeds

Loved the food although a bit pricey. The service was very good but there was no atmosphere however I would recommend and would go again.

We called in one Thursday night in the hope of grabbing a table, and we were lucky. Arancini, spicy prawns and a beautiful carbonara were served promptly, and were absolutely lovely. A very smooth Montelpulciano and complementary Limoncino. the flavours were amazing, the service was careing and quick. We couldn't ask for more, it was like a little trip to Italy, right there.

Called in with my wife 2 sons and young grandson. It was a warm evening so dined out in the courtyard. We all enjoyed our meals and it was a really pleasant experience. Our first visit..we'll be back.

Very good Italian based menu but more than generic Italian fare. Pork chop with polenta and asparagus. Yum

My favourite place for reading books and seeking something sweet at night (they open till late). Italian hot chocolate and Cannoli were especially amazing!

Very disappointing meal out, probably the dullest menu and boring choice of pizzas I've ever seen in an Italian restaurant not to mention they forgot to add some of the ingredients to two of the ones we ordered.

We ate dinner here for my mum’s 80th birthday - a large party of 20. A wonderful find of a restaurant. Tony and his team couldn’t do enough to make the evening memorable for us. The service was exceptional and the food was absolutely delicious! My mum declared the lasagne to be the best she’s ever eaten, Thanks Deliziosa - we will 100% be back.

Best Pizza in Leeds. I've eaten at the restaurant as well as takeaway, both times were amazing! I'd only just returned from Italy before having takeaway here and this place is up to scratch. Great service, reasonable price and quality pizza. Forget any other pizza places in the Chapel A area (the one that begins with R). I will be back.

I met Tony in York in a chance encounter outside a pub, and he spoke about his eatery/salumeria with such enthusiasm. I promised to make a visit on my next trip through Leeds. My wife and I absolutely loved the food, the atmosphere and the service. We have recommended your restaurant to others and especially loved the warm welcome at the door. To add, the lemon cheesecake/ cannoli went down a treat today to extend our visit to two days! Thank you.

Small menu but great food. If you’re not a fan of cream filled westernised Italian food then go here. Minestrone soup was simple as it should be but just lovely. I’ll be going back.

The best Italian restaurant in town. Authentic cuisine, great atmosphere, excellent quality and a small library upstairs that allows you to work or organise small gatherings with the people you love.

1st time here at this lovely restaurant with my family and friends who I might add have never been before.Has you can see I’ve given the 3main areas to any good restaurant 5 stars.

Been to Deliziosa numerous amounts of times now and this time was just as great as always. Staff are lovely, food is delicious and the atmosphere is fantastic. I’m also trying to learn Italian which they listen to and try to help me.

We came last night as we saw they now have some vegan options which we thought was great. The pizzas were good. The bruschetta however was very dry, tasteless and overpriced. Ultimately it was just halved cherry tomatoes on bread without any seasoning/oil. This was disappointing. The service was fair but they forgot about our chips and we had to ask for them. The atmosphere was great as always, which is probably what would make us return rather than the food. It’s always cosy and in summer the outdoor area is beautiful and unlike any other restaurant in Chapel Allerton.

We had a lovely meal here this weekend, whilst visiting my sister who lives locally. The food was really, really nice, we'd highly recommend it. We all had starters, main course and desserts. The staff were very helpful and friendly. My sister suggested here as I'm a full-time wheelchair user, she has been before and knew it had wheelchair access and accessible toilet. We will definitely be back when we visit Leeds again.

We rented the upstairs for a family party, and it was amazing. A great space, fantastic food (Tony, the owner, arranged for a vegetarian and vegan buffet), and super friendly staff. Highly recommended.

I am not that enthusiastic about Italian cousine when I am outside of Italy, but I tried this restaurant and I felt home. The waitress was very kind and food was PERFECT. They made the most delicious original carbonara I ever had. Without cream. You must also try their polpette (meatballs). Best place ever. Believe me, I'm Italian.

Very friendly service, just popped in for a slice of pizza to go and it was delicious. Ended up with a cannoli and Sicilian biscuit too! Will have to the try the restaurant another time, it looked really nice.

such a cute place, first time ive ever been i got a warm welcome from the staff. The cafe is actually hidden at the back but when you walk in it looks like a take out only deli! I didnt get the food this time but the skinny iced latte i had was very nice. Very reasonable prices too, i will definitely be returning

We hired the upstairs area for an informal gathering of friends and family. Sarah couldn't have been more helpful in the run up and was very easy going about our requests. The hayloft is a lovely space and it was decorated beautifully. We ordered a couple of tagliere mistos, some rocket salads and lots of pizza, and everything went smoothly. The food was delicious and the service was excellent! We were around 20 adults and 13 children and the staff were on hand to take drinks orders all night and were very patient with us! Everyone had a lovely time and we can't thank the staff enough!

If you’re looking for great authentic italian food in an relaxing environment day or night this place is amazing. You will be greeted with a smile by Tony and his team they are so accommodating and friendly and really make you feel at home.

Got a takeout pizza and was very happy with it! Only thing I can suggest is that the dough for the crust was a bit too thick, but it was still great!

We had take away pizza from deliziosa al volo and the pizzas were very good. Cooked to perfection. Well done guys

We called in here at my daughters suggestion, and it was an excellent one. The staff were lovely, very helpful. We had a friendly waiter who had a good balance in attentiveness given how busy it was. The food was great - we had some picky eaters, the boys went for pizza. They are fussy about their pizzas but this was, apparently, up there as top notch in Leeds pizzas. I had fish, which was perfectly cooked, and my daughter had pasta. She is pescatarian and there was a good range of vegetarian and fish options for her. This was very busy, a weekend lunch service. We hadn’t booked and luckily they managed to accommodate us with a table, but I would recommend booking.

The cannoli are to die for !! I ordered the minestrone soup and was disappointed. It was a mush of peas beans lentils and carrots . I've had many Italian minestrone soups but none like this. My friend had meatballs which she said were under seasoned. The service was with a smile and the cannoli saved the day .

A nice place to sit inside or out, when it's sunny thanks to the conservatory like restaurant. A simple lunch menu. The staff were also lovely. Very mixed when it came to the lunch food though. My pizza was excellent, with generous helpings of prosciutto and the other ingredients. Unfortunately it was the opposite when it came to the chicken panini - warm bread, and salad(!), with a piece of cold chicken escalope (which was therefore damp) inside. It was not pleasant. The staff noticed my wife didn't eat hers, and, without asking, refunded it, which was great service. I'd go back again, only stick to the pizzas. Hopefully it was a one off problem.

Food was exquisite amazing dishes! Unfortunately the service was rather slow and interrupted. Food served no cutlery 30 minutes to get wine. Think they're refurbing the shop at the moment so not sure whether that's having any impact.

Food was great both times I visited . Staff couldn't really be bothered upstairs last time I visited. but I just don't tip when they don't make you feel welcome.

My friend and I had a great time last night in the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious.

Very nice quiet place with garden terrace. We stopped for coffe and some italian cake to remind our holiday in Italy. Coffe was nice, cannoli and pancake cake was tasty. It wasn't so authentic and fresh as in Italy but we enjoyed.

Re-evalution visit and five stars this time. Primo food, service and seating. Last time the staff were clueless but so glad to say the staff on this Sunday eve were perfect. And being able to choose where to sit made for a most special evening! The food was delicious and wine options excellent

Pop in for a coffee and we loved it, the plain croissant was delicious and the latte was just perfect.

Had a lovely meal here. The tabled we were seated at had a nice view. For drinks I ordered the delizioca cocktail, aperol spritz, and Primitivo. The cocktails were lovely, could’ve been stronger for my personal taste, the wine was excellent. To start I had the Arancino Classico. It was delicious, it didn’t even need the sauce it came with. My only issue was the plate it was served on was tiny, which made it awkward to eat. My partner’s mackerel salad was lovely as well. For main I had the carbonara. The reason we wanted to try Delicioza was because they make carbonara to the Italian recipe. It was lovely. My only complaint was that it needed more sauce, and was a bit claggy. My partner had the malloreddus. He liked it, but the pasta was slightly too al dente (and we love our pasta al dente) and the flavours needed a bit longer to come through. For a casual Sunday meal we had a lovely time. The service was very friendly, taking our food order was a little slow but that didn’t take away from the experience. We’re looking forward to our next visit.

Lovely hidden gem in Chapel Allerton with large outdoor seating area that feels a bit like dining in your back garden! Pizzas were very tasty and milkshakes a treat!

Absolutely brilliant food. Can get a little busy but that's a good sign! Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. The sun, wild flowers and bees in the garden make you think you're abroad.

Great find, we thought it was just a deli, but a lovely restaurant behind with music events on Fridays (start again in June) great atmosphere. Called in for brunch so couldn't take up the lunch menu but will certainly return. Only comment was my lovely panini was a bit cold in the middle.

Had a great experience today. The staff were so accommodating and the atmosphere is great. If it’s a sunny day this is such a great spot to have some lunch or just a quick coffee in their secluded garden. I will definitely be back here

Went to this restaurant for brunch after seeing it on Instagram, and for the first time I was more than happy. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and the friendly staff. The full English breakfast was amazing, the bacon was crispy, the sausages were juicy, and the eggs were cooked just right. Everything was so rich and flavorful. I can't wait to go back and try their dinner menu. The brunch was phenomenal, and I do not doubt that the rest of the menu will be just as impressive. I would highly recommend this place!

We called in for lunch and a chat - this is a hidden gem with great ambience. This is an excellent chilled Italian restaurant with perfect pizza - we had the veggie Ortolano, it was delicious. A good choice of drinks and great coffee. We were just having lunch today but the sweet cabinet looked amazing. The staff were lovely - professional, efficient and friendly. We sat upstairs which was really nice, the outdoor areas looked lovely too. Can’t wait to come back here

Table of 6, 40 minute wait between starter and main. Portion size of the pasta was like a starter if that! Brought 2 of the 6 mains out wrong, we then had to wait 15 minutes for the correct mains to be brought out. It’s a shame because this place looks so nice and have heard good things. The food was tasty but the service was slow, plates not cleared after eating etc. Won’t be rushing back I’m sorry to say.

What a find, great space hidden away from on the high street behind the deli. Impressive selection of cakes and food! I wanted to give it 5 stars but the cake, however lovely, was just too expensive. £9 for a coffee, cake and a tip. Most of the cakes seemed to be around the £4.50 mark.

Not great experience overall. Had table booked arrived and got sat down all ok. They never brought drinks menu and it was obvious it was too busy for the team to handle. We got our drinks after 40 minutes of being there. Our food order arrived almost 2 hrs late! the waiter was nowhere to be found. Rest of them were busy having a chat instead of checking how come our order was late. Even when the order arrived, it was the wrong one to begin with. We got an apology and £10 off bill but overall the service was bad. I would expect a 25% discount on the final bill considering how bad the service was. The food was tasty and value for money though hence the 2 stars.

Fantastic restaurant! Owner and manager are very welcoming, making sure you are looked after. Great service. Amazing food- minestrone and lasagna are staples you need to try! I had a private event booked on the first floor and everyone was pleased with service and food. Booking was very easy and all went smooth. I highly recommend deliziosa not only for amazing food but for the service they provide as well!

This is a fabulous Italian an inspired menu and delicious food. We sat upstairs in the converted barn and enjoyed the food immensely. All of the meals were excellent.

This is the kind of place that doesn't need a review because it's already very popular. If you go, try the mini canoli. NB, Unless there is a lift hidden somewhere, this isn't great for wheels, lots of steps everywhere.

Visited for breakfast on a Sunday morning, and service was efficient and friendly. Food was excellent and so were the staff who served our table. Would definitely recommend and visit again! :)
