Best Italian restaurant in Morley the food is great lovely atmosphere and friendly service the house white wine is spot on and the calzone pizza is amazing. The owner is a top bloke who has been running this restaurant for alot of years now and takes pride in his work. Great value food in a lovely restaurant.

Fantastic meal, best pizza I have had in a while. Lasagne also fab and starters great too! Big portions and great set meal deal!! Cannot recommend high enough

Visitamos sambuca regularmente con amigos y familiares un sábado por la noche, así que ir un domingo fue un cambio para nosotros . . mi primo quería reservar la mesa para 7 . 30 pero no pudieron hacerlo debido a que éramos un grupo grande de 16 así que preguntamos si las 6 pm estaban bien y podríamos pre-pedir toda nuestra comida y enviársela. . esto significaba que pudimos usar el menú temprano de madrugadores que tenía mucho para elegir. . algunos todavía pedidos del menú principal también. . estábamos sentados arriba y teníamos la habitación para nosotros con nuestro propio camarero / bar tierno que era genial. . él es muy amable y era muy servicial. . la habitación estaba un poco fría como hemos encontrado antes cuando se sentó allí pero se calentó a tiempo. . la comida se sacó a su debido tiempo y ninguno de nosotros tuvo que esperar demasiado tiempo. . todo estaba delicioso como siempre está en Sambuca y buenos tamaños de porción. . no tuvimos nuestros chupitos de limoncello habituales al final, pero todo lo demás estaba bien y funcionó sin problemas... incluso trajeron un postre de cumpleaños con una vela y cantaron feliz cumpleaños a mi hija prima, que era encantador.

Food was OK but I am a blue badge holder and misread the sign so parked at the side of the restaurant receiving a fine of £100, a very expensive lunch. You cannot park near the place during the day as tempestate use it ,only in the evening can sambuca customers use it and I cannot walk very well so I shall not be visiting again

I've visited this restaurant twice now. It's a lovely place,food is delicious,service is spot on and it's clean. The only complaint I have is the seating arrangements. We visited last night,a family of 8 for a birthday but we were seated in long rows ,the birthday girl was on the end,it's difficult to engage with all family members when your sat in rows. Round tables or even square would be better instead of rows.

Cosy little Italian restaurant tucked off the side the main pedestrian precinct. Usually a sandwich board to let you know its there and advertising the early bird two course offer. Not a great deal of vegetarian options, but they are delicious and the portions are generous. Inside was very tidy and clean and the staff were polite and professional. Food still delicious with pleasant, polite and professional staff. Currently running an offer at lunchtime for main and a drink for £10.95.

This is a great place. Brought partner and friends and all loved it and can't believe they'd not been before. Tasty hot food. Good portion size . We were all stuffed after and great atmosphere and nice and full with people. Will be going again.

Always a lovely time when we come here. We had the Early Bird menu which is fantastic value for money and has lots of choice. Book a table if you're planning on coming, because it's been packed every time we've been.

Disgusted . We made a reservation online , all confirmed and received email I did think we were lucky to get a table at 10pm but if it wasn’t available shouldn’t have allowed us to book . We arrived and the staff said we are closed . I showed them my reservation and they just laughed and said we are closed . Won’t be returning

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, the Chicken Picante I ordered at nearly £12 didn’t come with any sides so I was just served a chicken breast on a plate with just a sauce over it. Other places I have ordered the same dish from always comes with a the option of either a salad or vegetables so this was disappointing.

Nice atmosphere, good choice of food would be nice if there was a lager on draft instead of just bottled. Very kid friendly though

Nos encanta Sambuca bajo - clave, ambiente relajado y sabrosa, a un precio razonable comida italiana, que es aún más razonable cuando se utiliza el menú de oferta disponible 'temprano - pájaro' durante la semana y todo el día domingo. La comida sambuca siempre está muy bien presentada, caliente y abundante (y estarán encantados de proporcionar cajas para llevar a casa las sobras). Hay una gran variedad de platos de pasta y pizzas, así como carne, pescado y opciones a la parrilla. Las porciones siempre son grandes, sea cual sea el plato que elija. Por lo general, también hay una opción de 2 o 3 especiales por curso. Hay una buena selección de cervezas y licores y el vino tiene un precio razonable. El servicio es brillante y el personal y el auténtico ambiente italiano es siempre cálido y acogedor. Recientemente hemos estado dos veces como una fiesta de 5. Been a couple of times. The early bird menu is excellent value for money. The portions were generous and all five members of the party thoroughly enjoyed their choice. It was one of the party's birthday and the restaurant gave us all a free drink and said they would have provided a cake if they had known. The bottle of wine we chose, a merlot, was very good and at a great price. The service was excellent. We would all recommend and certainly will be going again sometime in the future.

Wanted a special meal as we are moving from Morley tomorrow. Couldn't fault the food. My husbands steak was amazing and my duo of fish was sublime. Atmosphere was great and staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for making our last might in Morley one to remember.

Lovely evening at Sambuca. We pre-booked our table and it was busy so glad we did. Good atmosphere, just enough background noise so could still enjoy a conversation. Service was great, we were greeted and seated quickly. They were attentive and polite and gave us a freebie limoncello at the end of the meal which was appreciated. The food was all reasonably priced and there was a good selection on the main menu and specials. We had a calzone, which was enormous and worth every penny, delicious and we had a spinach tortellini which was lovely as well. Would recommend and will be back.

Just not up to usual standard. We asked for a bottle of house rose, were given a bottle of blush! The waitress was argumentative about this. There was a 45 minute delay between starters being cleared n mains arriving. One dish was cold and my dish was very watery. We’re were never offered desserts and coffee. And our plates were never cleared. Been loads of times before and it’s been great but not this time!

Went here with family for Sunday lunch glad we did as the food was spot on proper Italian. Had calamari and garlic pizza bread for starter main had fillet wife had spaghetti carbonara kids had pizzas. Everything fantastic

We have had another great evening here. The food was brilliant, Cocktail Di Gamberetti was lovely, the prawns were very tasty and lots of them. The Tagliatelle Al Salmone was also lovely, good sized portion and also very tasty. The staff are great and nothing is too much trouble for them. We cant wait to go again

Went before my daughters 18th with my wife and daughter. Had a fabulous meal first time we have been here. The food was amazing, and the service was perfect. We will definitely be going back.

Great service from a lovely team of people. They "fitted us in" as a family of three adults and two children for an evening meal on Wednesday evening just as they were preparing to close their kitchen. The staff were attentive but not pushy, the food was great, everyone enjoyed their meals and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We will back.

Decided to treat ourselves to a meal out on Christmas Eve, we have not been to Sambuca for awhile, it was the right time as there were not too many people in, food was good, service was good , yes, the prices had increased and it was Christmas Eve, so that was to be expected, the downside was, instead of the normal background music, it was a radio station playing Christmas Music and the constant adverts, 😀 which got very boring in-between songs but overall it was a pleasant evening

Sambuca is a place where you can eat very well, I am surprised how delicious the food is. Inside it is very clean, nice and cozy. The music is not too loud, so you can talk easily, the radio is perfectly matched to the venue! The prices are adequate to the dishes, the dishes are presented beautifully and are very filling, you can eat a lot just from the starter. The people who work here are very nice, I recommend them wholeheartedly.

Poor service could not get a drink order correct not once but twice. Waited ages to order food and drinks. Risotto was hard and tasteless just like a tub had been added to rice. It wasn’t over busy either when we arrived

Lovely food as always, can't fault it. The only downside is on the past few occasions we've been the waiter taking the orders was miserable and not very welcoming!

Booked a table for 10 for a special occasion. Morley Sambuca . No I disable toilets and not disable parking. Some of the people in our party ordered 4 garlic mushrooms, not nice at all, mushrooms were hard, no taste just tasted like water , watery undercooked. 2 didn’t get eaten and the other to pass them around the table so others could try we all said it was nasty. Wasn’t eatable the lady came to my table and said is everything okay we explained about the mushroom and all she said okay!! Which was rude and not good customer service. Then when the bill was ready, the bill was hand written that was very hard to understand! So we was trying to figure out the bill, whilst we was trying to understand the bill, a very very rude unprofessional man wearing a white shirt who worked at the restaurant, came over to our table shouted at us saying, I NEED THE TABLE, YOU NEED TO LEAVE!!! made a scene all of the restaurant looked at us. Like he did something wrong! Then he came over again and said it to us even louder and ruder. And our bill was just over £250. We all was so annoyed, we just paid and walked out!! I have never been spoken to like that in a restaurant before! I have been to the Sambuca in Armley and that is much better atmosphere better vibes, better food, music entertainment. NEVER GOING TO MORLEY SAMBUCA AGAIN!!!! 1/10 I would absolutely not recommend this restaurant to nobody!!

Beautiful meal for my 30th birthday! There were 20 of us so we pre ordered which I sent by email so that was easy Staff were all so accommodating, friendly and welcoming! Even when my grandma spilled her own drink, the owner (I’m assuming) replaced it for her though it was no fault of his! As we were seated upstairs for a larger party, the upstairs bar was opened for us which gave us our own private bar! Once we all arrived we were asked if we were ready and the starters came out within about 15 minutes, all lovely and fresh. The mains followed and were all delicious, the portions were brilliant there’s no way you can leave hungry from the early bird offer! Kids portions were still nice and big so you don’t need to worry about ordering extras for the littlies (or granny as well in our case!) I hate faffing around with the bill at the end of a meal so I got everyone to send us their money once they sent me their order - this meant I paid the food bill at once and then everyone sorted their drinks at the bar so there was no confusion when it came to paying the bill and no needing 7 different cards / some paying cash etc! We all brought a couple £ for the tip Thank you so much, we hope to be back soon!

Just awful! Horrible food, rude staff and hair in my food. If you go to Morley for a meal out I’d recommend Wetherspoons, unlike sambucas they know what a risotto is!!

Anyone with Coeliac Disease - DO NOT EAT HERE! Having eaten at the Shipley branch of Sambuca many times with no concerns, as they will prepare any meals that are required to be gluten free to order with small adjustments such as the removal of wheat flour to sauces (they use as a thickener) So as usual when eating out I made sure to tell the staff that I required a gluten free meal. Always an awkward moment for someone with coeliac disease as all eyes are on you. As always I had the same starter and main (because I’d had no problems before and never risk anything new or I’ve not tested due to the sensitivity of my coeliac) I was assured that these dishes did not contain gluten so ordered away. The man taking the order was quite dismissive when I questioned how they thicken the sauce. Of course he knows best, I mean he works there and would obviously tell the kitchen?! Sadly this wasn’t the case as unfortunately the adverse side effects to consuming gluten for someone with Coeliac struck a couple of hours after leaving and lasted long into the night. Details not required! You’d think nowadays places would be more careful but evidently not. Whilst I’m aware they don’t advertise to be gluten free there is an expectation when you purposely tell them your dietary requirements that they at least attempt to meet your needs. I’ll be sticking to the Shipley branch from now on as at least they make the effort to avoid any issues and consider the seriousness of cross contamination and the ingredients they use to thicken sauces.

First time there and will no be going back sorry £21 for just my meal and I got a plate of pepper corn sauce and a bit of steak in the middle not even cooked I no were in a living crisis but come on

Ordered the sea food meal it came the whole plate was swimming in oil the potatoes can't swim the sea food may have enjoyed it but i didn't. When i mentioned it the waitress she didn't seem too bothered, English not the first language here in this business Been many times before i guess new chef this time and smaller portions for same price. Morley has many good other places to eat this was not for me.

Nice atmosphere, but food not great. Garlic mushrooms watery and not very creamy or garlicky, pizza a bit soft in the middle, drinks very expensive.
