The best restaurants serving Default food in Cross Gates and Whinmoor Leeds Yorkshire and The Humber

This was literally the last fast food place we would use as it’s clean enough, the food is reasonable and it’s usually quick despite being overpriced crap. It’s been going down hill a while, but this visit we waited for an order that after 15 minutes still hadn’t been prepared despite other customers, who ordered after us, being served first. The frankly gormless staff were completely indifferent and made no effort to acknowledge the delay. When we abandoned the idea we were actually get any food and asked for a refund, it was processed incorrectly twice, adding another 5 minutes, with no apology or explanation for the hold-up. There’s a decent chippy and a butty shop close by, both substantially cheaper with fresh food that are independently run. We’ll be spending our money there from now on.

We got breakfast from here as we work in an office nearby and it is the best breakfast sandwiches in crossgates! Would 100% recommend.

This is a BIG Wetherspoons with all the classic favourites. The staff are lovely, and it's ideally placed for those who need a pint or meal after exploring the stores and sights in Leeds city.

Shocking customer service woman on the phone was beyond rude when I rang to say that there were things missing from my order she tried to say she doesn’t have my adress on system and I had “called the wrong place” even though I clicked call restaurant on uber. was no help at all ended up not receiving the food and no refund either. Would recommend avoiding!

Incredible experience here, most friendly, jolly member of staff called vazid who's customer service was exceptional.

The member of staff could not be bothered moving I asked for all the bones to be put into bags. They put the bags on top of the product did not bother packet them. When I pick the box up the box was open. The bonds fell out they didn’t offer to change. Basically we could not be bothered

Had no Gravy, Krushem's or Boneless fillets, but took shy of £60 order and didn't even have the decency to ring me to say the items were not available. Wouldnt refund my money even though I paid this store. Was told to go online to obtain a refund as the store can not issue refunds. Surprise surprise went on their website, and entered all the relevant information that took me to a screen that said to contact Care Squad. Clicked the link but was in a never-ending loop that takes me to the main screen of their website. Had to initiate a refund through my bank and I'm now lodging a complaint with trading standards and KFC's head office. The staff were unhelpful and appallingly rude.
