Food was absolutely disgusting! Will never ever order from here again

Recently ordered some Chinese food not good quality rice noodles chicken black bean not fresh dint taste tasty and over priced more onions then enything eles

Always takes ages to come well over the time give we Used to absolutely love this Chinese but for the last 6/7 months something's always missing and they always we give next time if I wanted it on my next order I'd order it on my next order the staff are unsympathetic and think sorry every time cuts it well it doesn't u have upped the prices no rewards unless massive order and then they forget things on the order which I don't understand how as they have to read the receipt and check so how it's every order consecutive is ridiculous at this point I think I'll stop ordering and find another Chinese

I have been a regular customer at this Chinese restaurant for two years. Unfortunately, one staff member's consistently rude and aggressive on the phone. The restaurant is family-run, but the management should address this issue promptly to prevent it from impacting their business. Food is ok but she sours the taste.

OK food better than some places

Bad customer service woman was rude on the phone and as I was still speaking put the phone down on me just because I asked to pay extra at the door for salt and pepper chips which has never been a problem done this loads of times before. I always ask for them well done too when it came I knew there was something gonna be wrong with the order with how she was, chips were cold and soggy like they had been re heated and been left for ages. I spent £35 and got treated horribly she needs teaching some hospitality skills other wise she will loose custom like she has done with me.

Just ordered from this place for the 2 time and the food is just delicious. Fresh cooked and so tasty. Great size dishes The pecking ribs I would Recommend:) Ordered a chow main and noodle box both great. Thanks nice meal

Nice looking place but don’t be deceived !! Ordered a special pineapple but the dish was filled with raw onions and a small portion of slimey prawns,very tough beef and weird tasting pork…worst in Leeds try harder !!

Had takeaways for years from here but stopped a while back because it just wasn’t the same. Decided to give it another try and was just as disappointed. No taste to any of the dishes I’d ordered. House special curry was more of an anaemic onion curry. Deep fried peking spicy chicken was soggy and not spicy. None of it was particularly nice at all. Have learned my lesson now!

Great customer service. Ordered off Just Eat and they contacted me to confirm which ingredients I wanted removing out of my dishes

Chicken wings nice and crispy! Love them like that. But the rice had an unusual taste to it. But not in a bad way. Its the first time I've had Thai fried rice. The tasty hot kick made up for the slight blandness of it. Very nice.

By law ingredients have to be listed for every dish. They don’t. Just received an order full of chillis and it didn’t state them in the ingredients. When I rang the woman on the phone was extremely rude, patronising and started arguing with me, literally shouting at me over the phone. Disgusting. Unprofessional and out of order

Decided to give China House a try always order special curry with fried rice and sweet and sour battered chicken balls.This was the blandest curry that we have ever tried it was like a gravy.Our son had the sweet and sour which he said didn't taste good either.Was expecting better for the price.Will not be going back.

Just had a take away delivered as I do most weeks bloke started handing me it and said £16.50 I told hi. I had paid and he got back in car got my phone went back out and he passed me it with out looking at phone it tells him on back it’s paid for and if I’d not been in my husband would of paid again not happy at all

Shocking service put there prices up you still have to wait1hour and 25 mins for a delivery no apology

Ordered here a few times and food is always tasty and hot, just be prepared to wait a while for delivery especially when they are busy.

Had food this evening this was awful, chips were like a week old and cold the food was awful and expensive too, also the order was wrong. I’ll never use this again 😡

First time I have been here. Food was nice. Spicy and filling. Just needed a bit more meat in the hot box noodles.

LOVE LOVE LOVE! It might seem a little expensive sometimes compared to other Chinese takeaways and it might take a lot longer to arrive than advertised (because it's so popular!) but the food is so worth it! It's amazing food and the portion sizes are big, big enough to share with a few of you or to have extra for the day after!

Lovely food always very quick for delivery, I felt bad for the staff around Christmas they took some punishment, maybe best to not take in so much orders to keep on track,

Waited over 2 hours for cold food and it took over half an hour to be able to get through to the restaurant on the phone. Will use a different restaurant in future.

ordered food Christmas eve at 7pm was told food would arrive by 8.20pm food never arrived called restaurant several times no answer just eat tried to call several times no answer so i cancelled the order and got full refund from just eat.then i got a knock on my door after 10pm the food turned up.i turned it away having cancelled it over an hour ago. wont be using again

Food ordered 3 hours ago and still not arrived. The phone was busy when trying to contact them. Never ordering from here again.

Beyond appalling....nearly 2 hours from order to delivery. Gordon Ramsay should sign them up for Kitchen nightmares!!

Wouldn't recommend this to anyone! Wouldn't usually get a Chinese from here but our usual wasn't open so we decided to try somewhere different but I wish we didn't! Delivery was over an hour too. Noodles was so dry and had no flavour to them. The chips was scratty. The chicken looked like it still had life in it. Disgusting. Will never be ordering from here again.

Highly avoid as sent food was wrong and then resent it wrong again and when challenged argued over it wont be ordering again slack !!!

Absolutely diabolical service. Arrived an hour late, tried ringing from 2 numbers and after we got through and complained they blocked both numbers. They said driver had left yet we still had to wait another 30 mins. Never will order again.

Cold gunge. Wanted duck in orange sauce. Got duck in a soggy batter and congealed orange sauce. Never again.

Absolutely lovely food evey part of the meal nice and warm also very tasty highy recommend beautiful food also good delivery time really enjoyed thank you china house 👌🏼

Tried to order meal during lockdown, but was directed to Just Eat, who said that they were closed, but they were not, my normal order costs £7.00, but I had to spend a minimum of £14.00 with another take chosen for me by Just Eat, the prawn toast, was missing from he starter, never again will I order from Just Eat !!!

Iv been using china house for quite some time but the last 6 or 7 times my food has been delivered 20+ Mins late. Each time I order food I have to ring and ask where my food is and I get no explanation. Since there are about 20 Chinese take out places near me China House have lost a customer this time.

Food came early but somehow still managed to be cold, ordered a duck and lemon sauce main which was inedible and smelt like dog food, whole meal was wasted will never use again

Waited almost 2 hours for food, couldnt get through to them constantly engaged I had to get in my car and head to the shop, which then my mum managed to get through to them and they didnt even apologise just left the phone and said 'it's on its way' quite rude, been here a few times never again, ridiculous waiting all that time and not even answering the phone for half an hour.

Based just around the corner from where I grew up this takeaway is a great place to grab some food for the evening. Relatively busy, typically more so at weekends but a nice place to grab some food!

I use this Chinese all the time, the food is lovely. I love the large pancake rolls!!! The delivery is quick and the staff are all lovely.

Had takeaway few time from here and always has been excellent.

First time using this place.... will be the last prawn toast was over cooked and full grease. Chips was re-heated and fried rice was stale. Curry sauce wasn't nice either. Food is very cheap to make and I find it disappointing to be charged for poor quality! I hope the £20 you robbed of me serves you well 👌

2nd time from here fresh and tasty good portions. Different dishes each time and all nice. Delivery was before the time said good service all round

I ordered Special Sweet & Sour Cantonese Style at 5pm opening time. It tasted fresh and was beyond delicious. Prepared and delivered in under half an hour and so it was still hot when it arrived. I think China House is a lot better than it's competition. (The delivery guys employed there all look smart and clean... If that matters. It does to me)

Disgusting never again raw meat. Prawn where swimming around my noodles. Curry and chips where the only half decent.

My favourite Chinese takeaway in the local area having tried a fair few. Always enjoy the food from here, especially the spring rolls and spicy chicken. Portions are very generous. Only downside is delivery can take a little while at peak times.
