KFC Leeds - Coal Road in Leeds

Worst KFC experience ever! I used table service as I was with young children but it didn’t come. I went to the counter and saw my food on a tray. The member of staff behind the counter turned her back after seeing me. I politely asked “excuse me, is this mine?”. She responded in an aggressive tone “Take it!” I then asked “sorry, I thought it was table service?” She replied in an even more aggressive tone “We’re busy!” I couldn’t believe it. When I returned to my table after being shouted at I realised we were missing a drink. I didn’t dare go and request it in fear of being shouted at again by KFC staff in front of my children. This member of staff should never work with members of the public if this is how she behaves. It felt even worse given I was with my children. So sad and unfortunate.

My son dropped £20 today in KFC, didn’t realise it was gone until he was home. Came back an hour later and some saint had handed it in to the staff. Faith in humanity restored! Thank you whoever you are!

I would recommend going through the drive-through as it is quicker than going inside. I waited 20mins for food when I wanted to eat-in even though I was the only person inside waiting. Staff busy with delivery orders so we had to wait which is ridiculous.

Proper small, staff are rude sometimes. Drive Thru and delivery are quick. Sometimes items are missing

Boneless banquet meal was shocking. Batter wasn't even crispy, was soft. Plus £10 for a 3 piece chicken meal is robbery especially when chicken is soggy. Exactly the reason I don't eat fast food much anymore, just don't care what the quality is

This was literally the last fast food place we were still going to as it’s clean enough, the food is reasonable and it’s usually quick despite being overpriced crap. It’s been going down hill a while, but this visit we waited for an order that after 15 minutes still hadn’t been prepared despite other customers, who ordered after us, being served first. The frankly gormless staff were completely indifferent and made no effort to acknowledge the delay. When we abandoned the idea we would actually get any food and asked for a refund, it was processed incorrectly twice, adding another 5 minutes, with no apology or explanation for the hold-up. There’s a decent chippy and a butty shop close by, both substantially cheaper with fresh food that are independently run. We’ll be spending our money there from now on.

I order the zinger burger meal, the chicken was perfectly crispy and fresh. Customer service was really good, staff was well professional and efficient, got my food in 5 to 7 minutes. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. I had a great time there, I’m looking forward to visit again and definitely recommend everyone.

Very very poor KFC. Ordered on the website (app would not log in for either of us), drive through staff then wanted payment again. After holding up 4 cars behind us due to the long wait, the food arrived. Chicken was clap cold. Chips were cold & way too much salt. The gravy was warm at best. Only the bottle of Pepsi Max was good. Absolute waste of £23. Next time we'll go to Colton or Crossgates. Shocking for a restaurant to be this bad in 2025.

Absolutely Fantastic. It's a rare treat to eat at a take-away rather than, y'know, take it away. The food was excellent, service was great, and there was a guy in front of us who looked like Benson Boone! Result!

Ordered a bargain bucket with 6 pieces. The 6 pieces consisted of 5 wingbits and 1 drum stick. Rubbish selection and didn't feed the 3 adults sharing. 15 quid too!

I go to this place quite often with my friends on drive thru, really quick service, team members know their job and providing good service. Higly recommend this place if you're in a rush to grab quick food.

My chicken was dry and burnt they put the gravy inside the bucket which then leaked all over the chicken. The chips was cold cost my £25 and was a waste of money couldn’t eat it

Don’t order from here , ordered some food for delivery and paid £50 and all we got one about £5 worth of food , it was all missing and when trying to phone the shop they put the phone down about 5 times. Save your money.

Food was great. It's a self order and service. So service is none existent. Was busy due to ninja warrior place over the road. Bins inside were over flowing. This down to all staff behind the counter. Poor hygiene in male toilets. To the point kids we advised to use disabled toilet. Also not to touch anything that they didn't need to.

Just got a 10 piece family feast from the KFC at Whinmoor. The server didn’t speak English try well and mumbled wasn’t sure what he was saying, seem very ignorant. When I got home and open the bucket I found 6 of the 10 pieces were drum sticks ! 3rd time that’s happened soon as I looked in the bucket I then remembered why I haven’t been back there in well over a year. The large side of beans came as 2 small beans both dry and one only half full. I don’t know for sure but two small sides beans don’t look to add up to a large side to me. The chicken coating was very dry and hard like it had been cooked and reheated in the fryer. Chips and coleslaw were ok. So once I saw what my £22.99 had got me I tried calling the “restaurant “ to complain, every time I rung they put the phone down on me without answering I tried it 15 times ! I know what you might be thinking if it was really busy the might not have time to answer. When I was in there their was only one or two customers that had already been served no one waiting.

Got 2 Trilogy Box Meals. Service was terrible. Food was cold as was left on the side whilst they went elsewhere and waited for other bits of food to come out. Gravy had been watered down and was tasteless. Did not enjoy at all. Stay clear of Seacroft Coal Road KFC.

Kentucky Fried Pigeon. The pieces were so small and not cooked very well. We have had better. Need to up their game.

The app doesn’t allow you to pick the drive through option anymore even though the Drive through is still there and operating. The problem with this is that you have to take out your phone when you get there and click check in as if you were in the restaurant and then the drive through staff won’t give you your food at the drive through counter but will ask you to park and wait until they bring you out the food…

Ordered through the kfc app received only half of the order....

Ordered through KFC app, order arrived 1h later, the food was cold and half the order missing. I rang the phone number provided for customer services, waited for 1h to get through to a person, offered a refund for the items that were missing and then put the phone down while I was telling him how terrible the service has been overall for today’s order - obviously couldn’t be bothered listening to my concerns. You also have to check your order even when you personally go to KFC as the staff doesn’t seem to be able to read a receipt and fulfill an order.

The best chicken I have tasted for a long time....... juicy, succulent and tasty.... The only thing that annoyed me was that we paid extra for 8 hot wings and on returning home discovered that we had only received 4.....Not happy but not worth a 20 minute round trip for 4 hot wings...

Ordered through uber eats tonight was charged for 2 gravy none arrived when I phoned them to complain they said they haven't got any and they replaced it with corn on the cob .1 thing I don't like corn and another if I had known there was no gravy I wouldn't have placed a order and should be off there menus

The Krushem machine is out of order 80% of the time.

I had a fantastic experience at KFC! The burgers were juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The menu offers a great variety, catering to different tastes, and the portions are generous.

Nice KFC but the travels definitely need cleaning when customers leave. Was not busy yet tables still had trays on them.

Staff didn’t want to take my order at the till. Not coming here again. Waste of my time and money. KFC sort your stores out, not everyone wants to use self serve. Not great business practice

Went to order at the till, got told to use self serve. I said I would like a person to take my order. They refused. I walked out. Total disgrace. Many of my friends have had similar experiences I've been informed. I suggest you don't replace people with machines or you would loose alot of business. I won't be returning . Rude staff and a total disrespect. Went to a small independent instead. They were happy to take my £40

My elderly parents voluntarily clear around your seacroft branch 2-3, times per week and we're made to feel embarrassed asking for a drink in the seacroft branch . You should be ashamed of yourselves for doing this . You probably don't care but they are just trying to keep the area clean. disgraceful service

Staff very rude, ordered a party bucket and when I got home realised they missed a couple of items one being large popcorn chicken. Rang up and spoke to the manager Victoria who did not apologise and said just come and pick the rest of the order up. Very poor people skills. She wasn’t apologetic. How she is a manager. God knows

Like most other KFC, hot tasty chicken. Newish building easy access. Best when there's no delivery drivers waiting!

Really its not a nice customers service

The cleanliness of this KFC is SO poor! Been here a few times and noticed nearly every table needed a really good wipe down. The tables and seats are covered in gravy and chicken bones, not to mention the floor has dirty tissues and remnants of chicken batter. I’d say hire more staff to amend the issue but I’ve been in when the restaurant has been dead and the staff have used it as their opportunity to gossip rather than making it look presentable. Shame as I’ve never had an issue with the food itself here but it definitely doesn’t make me want to eat in anymore!

Absolutely disgusting kfc. The tables are filthy when hardly any customers and the toilets omg the smell is horrific and very offensive don’t think there’s ever been a cleaning product near the place. Smells of blocked drains and urine especially the ladies. Asked them to clean the tables as almost everyone was dirty guy on counter said in a min and so far hasn’t done so. Every time I have ordered from here it’s either been badly cooked or the order had been wrong. On complaining today about the chips been missing from the meal I was not even offered a sorry. Victoria the server who answered the phone was dismissive and rude. This is definitely the last time I will ever use KFC seacroft it’s service and food quality is diabolical backed up by arrogant poorly trained staff.

Great fast service and happy colleague when serving

Staff are not bad and the food here is generally OK. I've had a few orders where the chicken didn't taste fresh or had a funny taste which to me felt like old reused oil was used to prepare the chicken. In fairness, I've had this at another KFC before so I'd put this down as an area for improvement. I'd still visit.

Horribly kfc to go to I walked in and there was kfc gravy and chicken bones all over the tables and there was orange tango on the floor and 9 year old screaming in the toilet and marking werid noise that you would hear in the bed room

Don't order on just eat for delivery if there's anything missing you're screwed ..you might get a refund a week later but you won't get any food.. and the bit of the order we did get was cold ..even the can of pop was wrong ..dire

I paid 20pieces chicken wings but they just gave us 19pcs.Last time we ordered 20pcs but they gave us 18pcs Please make sure with your counting cuz customers paid the right amount.

Tried the different dishes here, but they are not as good as other KFC outlets.Normally, whatever you get is way too far dried out, and that means it's been there for too long. Last week, when I was there, it was very dirty. The floors had not been swept for some hours.

The staff ignored me for a good 15-20 minutes while my order had been ready. They called out my order number and when I went to the counter Noone took my receipt to pass me my order!

We had different options from coal road kfc through just eat. Been concerned for the last few orders being too salty. Tonight my lips tingled with the amount of salt. Hubby said never order from kfc again! Used to be our favourite takeaway not anymore

my grandparents ordered a bucket meal for 1. instead they gave them a boneless banquet which only had 3 peices of chicken some popcorn chicken and a small bag of chips. They got charged 20 quid for 2 of them and mine got charged extra for a drink.

Awful attitude from the drive through staff member. Manners cost nothing & mean a lot. Why work there if you hate it so much?

So went to this restaurant for some dinner, we went through the drive through. The food came out hot but we were short a few items, we got coleslaw nothing to eat it with, no napkins. Was nt asked if we wanted sauces. Just sloppy services could have been good with a little more concentration, a little less chat.

the food outlet is located at a very strategic location with lots of parking space. Ideal for those who want a breath of fresh air . Outside tables available good for smokers too. A must visit

Went there had very little to eat but was at 11.00pm. Been before and was OK.

There is a really nice atmosphere amongst the staff which is shown in the way they deal with the customers. We've never had a bad meal here and visit quite regularly.

I frequent this place and have never had any concerns about cleanliness, either with the food or the employees, until now. Today was different, and I was shocked to see one specific worker (possibly someone new) constantly touching his face and hair before handling food. Luckily, someone else prepared my order, or else I would have canceled it on the spot. KFC, you really need to provide proper training, especially for those new to the food service industry!

Nice KFC, plenty of parking and drive thru if u prefer. Fairly quick service off standard menu. A good number of self order machine as well as counter. Very clean when I visited.

Use this KFC quite a lot but today 2 people ordered in front of me in the drive through Waited 15 minutes then when they bought my meal was cold. I asked them to please give me hot food. I waited a few more minutes checked the food again still cold so they basically gave me the same meal back. The man that served me didn’t give a dam. I couldn’t wait any longer so got home and ate my cold food.

Food is always nice but they’ve got my order wrong on 3 separate occasions now - have moved to the KFC in Colton as my local now 😅 for the price of the food you’d expect a correct order at least once.

It is user friendly and clean. Self-service units have been repositioned along the entrance passageway and you can also order online. Customer service is good. The free WiFi is erratic so do not depend on it. Sometimes, there is an average 6 to 10 minutes. The drive-through is faster. The colonel's original chicken 🐔 recipe still tastes great. The rice-box is mwah. The fizzy drinks are limited, you get Pepsi and no Coca-Cola. Sides on offer include maize cobs, fries, coleslaw and even ice-cream. Prices across the chicken 🐔 range have crept upwards so your bargain bucket will cost slightly more. Even your spicy chicken wings are a mean £1.99 for two tiny bites. This eatery has improved much since its opening a few years ago. Parking on site is adequate. It is sometimes a bit hard pulling open the door when the automatic button for wheelchair entry is malfunctioning. Keep it up.

Shocking customer service, spoke to a member of staff who smirked in my face after waiting 20 minutes for food. Manager seemed to think he had seen the situation and didn’t listen to the customer which is shocking. As far as customer service goes this was poor and the manager needs training on how to approach situations even if they think it’s acceptable to say they were clapping because they completed a burger which means the whole staff can clap… makes complete sense to me. Who ever runs this needs to sort it out.

Bought a 6 piece bargain bucket for £13.99. What a waste of money. 6 pieces of chicken????.... I've seen more meat on a sparrow. Didn't even get a decent selection of chicken as it included 4 very small legs. Very disappointed overall.

Rubbish and not worth the money. Oder was wrong especially for my son who has allergies! Nothing provides for takeout such as cutlery napkins etc. just small things but helpful with kids. First and last time at kfc drivethru. Went to McDonald’s to get the kids that was actually suitable for them

This is the slowest KFC I've EVER used. I don't know what was going on with the order for the car in front but it took 25 minutes before they finally got to move off. When it finally came to my turn, neither of us could hear each other very well because of the heavy rain and having to talk through that tiny window. I confirmed my order and then was asked for my payment. He reached out with the card reader device but the lead it was on was ridiculously short and I couldn't reach it with my Apple Watch (my usual method of payment) as it was on my left wrist. So I had to fumble around with my phone instead. When the payment was made, the guy at the window had the cheek to say something about "coming prepared" next time before shutting the window and starting to count out the pieces. That was quite ironic, considering that they could have used the time from ordering to the customer reaching the window to prepare the order! Besides that, since when was it a service worker's job to dispense snarky unwanted 'advice'? Who the hell does he think he is? The food was average for KFC, I've no particular complaints there. It wasn't super hot, although it wasn't cold either. I mention this because if they'd had to make a whole new batch fresh, which may have explained the delay with the previous customer, the pieces would have been hotter. But they weren't, so that rules out that excuse. If you like KFC food in general, like I do, I'd strongly recommend avoiding this branch and going to any of the other ones within a few miles of here. I have tried to cut this branch some slack previously as it was once a fairly new branch and I put the poor management down to teething troubles, but they have learned nothing over the years and the only way anyone is ever going to pay attention is to report bad service. Oh, he didn't even bother to put the tissue and wipes in the bag either.

It's a fast food joint. It's OK.
