Disgusting food 🤮 cold, sausage had a weird texture, and tasted cheap as hell, chips tasted reheated in a microwave and soggy, all went in the bin, bread cake came like they had just ripped open with there hands, the sauces were ok, I'd never order from here again and if your here reading the reviews I'd not bother

First time at Whingate Fisheries even though I've wanted to go for a very long time. Came here with my family, ordered the normal fish and chips. Portion size was really good for what you pay. The curry sauce from here tasted too yummy. we would definitely go again, especially when we're craving fish and chips.

Honestly wouldn’t even give it a star it was horrendous everything was cold apart from the chips but they tasted like they were reheated in a microwave I got fish n chips curry sauce n a bread cake fish was soggy n greasy n eating it made me feel physically sick chips were mank bread cake was hard n my curry sauce was cold. My girlfriend got chips “battered sausage” and gravy. The chips were the same the “battered sausage” was the worse thing I’ve ever seen in my life and again the gravy was flat cold. To top it off my gf found a black short beard looking hair in her chips which is funny cos I have brown hair n she’s blond so that’s discussing. When I got a call to say he was at my door I stood at the door for 10 mins for him then to ring me and say “where are you I’m stood at your door!” In an aggressive tone I’m sorry there was 3 people in the car my address was in the order how many people does it take to get it right if your planning on ordering from here check my pictures n u will probz change your mind and if your reading this from the “restaurant“ since I can’t do it through just eat for some reason with ur “restaurant” I would like to file for a full refund so get back to me thank you.

Wouldn't order from here again. My scallops were SWAMPED IN GREASE & chips scrappy & hard & inedible. The only thing I ate was the sausage & mushy peas because they were all that was edible. Felt stodgy & sick afterwards too Thev

The worst takeaway in Leeds - cold food and a hair in my chips

Wouldn't even give this a star ordered 2 fish and chips and when they arrived every single chip in both portions were burnt to a crisp and when I called to complain this is apparently because they buy black potatoes or something even if that is the case it is wrong an the food they serve is disgusting I wouldn't send my worst enemy here

Good service, good value , when I requested crisp light batter they did just that and it was tasty cridp and light.They also made a lovely gesture to me last Sunday evening 22.8.2021 .Well done and Thank You 🙂

I called 4 weeks ago and got a mixed kebab that was absolutely red rotten, the kebab meat resembled something that had been scraped out of the bottom of the fryer and there was even a random hard chip thrown in for good measure, To make it even worse I had to wait over 20 minutes for it, I will certainly not be calling back for seconds any time soon

Really good value for money! Plus it's open later than most chippies which is a bonus when you're after a late night fix!

When my order arrived it was missing my daughters kids meal. The chips and sausages were lukewarm at best and the cheeseburger was inedible.

Firstly, it took over a hour. I could have walked the 6mile there ,ordered and walked back home by the time it took for them to bring me my cold food. The food was poor, cheap but overpriced and wrong on arrival. Won't be ordering again. Dutty...

No pre prepared food even fries said i had to wait over 15 minutes, trove of children sat inside when the law says masks had to be worn, no kids with masks on, all of them blocking entrance to shop with their push bikes, staff uninterested.

I been going for a long time food and servie always been good never had a problem

First it was 50 minutes late, turns up, they refuse to give me a refund after spending nearly a tenner on my food, then when it comes, the kebab was dry, chips are flat cold and the curry sauce is thick. I’m so annoyed with how my food has turned out.
