I was a chef in the Army for a long time and this was the best tasting value for money in Withernsea, I have tried every where in Withernsea that provides breakfast!

What a great find. Affordable varied and vegetarian meals. Real craft Ales. Very friendly.

Egg mayo...forget the egg as it was hardly present- all sloppy mayo! So upset as was hungry and from previous purchases thought I'd be happy. I wasn't.

We came here today as was passing through. This was the best decision of the day. There was four of us. Two of our party were elderly. 88 and 90 years old. Access into the property was easy and the space between tables was fantastic as you don't feel you are being crammed in. The 90 year old headed straight for the toilet and was so impressed with the cleanliness of the toilet that was his talking point for the first 5 minutes. We ordered from the Sunday roast menu and had the 3 meat one. The quality and the quantity of food (all very good) was the next discussion. The lady who served us was called Jean. This lady was so nice, polite, helpful and experienced that it made everything go smoothly. They then had puddings and thoroughly enjoyed them. This has made their day and are so happy that we came across you.. Keep up the absolutely fantastic work and we will return soon.

DO NOT GO. We went here on Friday 7th march for my mum's birthday. My mum had rang 3 times to make sure they had her table booked for the window,this was apparently booked!! We arrived and no table was booked for us so they had to put us a table together and squash 7 of us on it. Before we arrived I went to take a suprise birthday cake to come out after our meal with candle aswel as a bottle of prosecco to be on the table when we arrived ( non of this happened). The food tasted like baby food and we had to keep shouting over the waiters to take the bowls and plates away after serving ourselves as there was no room on the table. They gave my 3 years old nephew a pint glass!! And charged the same price for an orange cordial as a Fanta orange !! My son had chicken nuggets and asked for tomato ketchup but it was pickle ketchup when we looked on the bottle,my son couldn't eat his food but they tried still putting it on our bill even thou they took the full plate of food away! Then my mum and step dad went outside for a smoke and one of the workers started moving there table away and clearing it with a new table cloth for someone else waiting for a table !! Absolutely shocking shocking shocking service I've never ever experienced anything like it. Then when we asked the waiter to bring out her birthday cake with candles and sparkler he pulled out the cake from under the counter still in the un opened box and linked it at the side of my mum ( it was meant to be a suprise ) We ended up taking the cake home and doing it ourselves,we all left very very stressed out and deflated. Please avoid.

Girls lovely there food is good

Went to this ice cream parlour for ice cream it was absolutely disgusting for scoops of ice cream 12 pound 50 including one chocolate log the ice cream taste very bitty I complained to the girl who said her father owns the place she even tested the ice cream herself and said it was tasteless when I complained about the ice cream attitude stunk she said well at least you've eaten it I don't know how she could see as she was very far away I asked for a rebate but I knew I would not get anywhere she took our phone number and said her father would ring as expected he did not the ice cream that was saying it was fresh cream was a total abomination I would not recommend anybody to go and where's their money

Beautifully decorated tearoom and immaculately clean. Visited with my cousin for Afternoon tea which needs to be pre booked. It was absolutely delicious and very large. 4 different sandwiches, a small prawn cocktail, sausage roll and a piece of quiche were on the savoury platter. The sweet treat’s included a scone with jam and cream, berries, a macaroon, coconut cake, a slice of cake and a lovely meringue topped with cream and berries - it was so big that we ended taking large doggie bags home to happy husbands. Unlimited tea or coffee included in the price. The lady who served us was lovely and very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking available at the front and back of the tea room. Would recommend booking as not overly large but there is outdoor seating when the weather is better. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning.

1st time here today 20/1/25 Absolutely great staff made so welcome thank you We ordered 2 large breakfast all i can say was absolutely delicious highly recommended nice hot and tasty food asked for eggs runny came as I asked Ordered 2 Lattee coffees came nice and hot would go again thank you ladies for your help disabled couple asked for drinks to be brought over no problem at all We will definitely be back Thank You Yvonne and Pete XX

Delivery took a lot longer than stated (nearly an hour late) When we rang to chase it the lady on the telephone didn’t even no where it was but eventually told us it was out for delivery. My mum ordered tandoori mixed grill which she said was very dry and luke warm. Curry was nice though.

Thankfully, we’d booked a table for Sunday Carvery as they were turning people away while we were there. Lovely touch was providing “bits” for your dog if you ask the carver. Very tasty carvery, only grumble we could say was that the food wasn’t piping hot but Luke warm… Lovely staff,, lovely location , lovely carvery…… lovely interior…….. outside could do with a “freshen up” or a lick of paint… Enjoyed our visit…

We called in for a drink.Never again the locals continually threw abuse at each other even the barmaid joined in.We drank up quickly and left the atmosphere is toxic.
