Beautifully decorated tearoom and immaculately clean. Visited with my cousin for Afternoon tea which needs to be pre booked. It was absolutely delicious and very large. 4 different sandwiches, a small prawn cocktail, sausage roll and a piece of quiche were on the savoury platter. The sweet treat’s included a scone with jam and cream, berries, a macaroon, coconut cake, a slice of cake and a lovely meringue topped with cream and berries - it was so big that we ended taking large doggie bags home to happy husbands. Unlimited tea or coffee included in the price. The lady who served us was lovely and very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking available at the front and back of the tea room. Would recommend booking as not overly large but there is outdoor seating when the weather is better. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning.

Stopped off for lunch. Food was nice, had sandwiches and were nice and fresh. Lady that served us was quite rude, seemed like she didn’t want to be there so would think twice about going again.

What a beautiful tearoom. The decor is absolutely beautiful and the hand painting ceiling takes it to another level. Quality furnishings and outstanding food and the desserts are too good to miss. The staff are welcoming and very friendly. I will definitely return and will tell everyone I know about it. A wonderful experience.

Worst dryest toughest bacon sandwich. Avoid. Everything was on the pricey side, which is fine if the food is good. I think £8.50 for a baked potato with beans. I've done a separate review for the coffee and internal decor. The person who cooked this, sorry but they are totally unaware of how to cook bacon, dear me it was terrible. ALL the fat totally trimmed, and the loin, cooked to death, seared and totally dried out the grill or griddle base. The loin needs less cooking than the streaky end, but pressing the loin onto the direct heat for ages does not work! . I am happy to show you how to cook it. I almost said when ordering, don't trim all the fat off, but thought better of it as they must know that people who actually want zero fat ask for all the fat trimmed. Those other majority of us who order a bacon sandwich expect slices of bacon.......which come with fat!!!!!! And not so mush these days. The bacon was as tough and dry as biltong, just awful, ruined. The lack of cooking skill was the problem, a good sandwich ruined. I wouldn't return, except for coffee only.

An excellent place to break your journey on your way to Spurn Head and the East Coast. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The hand painted walls and ceiling are captivating.

Stopped in here for lunch whilst walking. Cafe spotless with nice views. Had a posh coffee , usual price, not cheap but good coffee and jacket potato (generous filling) then a fresh scone jam and cream. Ladies behind till were delightful. One her first day but very patient with my discount card and whatnot. Could do with a bit of music or radio whilst waiting. Overall good visit.
