The coffee was really nice served by lovely ladies. It is a dog friendly cafe both inside and out.

After a lovely walk in the woods it’s nice to have the clock tower cafe to relax in and enjoy a cappuccino with a scone

Absolutely awful. No menus on the tables, big queue and no opportunity to correct your order if you make a mistake without having to go to the back of the queue. Not happy at all.

Unreal. Shocking service. ~45 minutes for 2 bacon sandwiches and four coffees. Under staffed. If this was a commercial enterprise I expect the service would be much slicker. Lovely staff all the same.

Really reasonable pricing and food was lovely. Had a delicious falafel burger as a daily special, and the wedges were very good, with quick hot food delivery Outside seating great on sunny day with lots of flowers. Service was quite slow, especially hot drinks, and they'd run out of sandwiches. Also indoors was lacking decor - just white walls, no pictures.

Has one side as dog friendly with plenty of space. Cakes seamed to be shop bought rather then made but hot drinks nice enough.

Me and my partner came here on a Thursday morning. Service was good, friendly staff. I got a bacon sandwich on a white bread cake ( had brown bread option available) & had a pot of tea (got 2 full cups out of the pot) my partner got a toasted teacake and a cappuccino.

We were in need of refreshments when visiting the zoo and the cafe was exactly what we needed. Simple selection but friendly and quick service.

Popped into the cafe for coffee and cake as it was raining. Understandably very busy. Poor selection of food suitable for vegans. Had a piece of delicious vegan carrot cake and coffee with oat milk. Poor selection for main meals.

This place succeeds because there is no competition here. The food is boring, the service is glaciel, it doesn't function efficiently. The guy behind the counter was so helpful and friendly it actually crossed over into being a hindrance to good service, just stop over explaining and offering multiple options it's not necessary. Queued for 15 minutes, waited 30 minutes for food to arrive. What complicated delicacy took such lengthy preparation? A bowl of soup and a serving of wedges!!

The Clock Tower cafe tastes like 1973, with a soulless menu of palid processed garbage. Such a shame in an otherwise lovely venue.

Wanted a nice coffee somewhere and found this place on the map, what a great little find!! Set by the lake with indoor and outdoor seating, great menu, quality food and generous with the portions. We had coffees and full English brekkie and veggie brekkie. Top recommendation, great place and friendly staff.

Very nice burgers...very nice people serving, just very small space can only fit 3 in and if anymore come in there it's a very small and tight space

The food is usually excellent but sadly Sunday lunch was a complete let down. The beef was nice but that’s all. The pork was dry, the lamb was inedible. Just a pile of fat and gristle that didn’t even look appealing. We waited until the waiter took our sharer board away, which was hardly touched, to mention our disappointment but he didn’t ask if we enjoyed our meal. Nobody asked while we were eating. As we paid, we were not asked if we enjoyed our lunch. It seems nobody cares at Tomahawk. It gives me no pleasure writing a negative review as the food is usually excellent but today was awful.

Cold coffee, which was a real shame as the majority of breakfast was really quite nice. We will be here for breakfast again when we next stay. Staff were friendly.
