Over 3 hours for our takeaway and still waiting now! App says 45 minutes! Absolutely disgraceful. Rude staff, no apology or anything. They don't care and just say "we are busy". CHANGE THE DELIVERY TIME ON YOUR APP THEN TO REFLECT THE ACTUAL TIME IT TAKES TO DELIVER! Useless pricks. Will not be ordering again!

This place is one of our go to places. The food is great quality although portions can differ for the grill food with sometimes a lot of chicken and other times lots of chips and less chicken. I only wish it was more consistent. Will order again!

Had an awful order last week where the pizza was tipped upside down and took over 2 hours to come and we rang up and spoke to the manager who was lovely and very apologetic and said next time we order we have a credit of £30, even though our order was £23.50. Called up tonight to place this order and when asked to confirm the credit, the guy on the phone, who claimed to be the owner, said no you have £23.50 credit. He was raising his voice down the phone with an arrogant tone and being very rude and would not listen to what I was trying to say. Absoloutely disgusting service. As a person who works in customer service this is not acceptable. We’ve used this takeaway for many years but now after this encounter, never again.

Ordered tonight for the first time told them I would be a brand new customer and I order all of the time. Tonight was my first order ever once again I told them I would order from them all of the time several times a week. I only asked for two things, number one please can you send me x2 menus, and I could pay for the phone for my food over the phone. Driver turned up said my food was not paid for when it was I had to then stop collecting my food from him and ring the shop to confirm this, after that I said where are my menus I asked for two menus no menus whatsoever in the order. This is obviously a sign of a business owner, NOT listening to the customer first of all insulted by suggesting I've not paid for the food when I have the reason I asked for two menus is because I would have put the other one up at my business premises for all customers to see. I now cannot do that because my customers may experience the same initial treatment as me when they suggest I have not paid for the food when I have, it is a very very basic request to ask for a menu, the reason I did ask for menus it's because they're online website was not working. anyway that is that first order could have spent maybe £200 a week with this outlet, but if you get insulted on your doorstep suggesting you have not paid when you clearly have and they do not send the menus obviously it's pointless dealing with a business like this. It is a shame for them I will now Go elsewhere. I don't appreciate for one second being told at my doorstep I have not paid for the food and then when I am asking for menus to look online for items for sale and they do not send them there's nothing else I can do when a customer is asking you please send me a menu and you do not send it you only have yourself to blame so you will have no repeat orders and no advertisement from my business to potential other customers because of there was no menus sent. I was recommended this business to me from a customer today obviously it was a mistake. In life when there is a problem right from the start then that is a sign that's how it will carry on in the future. Please listen to your customers if they ask for menus please send it, if they have paid tell the delivery driver they have paid, it's very simple and very easy otherwise you will not get any new customers or no repeat customers I should not even have to mention this. I will not order again because of this experience.

On delivery the food was cold, coleslaw not homemade chips totally inedible

I always leave an honest review and tonight is no difference. usually express grill is outstanding and that's why we return. however tonight wasn't a good night. I collected my order which wasn't ready on time. fair enough. however during my wait lots of different orders were stacked up on the side, boxes constantly being opened/closed releasing the heat as they lost track of what was what. got my order home - pizzas were luke warm and chewy. bit disappointed tonight unfortunately

The constant changing hands of different staff makes a massive difference to product result and understandably food costs are higher but I was happy to pay 11 quid for a gourmet burger but they now have 3 small pieces of chicken and the medium fried are now small portion . It’s just not worth the price anymore ! Such a shame 🙁

I have used these guys for a while now but unfortunately, their prices increase while quality decreases. Especially with pizzas which were fantastic but now have very little topping - tonight was the final straw. Next to no donor meat and when you lift the layer of cheese, you see how poor the topping actually is. Im unsure as to whether we will be reordering from Express anymore will return to our previous takeaway.

What's the point of choosing your own toppings if theyre not gonna be acknowledged? Chose and paid for 4 cheese topings because I wanted extra cheese but just got a normal cheese pizza. Chose and paid for extra beef and extra ham but got the normal amount. Not happy.

Bit disappointed tonight. Pizza was okay but the chicken kebab was tasteless and bland even the garlic sauce didn’t improve the flavour

Pizzas and chips were spot on as always. ordered for collection as delivery can take ages from previous experience. I arrived on time and had around 10-15 mins to wait. I assume this is because I had opted to pay cash on collection so they didn't start cooking my food til I got there, which makes sense I suppose. We always enjoy our food from express grill, and meal deal 1 is our go to. feeds 3 of us well👍🏻

Our pizza was perfect, not greasy at all. The fries could've done with a bit more chip spice but overall very good meal.

Ordered 7:30 to be told it would be delivered at 8:30. At 8:30 received the notification to say it was on its way by 9pm it hadn’t arrived so I contacted justeat to be told I would be contacted by the restaurant within 10 minutes this didn’t happen. The order eventually arrived at 9:30 the chips were cold and awful and the wraps barely warm.

Pizzas are always delicious. The bases and cheese are lovely. Wraps and kebabs are also superb. Best chips around! Staff always friendly 👍🏻

Third time in the last 3 weeks .. a plus Tonight the bases of the pizza and spicy tomato bread were hard, crispy and chewy....nothing like the previous twice. Topping was fine. The chicken wrap kebab was fine. Hot physically on an early arrival.but disappointed outcome for the eat.

Ordered two kebabs, one with no onions or tomato. Came with just lettuce that was slightly brown and a few pickles on top. The second came with lettuce one thick peace of cucumber and one slice of tomato. Both pita breads were at the bottom of the chicken covered in grease and juice and not even bothered to cut them open. They were soaking and soggy so couldn’t make a kebab. Wont be ordering again

Almost unbelievable how quick these guys deliver sometimes (almost before ive ordered it 🙂 ) and its also top notch grub.

The JUST EAT app gives the option to leave a note to the delivery driver. Unfortunately there is no point doing so in this case since the driver either can't be bothered to or just simply can not read. He rang the door bell on the main entrance when in my note I clearly required, using short words only, to CALL me when he gets here. I only rent part of the property and highly doubt ExpressGrillHouse is ready to accommodate me while they have all the education fees to cover forthe reading lessons

Family treat after little win on the national 😁 tried the mixed BBQ grill salad chips and sauces loved it just managed to get through half of it as it's class and huge daughter got mixed kebab she s loving it but it's a challenge as huge , great value very tasty son and partner having pizza fries and salad and loving it xx 👍👍

It’s understandable takeaways are on the receiving end of higher outgoings with food price hike but scrimping on ingredients is hitting the customer .paid for an expensive basically cheese swamped pizza to hide the lack of actual meats. Not sure if under new management ? Just not worth the expense when same price as dominoes now !

Beautiful Pizza Gourmet Burger is not a gourmet burger. Minimal chicken. Probably half a fillet if that. Item description definately needs revising. More lettuce and onion than chicken. Fries had american salt on. Why does every take away shop assume we all lile paprika and cake the chips in it? Id order a pizza again but that it.
