Food, service and atmosphere all positively pawsome! Would recommend to all human and their furry friends.

My son and I stumbled upon this caféfeeling tired and hungry after our house move. I was amazed by the cheerful and interesting new owners and the lovely decor. It was immaculate and yet extremely homely. We ordered the vegetarian breakfast which Jamie Oliver would have been proud of. Beautiful. The self effacing new owners were so obviously master cooks and artists as well. I can't wait to go back. Cafés can often be over priced, complacent and a bit tired. Not this one. I would highly recommend a visit to lift the spirits and experience beautiful food.

Was passing thought would give them a go first time,had chip teacake was fresh and great tasting chips will be calling in today for something not sure,but will try something different

Rhiannon is, simply put, the goddess of cheese. This girl really knows her onions...or cheese. She is extremely knowledgeable about her products and can describe every cheese, she knows the provenance of each things she sources, and is very competitively priced, even against the supermarkets. My husband loves her packs of salami, coppa and lardo, and he is a fussy Italian! The shop is a local delight to visit and her lunchtime baguettes are legendary, people queue out of the door for them! Long may she reign. English Breakfast, Burgers, Sandwiches, Toasties, other Hot Meals. this cafe has the lot. Quick service and great food and very reasonable prices. Sit by the market and watch the world go by . What more could you ask for?

What a lovely pub and really friendly staff. Made to feel welcome and nothing was too my hto ask. Thankyou for a lovely evening. Even tried the Yorkshire curry....who would of thought a curry in a Yorkshire pudding?? Amazing.

Just wow! I can’t believe we have only just found this place! It is an absolute gem! We had private dining for my 50th birthday and it was perfect in every way! We had the tasting menu which was absolutely delicious l. Every course was a delight and our guests (who are all foodies) all commented on how wonderful it was. The table was beautifully decorated and the service was impeccable and the team were so friendly and accommodating. I loved the fact we could take our own playlist and they moved the table out after dinner so we could have a dance floor! It really could not have been any better and we wouldn’t go anywhere else if we had another celebration meal to plan! . Thank you so much Gimbals for making our night so perfect x

Veg takeaway order had very dark blue squid ink sac in it that stained mouth. Called and they said that squid arrives to them prepared which begs the question where on earth did it come from then. Disappointing and disgusting experience - perhaps a comedian chef thought it funny to put one in a veg order - guess we'll never know. Contamination issue and no longer trusted/ used.

Not for me Lacked any atmosphere A big table filled with boxes and paperwork and a worker sat there on a laptop it looks scruffy the stairs to the toilet needed a clean then on next set of stairs full of clutter not restaurant standards Food My sister said her burger was lovely My other sister and I had steak left a lot of it chewed on plate as to tough it was overly seasoned and tasted like there was curry in the seasoning also the pepper corn sauce tasted of curry sauce and the chips we all was so disappointed with the chips they were not fresh hand cut chips a lot of them were green not crispy None of the food was fresh or really hot I suspect cooked previously and just warmed through very disappointed maybe we went on the wrong night but all in all I would say wetherspoon standard on a bad day

nice foods the chips portion is shocking does not fill half the box

The Navigation on the Rush bearing festival is absolutely packed. Staff work fast and friendly and courteously despite huge pressures and a multitude of thirsty customers. The pub itself has a quite traditional interior and is tucked away down a small road off the beaten track. But it's worth making a detour. Even better is making the short walk along the canal from the canal basin.
