Great stop off for coffee & cake. The cheesecake was gorgeous. Mustard is a lovely & convenient place to meet up. Just on the High Street with lots of parking nearby.

Dropped into Mustard today during a short visit to Sowerby bridge. We're really glad we did. The coffee was great as were the snacks we had and we weren't charged an arm and a leg as can sometimes happen. The guy running the place was very friendly and talked a little about his business. It's quite new and a one man band at the moment. The place is dog friendly and I was happy to support the business. We'll be back.

Lovely deli with lots of choice! We used to visit when I was a sit in restaurant and loved it so we jumped at the chance to order the Valentine’s Day box. Lovely fresh ingredients, easy cooking instructions and really well thought out - it resulted in a lovely delicious meal. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into the box and a lot of time into prepping the meal. We will definitely look out for more boxes in future. It was a perfect treat. Whilst I was picking up the box I grabbed a few bits for lunch - good selection of wraps and a sausage roll to die for. I also grabbed some cheese whilst I was there and there were plenty of cheeses so choose from, all seeming to be good quality. A lovely gem in sowerby bridge and we will definitely be back!

Awful. Limited food choice and what there was, was not great. A small piece of raspberry cake thing - rock hard and inedible. Not much choice and smallest cappuccino ever. Decided to take out cheeses from the deli bit in the hope this was better - all cut with same knife despite one being a soft cheese, micropore tape in the wrist of the man serving and no gloves worn at all throughout while ordering if food and cheese cutting. Will not be going back!

I'd heard good things about this restaurant - turns out they were all true. The food was inventive and absolutely delicious (we chose the pigs cheek starter, stone bass en paupiette main and the Guinness sticky toffee pudding and nettle cuajada desserts. Good choice of wines and the service was great. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to visit again.

Food was inventive and something totally different. Modern food with a lovely twist, very small intimate setting and doesn’t get the praise it deserves. Could do with some more social media pushes! Will be back 100%. Hidden gem in the area

A gastronomic hidden gem in Sowerby Bridge. Small and intimate with friendly service, but the food is the star! Would thoroughly recommend.

This is an excellent restaurant. It’s food and service is on a par with any top, big city restaurant. If you try it, you’ll definitely go back for more.

A lovely traditional pub steeped in local history that for the last few years has suffered from a revolving door of short lived landlords without a clue. What a refreshing change then to see that the Hinch' has finally got new landlords (Oct2024) who clearly know how to run a pub. Within a short period of time they have successfully managed to breathe new life into what had become a tired and soulless place to eat and drink. On the two occasions we've been since the Hinch reopened we've been super impressed with the food. In fact the cheese and onion pie might well be the best pie l've tasted in the Calder Valley (or ever!) and the flavourful and plentiful Sunday Roast offering was a cut above your usual pub ‘roast’ offering. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the food if you’re looking for somewhere to eat - especially when it comes without the hassle of parking in Hebden Bridge. On each occasion we’ve been, the Hinch was busy with drinkers and diners which is great to see. The trade off is you've only got the choice of Manchester owners JW Lees’ own branded mystery beer offerings. Forget the craft-ale revolution, or the fact that Vocation brewery is literally 5 mins away, the solitary guest beer offering here is San Miguel. I guess you can't have everything, but at least the food and atmosphere more than makes up for it!

My mum had her 70th Birthday party here. Absolutely spot on! We had all the left hand side of the pub allocated to us which was ample room for our party. Staff were great, buffet party food was excellent and plenty of it. We all had a lovely time. Big thank you to all the staff x
