Rhiannon is, simply put, the goddess of cheese. This girl really knows her onions...or cheese. She is extremely knowledgeable about her products and can describe every cheese, she knows the provenance of each things she sources, and is very competitively priced, even against the supermarkets. My husband loves her packs of salami, coppa and lardo, and he is a fussy Italian! The shop is a local delight to visit and her lunchtime baguettes are legendary, people queue out of the door for them! Long may she reign. The photos are of one of Cork & Rind's cheese board deals and a plate of pasta with Cork & Rind's parmesan on top.

Can’t recommend highly enough. Amazing cheese, always a great variety that changes on a regular basis. Always a lovely selection of wine at very reasonable prices. Love that there’s so much local produce. I won’t go anywhere else to buy cheese. I literally drive from Manchester to stock up. A beautiful, cosy shop with a lovely owner who is super helpful and knows her stuff!

The best wine and cheese shop in all the land! Cork & Rind have the most amazing selection of cheeses and some really tasty treats. Great for gift ideas too. I can’t wait to go back and try something else! Staff are super friendly and helpful too.

We ordered a 'cheese' cake for Christmas and the selection was amazing. We enjoyed every single one of them. I like to pop in when passing to sample the great wine selection too and I would highly recommend their fresh sandwiches at lunchtime. Its a beautiful shop and Rhiannon who owns it is so lovely and helpful.

Absolutely gorgeous shop, a very welcome and much needed addition to the town! Rhiannon is absolutely lovely and so welcoming. Even when my little girl decided to just sit herself down in the middle of the store and take off her wellies 🙃 Rhiannon didn't bat an eyelid - she told her to get comfy and when she was ready, Rhiannon helped her pick (and let her sample) some lovely cheeses! The range of products are great, and it's so lovely to see that Rhiannon also sells produce from other local small businesses 🥰 Rhiannon works hard to meet your needs and requirements- whether it's recommending products based on your preferences, putting hampers together for special occasions or creating beautiful 'cheese cakes. Oh, and let's talk about the sandwiches. These just aren't any old sandwiches, these are GLORIOUS. Such lovely flavours, and also the opportunity to create your own!

Booked in advance for a breakfast ahead of attending a football match at The Shay. Less than 10 mins on foot to the ground. Cafe was smartly turned out inside and the bar area led out to a pleasant and colourful courtyard. The staff were friendly and attentive. Even though I'd pre-ordered, my breakfast was cooked freshly. The first sip of the accompanying latte was beautiful. The bacon was thick and tasty, the sausage was local farm produce standard. Three sausages and three rashers too. Portobello mushroom and grilled tomato completed the ensemble, save for the tastiest grilled chorizo sausage I've ever tasted outside of Spain. Toasted sourdough bread and butter completed experience. Reasonably and fairly priced too, I will be back the next time I am in the area. Thanks all at Urban Garden Kitchen and Bar!

Bobs tearoom is always marvellous. Very beautiful walk to get there no matter where you come from and the drinks and cakes are always well worth the walk. A local hidden gem.
