English Breakfast, Burgers, Sandwiches, Toasties, other Hot Meals. this cafe has the lot. Quick service and great food and very reasonable prices. Sit by the market and watch the world go by . What more could you ask for?

An actual, proper, friendly local. Love this place. Not because it's awesome or game changing. But because it's old school and genuine. We bring the dog, and the kids. They love it. Super friendly and genuine. The food is great, pub grub before the gastropub was a thing. Burger night, pie night, fish supper night. Priced right (and I'm a tight northerner) Kids meals are home made. Lad (5) got the chicken goujons. They are proper chicken breast strips dipped in egg, breadcrumbs and fried. Waiter (barman? he did it all very well) said "yeah, we make everything" Low key. Heartwarming. Lovely.

Wow just wow amazing taster menu this evening thanks to chef David and all his amazing team. David has amazing business sense he is careful to deliver everything he offers with superb skill and outstanding quality. Whether the delicatessen business or the pop up taster menu ran over a coy of nights each month, each and every taste is exceptional. What a great entrepreneur!, Sowerby Bridge are lucky to have you based at Mustard. Well done!

We stayed at The Hobbit for a couple of nights near the beginning of August after its reopening due to covid. The hotel is tucked away on a hillside overlooking Sowerby Bridge. The room was in an annexe very modern and clean. The views over the hills were a lovely sight especially as you could sit outside for a drink and chill as we were very lucky with the weather. Obviously at this time we had to follow guidelines and the staff seemed to cope really well as it was all new to them also as the hotel had only recently opened up for business again. Breakfast was good with enough to start you for the day. We did book dinner on the first night but wasn't overly impressed. The hotel is a good point to stay for local visits. We managed to travel to Hebden Bridge and Haworth in one day and take in some of the local culture. Would certainly use this hotel again.
