The best restaurants serving Default food in Luddendenfoot Calderdale Yorkshire and The Humber

I had the worst poached egg on toast. Pale insipid eggs and one had hardly any yolk which was also hard poached on cheap nasty bread. My friends had a small breakfast and again the bread was awful and the sausages did not taste locally sourced and all at top prices. Won't be eating here again!

We were hungry when we arrived on our first day and we decided to have a meal at the Inn before settling in We plumped for the roast chicken and Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and fresh vegetables, great choice, everything cooked to perfection and we finished off with a steamed pudding and custard, pub atmosphere was great and staff couldn’t do enough The rooms are comfortable and plentiful Breakfast was a selection on cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts, cheeses, and a full range of hot options including the usual full English Overall a wonderful 2 night stay and wouldn’t hesitate to visit again

Very good food and fast service and most if not all of the menu can be made vegetarian, which is the option I chose. Friendly staff who chatted with me about my visit.

What a brilliant local pub. (You can tell its community commitment by the defib on the wall! A great bar with 4 real ales that are kept at room temperature with a wonderful condition. This is a proper pub. It has a lovely restaurant room next door to the bar. In summary… great beer..local company… and a wonderful homely feel.

Large room. Very comfortable and clean, lovely and warm. Staff were lovely and helpful. Location excellent. No breakfast but cafes only yards away. Meals from noon until 8pm were excellent and value for money and good service. Bus stop directly outside to take you to Halifax. Highly recommended.

Was a great Chinese. The new owners have made it even better. Great menu and tasty food.

Brilliant kebab sweet chilli sauce was nice , the donner meat was spot on and the bread and vegetables were nice and soft .

Lovely place nice drive on narrow lanes to it. Great atmosphere & cosy just called for a drink but next will try a meal. A lovely place to relax & enjoy the setting.

Me and my wife came in today. Two full English breakfasts,two teas and two latte's to finish. The breakfasts were the best ones we've had in ages (quality). The two teas and latte's were also spot on. Afterwards we went into the deli and got some of the meat products on sale,they look really lovely. We're looking forward to cooking them and tucking in. Highly recommended.

Good atmosphere, good beers, nice roast butties! Update: Went back after years, the pub was great as I remember, but the carpark is the reason I've knocked this down. Got a parking ticket (fair enough didn't see the signs, nor the registration thing), appealed with the receipt from the pub to show we were customers, still got a fine. Spoiled the experience. Will not return.
