Fantastic food and coffee- lovely kind staff who make you feel welcome from the minute you walk in, I can’t recommend this place enough- the staff make it such a lovely place to visit

Friendly atmosphere, great selection of beers. Can be a bit cramped at busy times but there is comfortable seating upstairs with a pleasant view. No food available apart from nuts and crisps.

I have recently organised a dinner at Bertie's for an organization of which I am a member. It was for 131 people and Bertie's made the making of arrangements really easy. They are flexible on menus-if it isn't on their standard menu but doable within the price bracket, they will do it. Generally they all went out of their way to meet our requirements. I believe that food has to be judged in the context of price and our view is that the food is excellent for the price charged. Not many places in this locality can accommodate numbers up to and over 150 comfortably but Bertie's can and the room and its lighting always look stylish and welcoming with the bonus of a separate bar on arrival. I would recommend it to anyone arranging a large function.

Arrived at Coopers on spec after a movie in nearby cinema. Pleasant young man at the bar offered drinks whilst they accommodated us for a table in the restaurant. Very nice and inclusive Sunday roast menu, ordered the roast chicken and the nut roast. Sounded great on the menu but the food that arrived exceeded our expectations! Absolutely delicious, cooked perfectly and flavourful. Amazing value for money at 2 for 25 quid. Expertly made cocktails at 2 for 14 quid. Beautifully refurbished space with a bar area, restaurant and a roof terrace and service was super friendly and efficient. We were really impressed and can't wait to go back!

Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, amazing value for money! I had a 1/4 pounder cheeseburger for £4.50. It was how you'd imagine a great simple cheeseburger with grated melted cheese and seeded bun, simple and tasty. Proper chips as well! Nice jazz music gently in the background. Gotta keep these small places going cause they'll be gone one day!

Not very well looked after been over few times to check on father in laws plot and someone keeps taking his items out off his head stone and putting them on there’s

Went to the summer bier Keller on the 17th aug very good atmosphere the drinks were expensive each round was a different price one double vodka with water and a dash of orange cordial was £9.40 when I asked if that was right she said the vodka was £7.20 meaning £2.20 was charged for a dash of cordial and tap water we left half way through the night the prices really spoilt it for us

We had our late mum's Wake here after her funeral. The staff wete so helpful and friendly and the food was delicious!! Really good value for money and lots of it.

Had lunch recently, food and service were great! Definitely recommend!!

Order took an hour to come , the order came wrong, no number to call, can’t even ring the driver, the food was awful and the service is horrendous avoid at all cost

Group of us went in yesterday, only downside was music was loud ,really loud but they had pre-warned us that a birthday party was in so not a major issue. Beer spot on, staff friendly and efficient although we had to shout our orders. Food awesome, the best mixed grill I’ve had in years, everything was tasty cooked to perfection and tender and less than £16 quid added a pepper sauce which was a bit runny but still tasty. Definitely be back for more

Got a sausage n egg sandwich, the sausage looked and tasted like it had been cooked five times over, took sandwich back and got my money back. I would of even served them sausages to an animal they were that inedible. First time here and never again

Absolutely disgusting food sorry to say and gravy was absolutely disgusting.. Fish was like rubber and chips cold and tasteless
