The best restaurants serving Default food in Whitchurch North Shropshire West Midlands

We visited Gardner’s Chippy yesterday what we ordered was fabulous. The fish was freshly cooked as we ordered, the curry sauce there is delicious. Such friendly people behind the counter. In my opinion it’s the number 1 chippy in Whitchurch. It was a lovely day so we ate at the park across the way. Definitely worth stopping in if you’re in town.

Ordered 3 Sunday Roasts for Collection. Delicious lunches. Hot and well presented. Friendly and helpful staff. Generous portions. Very well packed. Empty plates. Would recommend to all and will certainly be calling again. A++++

Wild is a uniquely fun experience where a mystery tasting menu will test your palate. Staff are affable and knowledgeable; you are in safe hands upon arrival. The food is creative, technical, and full of flavour, particularly umami, with curious textures throughout. Dining at the counter (includes extra courses) is well worth the premium.

Recently able to get a last minute reservation whilst on holiday in the area, a few locals had recommended this Italian restaurant. As soon as you walk in we were welcomed by the owner and shown to your table immediately you sense the friendly and cosy atmosphere. The food was amazing and certainly worth waiting for service was brilliant Only disappointment was that we visited on the last day of our holiday but will definitely return in ever we visit the area again.

Lovely little wine bar, great feel to it and nice drinks. Would recommend for ore meal drinks. They made us feel very welcome

Went for burger night on the Wednesday not been before. Food was great also good knowledge of allergys Excellent service from Isla . Will definitely be back.

Great Sunday roast, one awesome sea bass, tasy cheesecake and chocolate brownies all with fab service. Even met the new chef 🧑‍🍳 what more could we ask for …. Thankyou White Lion see you again soon :)

Went to jolis for a bacon sarni for the 3 days we were in whitchurch visiting our grandson the bacon was so tasty and it came in a toasted bap the atmosphere in the place was good the staff were so friendly we will deffo go back next time we visit from Newcastle

Fantastic first visit to this pub mid way through a journey. Can't believe we've driven past so many times!

On the way back from Liverpool airport my car broke down with my wife and young children with me. I managed to get the car into the car park of the Horse and Jockey. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and helped us arrange for a local garage to repair our car as we didn't know the area. We had an excellent meal, very high standard at a great price. The pub is beautifully presented and very clean and tidy. The kids had a great time in the play area. The local ale was very good as well! An unfortunate breakdown was made easier by a lovely afternoon.
