Me and my partner often come to the hart to listen to the live music on a Thursday night. Recently we hired the cocktail bar for our birthday and engagement party. The space was perfect for what we wanted, big enough for all of our family and friends but small enough to create a good atmosphere. The music was brilliant and the bar staff were fantastic. Thank you for making it a memorable evening for us all 👍

Use to be the number one chippy in Redditch but it's hit or miss these days since the ownership changed hands. Can't deny the fish was quite good the other week so went again recently. These are the first times we've gone to them for a good couple of years. The most recent visit however I felt was met with rudeness for requesting an item that wasn't on the menu. The answer given "There's always one isn't there" is not very professional when the customer is literally stood 6ft from you... In hindsight I should've just said "ok no worries, I'll go else where" because the kebab that was ordered literally fell apart and the portion sizes are really low compared to past experiences. They get the 2 stars because at least the food was good quality but we won't be visiting again I'm afraid.

First time visit to this pub and must say we were very impressed, we had 7 seated and tables were laid out very well. Service was very prompt and friendly. Decor of the restaurant was clean and fresh. We all ordered 2 courses of the 3 course easter special menu. The starters came out within 10 mins of ordering and looked very well presented. I had the scotch egg and it tasted amazing. Followed later with the roast beef dinner, which had generous portions. I also ordered the cauliflower cheese as an extra. All in all very well presented and hot food. Prompt service and polite staff. Thouroughly recommended.

Seven of us (and a whippet) had an excellent lunch today in the bar area. We had a selection of dishes between us - I had the faggots which were lovely. Great sweets enjoyed by four of us. The owner and staff were very welcoming and delivered first class friendly service. Thoroughly recommend.

We visit this Cafe often and have never had cause for complaint. Unfortunately, Saturday 3rd. May changed this, My Husband and I took our Granddaughter for brunch, It wasn't busy at all so we thought it wouldn't take long, We waited over half an hour for the food which we could accept as you have to allow for this sometimes. We ordered brunch with bread and butter and when it arrived we asked for vinegar, we waited and waited and half way through our meal we had to ask a passing waiter again, moments later the waiter, a person with red/black hair came over with the vinegar and plonked it on the table as the waiter turned to leave , My husband asked if he could swap one the crust of bread (as neither of us like the crust) for a normal bread, The waiter literally turned round without the crust and walked of shaking their head on the way, and then never returned, It was rude and disrespectful and will certainly make us think twice before going there again.

I chose barbecue ribs in sauce, and a portion of house special fried rice. I ate a rib first, and it was horribly salty. I couldn't risk another one, as I have high blood pressure, and I need to cut back on salt, so I ate some of the house special fried rice, and I was horrified to find it just as salty as the ribs. Hubby had beef with green peppers in black bean sauce, with boiled rice. He looked over at Mr ( I hadn't said anything) and told me it was really salty, so it wasn't just me. Sam Pan really needs to watch how much salt they put in the food. I only went there because The Golden Wok in Church Hill was closed. I won't be going to Sam Pans again.
