Service spot on, food steaming hot and very tasty.

Lovely pub, just what Headless Cross needed, we go there regularly. However, whether it’s an morning coffee or early evening drink the music is so very loud, it’s hard to have a conversation. We understand that music creates a lively atmosphere but wow it’s too noisy.

Wanted to try the cocktail bar but it was shut but it was quite late

Garden at the rear is fantastic, Cocktail bar is brilliant...food good and great choice of beers..

First impression of the pub was not great, from the outside it looks nothing special. But inside ... lovely, with a fantastic outside area. Great food. 👍👍👍

Busy pub with a lively atmosphere. Covered outdoor areas with plenty of seating and service was exceptionally fast.

We visited the Whitetail Cocktail Bar at The Hart yesterday, what a beautiful hidden gem. The decor is gorgeous and a beautiful view over the Bowling Green from the terrace. Josh was fab, he looked after us so well and his Cocktails's were delicious. We will definitely be back 🥰

Very overpriced pub 2 drinks £16 plus you are,having a laugh will not be going there again

The staff were friendly and helpful and most importantly, made our dog really welcome. The food was lovely and was served really quickly. Would definitely go again.

Never had brunch here but wow it was absolutely delicious. Had the smashed avo on toast with a breakfast tea, the avocado came with sweet chilli jam underneath which added a little extra flavour, and I asked if I could swap an egg for something else (as 2 poached eggs was too much for me), and the staff were SO accommodating offering me other options instead so I opted for tater tots. (Same goes for my partner who wanted to swap something as well). 10/10 would come back for brunch!

Stayed in hotel round corner for anniversary walked around and come here for dinner the food was absolutely beautiful and the staff was very welcoming and attentive will deffo Come back !

10 / 10 breakfast and service by the staff Greg & Euan. Food was fabulous , drinks were super quick and refreshing. What a better way to a start of a hen party! These two defo deserve a massive pay rise for the service they have gone over and beyond! Thank you so much for making our time at The Hart a special one.

Enjoyable brunch with friends food was lovley and table service was amazing. Special thanks and credit to gregg who gave us a warm welcoming, attended to our every need and made us laugh. Such a delight to have someone who loves to serve their customers will definitely come again. Euan was very professional in looking after us with our food too such a lovely breakfast brunch to start off our hen party.

If I were the owner I would invest in better quality meat! This is how you get the customers to return rather than coming once. Other food apart from the meat was good.

Overpriced, tiny portions and bland food. £14 for a curry that was about 1/4 of a regular portion(if that), that would have been disappointing as a stater let alone a main, and barely had any flavour. No staff checked if the food was okay either. Cocktail selection looks pretty good.

Poor service, was advised after buying drinks that we weren't allowed to take them into the cocktail lounge. After asking for spiced rum in a drink I was served a completely different spirit maybe the staff are training? Towards the end of the night I attempted to get a drink, regardless of being stood centre of the bar I saw 4 people get served before me when they'd got to the bar well after me. I was looked up and down a couple of times before these people were served before me so I decided to leave it at that and head to the gate! Poor first impression from a place that had already been slated by people I know, but now I know for myself

Great Sunday Beef Roast, staff were great and very helpful and polite.

We went on a quiet Tuesday afternoon, and had the burgers, which were half price 😍👍 they were really good! It's a lovely place that I have driven past so many times but never been in ....well it was worth the stop now 😁👍

I went for lunch today with my friends and wasn’t paying attention when ordering my gluten free meal…and forgot to say I needed it gluten free. After realising my mistake when my lunch was placed in front of me I quickly apologised and said I’d pay for another meal as it was my mistake, but the server was SO polite and friendly and assured me it was no issue and he’d change it to gluten free for me with no extra charge to me. When my gluten free meal arrived….it was DELICIOUS!!! SO amazing to have somewhere that offers gluten free AND it be tasty!!! Brilliant staff, brilliant atmosphere and brilliant food. Thank you so much…I will definitely recommend and be back again soon….(and will make sure I pay attention when ordering!!)

Six of us just had an amazing Sunday lunch here. Everything cooked to perfection and really delicious Our 4 year old was even treated to free ice cream and a mocktail- staff as always utterly brilliant

Popped in to have a quick drink with a client to be greated with a lovely smile from alex . She seemed to go above and beyond us happy and comfertable we had chicken wings and chips best light lunch iv had in a long time highly reconend and cant wait to see what the evening meal is like .

Waited nearly an hour for brunch ,too long ,grandson was hangry as by time brunch came was 12.15. More staff needed .

Great place very cosy warm and welcoming. Kind of place you can take a date but at the same time your mom or your mates very good food and excellent drinks selection. You pay more than anywhere else locally but it's 100% worth it love this place

I visit the hart often as it’s my local pub. All the staff are lovely but especially Meg who always goes the extra mile is very friendly and helps create a positive atmosphere.

Came for a Sunday lunch - firstly, the prices are really quite steep. £17 for a Sunday lunch each, which I'm sorry to say was mostly cold. Only one carrot on my plate and the beef was so stringy. It all tasted okay but was generally a bit bland. We had dessert and waited 35 minutes for it to come out - a bit of a long wait for some puddings! It was fairly busy inside but the staff didn't really seem to know what they were doing. One of our meals was delayed by a good 5-10 minutes and they didn't have any mashed potato available - even though there were roast potatoes on offer! Overall, it was okay. Not sure I'd come back when I can have a cavery which is all hot and fresh at a cheaper price!

Lots to like about the 'new' Hart, nicely refurbished, well staffed, decent outdoor space as well. Just need to tweak the veggie food offerings a bit; vegan ISN'T vegetarian, and those of us who like butter, cream and cheese in our dishes REALLY miss them when we eat out these days. *UPDATE* Another food based visit, food sent back to kitchen a couple of times as unsatisfactory, but front of house did a GREAT job handling us, and overall not enough to put us off going back.

Had one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long-time. Piping hot and loved the tater tots. Reasonable pricing too.

A good place to go for breakfast, it was tasty and well thought out. I had American pancakes which was great. My son is vegan and had the vegan breakfast which was excellent. Service was friendly and the decor was contemporary. Would defo go again.

The cocktails, food, and place itself was beautiful and not a bad price at all and I’d come again in the daytime for that, but the one security guard stood outside the door is probably the rudest I’ve ever met, and I’ve seen him twice doing the same time. He singled me out from my partner and the couple in front, commented on my appearance as I looked different from those around me and asked for my ID, which was no problem, but then questioned my date of birth due to my appearance, not my age, and continued to laugh with the gentlemen next to him. It ruined the evening for me which was a real shame as The Hart is probably the nicest pub in Redditch :(

Good breakfast and very good Bloody Mary

Lovely pub/restaurant, well renovated with a great atmosphere. Good location with a large free carpark. The outdoor section and cocktail bar are particularly nice. The food was fantastic, although portions on the smaller side the quality was clearly very good. Unfortunately the steaks were not all cooked as requested when served but they were still very enjoyable. Order at table facility was fast and efficient. Will definitely go again.

No booking nessasary. On arrival, we selected our meals and drinks. The menus had all the classics , deserts, and beers and an array of good sandwiches to select from. The table was clean and cutlery was in great condition. And had battery charger units installed into the chairs. The meal took 15 mins to arrive and was super tasty and rich. The stand out being the cabbage with the sauage and mash!! The price is a bit on the heavy side, but you definitely see in taste and presentation. Will definitely go again

Since the revamp last year, this is the first time I've set foot in the door. Very very friendly staff who were more than helpful to show us to our table, we didn't need to book but I'd advise booking on busy days I.e Fridays, Saturdays. The food surprisingly, was really good! Compared to how it was before the revamp, they've really stepped their game up. For pub food I would say it was a little bit pricey (£19.99 for a chicken burger with onion rings), but for the quality, I honestly couldn't be mad about it. Really enjoyed the evening there, its quite local for me so it's good to know there's a fresh new space serving good food, just down the road. Highly recommend.

Like this place but we went to cocktail bar and I don't like the idea of scan barcode to order drinks this takes away the customer interaction when I go out for evening I want to have human interaction, need to rethink that part we not all stuck in the digital world need humans to talk to.

Food was lovely, we each had the grazing platter. Lovely to see the place busy. Luckily we went early evening otherwise we wouldn't have got a table as you aren't able to book.

First time I’ve been here and the vibes are amazing and staff are lovely. We were having trouble paying for drinks since the system broke down and couldn’t accept cash payments, but the managers were very generous and let us have the drinks on the house. Really hope the system gets better soon as it’s such a shame it’s set up for such a hassle xxx

Such a fantastic place and so good with my puppy. They have a puppy station with water and free treats. Food was delicious.

We were very disappointed when we visited yesterday. Food quality very poor especially given prices. Meat was tough and minimal. We were told no Sunday roast. A few customers after us also requested Sunday roast. We have visited several times before - when the restaurant was first open the quality and service was much better. Last couple of visits have not been a good experience. Decor lovely inside and garden very pleasant but the food and service needs much improvement.

Pub refurbished to the high standard. The best looking interior at this moment in Redditch. Nice Atmosphere inside and very clean toilets with...hot water in taps :D

Seen this building being refurbished sometime ago,so went in for a coffee and something to eat, good friendly welcome and the decor is amazing. Plenty of room inside and a lovely covered courtyard out the back with various types seating. Great service and the brunch menu had a good selection and very competitively priced. Will certainly be making a return visit in the near future. 😊

I was very disappointed with my experience. I have emailed the below to the restaurant and had no response. I have also commented on social media which they have deleted and ignored. I have still not received my refund….. I have eaten at the restaurant many times and I always recommend the place to family and friends. It was an added bonus that today you was giving a free breakfast for Father’s Day. It was my boyfriends first Father’s Day so going to a nice place would be perfect. We also asked the rest of my family to come, a total party of 10 , who live in Worcester and Henley in Arden. Understandably, you was a bit busy but we managed to get a table at 11 and there was tables to spare. I waited 20 minutes at the bar to be served to only be told you had stopped serving food and would restart at 12. I was highly confused why a waitress hadn’t informed the big queue of people of this. Surely the chefs know their capacity. We also heard you had ran out of food and saw staff walking through with co-op bags! I ordered some drinks whilst as a family we decided what we was going to do. Unfortunately, after waiting over ten minutes and still not receiving our drinks we gave up. I asked for a refund. I actually don’t know if the refund worked as the bar staff couldn’t provide a receipt. With my persistence I was given a written receipt. I’m not sure if you are part of a chain or independently ran, but you need to consider pre booking or being more prepared when offering discounts.

Excellent and varied menu. Friendly efficient staff. Nice ambience and great beer garden. We walked over a mile to get here and weren't disappointed.

A lovely pub with a great and hard working bar team behind the scenes. We came in after work late one night and had a pint. Met a right character in there, but it was all good fun. They've renovated the back too, it looks amazing. The bar used to be in the middle, but it looks so much better as is now. Good work guys, I can't wait to come back!

I love going to the hart, since its been done up I have not had a negative experience. I have been for breakfast and dinner. I would recommend the fish and chips.
