Although the staff were friendly and very apologetic, this is the third time of pre booking a table, having booking confirmation and turning up to no table being available. There needs to be better communication between staff.

Lovely building...Friendly & helpful staff.. & breakfast was amazing. Had to drop one point off for the delay in the food arriving (sorry), but was told they were busy & kept us informed of progress. Well worth the wait though & will be going again Thanks!

Always a cracking breakfast. Some evenings the bar is open and has entertainment. A good local place to meet and share a drink or two.

Been here a couple of times for breakfast and for tea and cake. Always lovely. Really like the style of the place too. Industrial vibe as its set in an old needle factory. I will come back and try the cocktails as I've heard they are excellent.

My Sister and I went there for our joint birthdays. Amazing service, amazing people, amazing atmosphere, live music and social aspect pleasent and fun!!! Choice of alcohol is second to none, shots and cocktails are delicious and made with care. Also had the pleasure of dining in cafe, breakfast is also outstanding. Highly recommended!!!!

I visited recently for breakfast with friends on their recommendation. I had never been before and was pleasantly surprised by the location and vibe of the place. Breakfast was lovely, only downside was we arrived at the same time as a large group of cyclists so service was a little slow - not the staff's fault as each cyclist ordered separately so it took them a while to get through those orders! There is a small seating area downstairs, and more space upstairs - we sat on the first floor but I believe there is even more room upstairs where they hold events on weekends and evenings. The food was delicious and they were very accommodating to changes we wanted to make to our choices. The room upstairs was a little chilly, so perhaps some small fan heaters dotted around would help, but overall, a great experience and would definitely come back.

The team at Bank always offer a variety of themed nights to suit all tastes. Whether it’s chilled acoustic, upbeat pop and rock or some indie hits. There’s also comedy nights and wine tasting to enjoy. There are cosy sofas and log burners for a nice atmosphere and an outdoor area to enjoy the summer sun.

The Bank Cafe and bar is now our go to place for Breakfasts and for afternoon/evening drinks. The atmosphere is really relaxed yet there is obviously a high level of professionalism throughout. Our little girl absolutely loves it as the team interact with her and make a fuss, as all parents will know, this makes our lives much easier! The team are fantastic in all aspects from kitchen to front of house and management. They are all a credit to the business. Special mention to Dylan, Gemma and Lyn who really went above and beyond on our last visit! I cannot fault the quality and value of the food and drinks they provide. This establishment is a real asset to Astwood Bank and is worth travelling to for both Breakfast and a night out if you enjoy live music! We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Excellent Sunday stop with cycling club. The service is friendly and efficient. It is becoming popular with cyclists and locals alike. Updated for cycling club visit in September 23. Excellent venue as previous review, now with expanded seating upstairs and servery down stairs.

Great cafe that offers both eat in or take away with amazing coffee and the food is also fantastic . Staff were great and really friendly. Would strongly recommend.

I made an impromptu visit to this place after spotting the sign on the roadside. It is more expensive, I had bacon and egg sandwich. It was worth every penny lovely thick crusty bread, high quality bacon and 2 delicious fried eggs. Will deffo be returning!

Very nice full English all tasted great! If there was one place for improvement it could have been a bit hotter both the food and coffee! Need to go again to check it's a hard job but I will do it!

Just been to bank interiors for breakfast. Absolutely superb yet again, food is constantly good can’t thank the staff enough.

Lovely breakfast, everything cooked just right and hot. A bit expensive I think two breakfasts, two teas, and two toast £26. But I would go again, could do with some more signs to show where to go and order, but nice decor and friendly staff.

A quirky, family run café/bar with a unique rustic feel. Fortunately, being a local myself I was able to visit for both breakfast and lunch. The breakfast choice was great, with the options to modify the menu slightly on choice. Very fast service and delicious grub! The evening saw the venue transform from a classic British café feel into a groovy, speak-easy style of bar, featuring cocktails, draft beers and snacks. A fantastic atmosphere throughout the evening and very well proved. I think I actually had THE BEST MOJITO EVER! 100% would recommend to anyone for either breakfast, lunch or an evening cocktail!

Bank Cafe is a unique place where you can get an amazing cooked breakfast, brunch snacks and some amazing cakes & brownies throughout the day.... and now in the evening some fantastic cocktails along with a great selection of other alcoholic beverages. Service is always given with a smile and you're guaranteed a friendly welcome.

Very poor service. Ordered a flat white and a piece of lemon and elderflower cake. After 15 mins of waiting and barely any customers I had to go and chase it up. They apologised at least. Cake was average, generous portion, not sure where the elderflower was and the sponge was heavy. On the plus side, the coffee was good.

Fabulous cafe / Bar venue! Ive seen lots of posts and recommendations to come here! Finally brunch was calling while out doing appointments. It's tucked behind the main road, with lots of curbside appeal which invites you into the building with intrigue. There's plenty of parking to the side and rear on the road. With a choice either inside at the tables downstairs, outside or the many tables and seating areas upstairs, you can grab a bite to eat whatever the weather, but there's plenty of atmosphere wherever you sit. We were seated straight away by a lovely friendly young lady, to a window view table upstairs, and chose quickly from the great value menu. We were only waiting a short while before the drinks came out, shortly followed by the food. All the staff were friendly and welcoming when ordering, bringing out our food and paying the bill. Food was delivered hot, fresh and tasty. I was especially pleased with a whole pot of tea, it's always disappointing when you're rationed to 1 cup! I would definitely recommend and will be back for lunch and evening drinks.🍸

Cake and coffee here are fabulous. We have visited here pre-Covid and enjoyed the rooms full of antiques and collectibles. We were sad to see there was only one sparse room of antiques now, but we did enjoy our lunch break. The cafe rooms are beautifully decorated and the service very pleasant. We both had toasted sandwiches, then Lotus biscuit cakes - delicious!!! We enjoyed this cafe pre-Covid, and it’s just as good today. Would recommend.

I love the Bank it is one of the best things for me about living in Astwood Bank. Within walking distance you can sit in a lovely environment full of calm and character. In the cold weather you have log burners warming the rooms up and in the warmer weather the chance to sit outside feels very cosmopolitan. The service is excellent as is the coffee and toasted sandwiches. If you want to get a good breakfast under your belt this is the place to be. A mixture of ages can be found here and although going through a transformation at the moment the shop with brick a brac has some amazing finds! I look forward to the opening of The Bank in the evening especially in the summer months. I highly recommend anyone to pop in and have a coffee … the cakes are amazing!!!! Dylan and his team work hard to make everyone’s visit memorable. Fabulous!

Great little cafe. Quirky and interesting. They do a great breakfast and very generous portions of cake. They usually have a good variety of cakes from brownies and rocky road to sponge cakes to choose from. Good one for a stop on bikes too.

Really nice little cafe. Regularly drive through Astwood Bank but never noticed this place before. Glad we stopped, great lunch toasted sandwich and coffee. Plenty of seating. Staff are really friendly and polite and great service. We'll be making sure we take the detour off the crossroads to stop here again. Cakes looked amazing!

Me and my partner visited this cafe in February and couldn’t be any more satisfied with the service provided. The staff were absolutely incredible, they made a conscious effort to make sure we enjoyed our time there and more so our meal, very warm and welcoming. The food was incredible and the portions very generous, which we couldn’t complain about with it being so reasonably priced. I personally loved how quirky this place is and was impressed with an entrance upstairs to an antiques store, even if a purchase isn’t made it was great to have a look around and added to the experience of going to a cafe so different to any other. I would highly recommend this place a go to for any visitors of the area and also friends and family.

Went for the 1st time on Saturday we sat outside as we had dogs with us. This is a lovely hidden secret. staff from start to finish friendly helpful food. we had toasties a must try delicious 😋 inside felt lovely and cosy when we went in to order. Upstairs in the interior shop was something special too. Will definitely be going back.

Found by chance via social media. Loved the atmosphere & decor of the cafe with outside seating and inside industrial theme & a wood fire warming. Breakfast was lovely using local sourced meat . Cooked to order & worth the wait, & good value . Lavazza coffee which is one of my favourites. Upstairs is a couple of rooms of vintage bric a brac & some clothing . All seemed fair priced . Down stairs a motorcycle repair shop where the staff where more than happy to talk about what they was doing & some of their projects. Great reception from all the staff really happy we found and will definitely visit again & hopefully on 2 wheels next summer ..

A fantastic emporium full of delights with the added bonus of quality coffee and cake. Ive purchased a few items from here and the staff are so helpful. Stock is varied and unique. Browsing is encouraged, guarantee you’ll leave with some magical find.

I found this place online so I thought I would give it a go, absolutely brilliant. The guys were very friendly and made us feel very welcome, thanks to Kev for finding me a bargain. The cafe was excellent and reasonably priced, lovely lemon drizzle. I will definitely go back and see what's new :-)

What an absolute find! An historic building housing a cafe and units selling vintage and interior design products. Owners very welcoming and friendly. Sat outside to have my coffee, can't wait to go back.

Bit disappointed we went for breakfast and asked if my young son could just have 1bacon 1sausage black pudding and hash brown as that is all he wanted but they said they couldn’t do that and we had to stick to the menu so we had to order a breakfast off the menu and ask for the items he didn’t like to be removed so pay full price for what we asked for in the beginning. Then they forgot all of our black puddings and then only bought two pieces out when we asked and then they got the bill wrong at the end charging us too much! Will not be going there again.

Quirky place with a trendy feel. Lots of industrial type goodies. Only small so a half hour visit type destination not a day out. Still really cool though.

An excellent cafe for cyclists 11 of us turned up and were served quickly nice food lots of tea mid range prices. Expect to see more of the Solihull cycling club in the future.

A nice place to visit, interesting and eclectic stock, good prices and some fun antiques. There's a sweet on site cafe that has a lovely variety of foods and drinks and is hosted by polite and friendly staff. Theres no parking to my knowledge on site, but I parked just in the drive up. On line the store looks much bigger, but its actually fairly small, dont let this overshadow expectations, it really is a nice visit and theres some real hidden gems there.

An amazing "Aladin's Cave" of articles on display from this and last century..a real antiques ' "dive" with something for everyone to see ,marvel and buy..friendly staff and cosy cafeteria which offers good coffee and snacks ,including breakfast.! Time well spent in several rooms on the first floor...
