Beautiful.place. Friendly staff. Gorgeous place for intimate experience.

Lovely food but waiting time for food is ridiculously long. 2 hours every time we go!

I usually find it difficult to find great tasting food out of London that’s freshly made however The brook inn was amazing. I found this driving down a country lane and needed to refuel and what a surprise i got when I found this place. Very clean with a great ambiance and setting. Very helpful staff and from what I witnessed The brook inn is dog friendly with great outdoor garden space also. I will most definitely return if I’m ever in the local area again.

Can't believe after trying several pubs around Redditch, finally found one I can recommend. Food,looks good and tastes good. Head and shoulders above the rest.

Food was poor, especially my duck salad. Just a pile of cold congealed rice with some duck... Disappointing....

We went and hired the room outdside for my dads birthday and the weather was great, it was really nice and personal and the staff were nice and polite, and the food was amazing

It's the best local for real food, and a warm welcome just out of Redditch amongst rolling country fields. Approx 10-15 mins drive. Great garden to enjoy the better weather! Awesome cosy interior too plus a cool private room in the garden to hire for special occasions. Their menu is seasonal and changes. And, because everything is freshly prepared they are able to accommodate food intolerances. Highly recommend!

Very cozy environment with an interesting seasonal menu. The food presentation and quality is amazing. I had fish of the day with a roasted cabbage side, followed with a small dessert with coffee, absolutely enjoyed it. The service is good and the price is reasonable. However, they don't have that much selection on drinks (no cocktail and limited gin options). It's dog-friendly with free parking offered (lots of parking places). I would come again for sure!

Food ok small portions had to pay for extra veg chips ect who put sultanas in apple crumble it was not banoffee pie waitress quite moody

Was out with friends tonight and fancied a take away. They were very accommodating and parcelled me up a meal. Have to say it was fantastic!! It was a festive burger that was sensational quite outstanding to be fair! and chips were great too!! Well done 👍 thanks for a lovely evening 👏

Arrived a few minutes early at 3.15pm for our 3.30pm booking. Very warm welcome from blonde waitress at bar. Very quickly seated by dark haired waitress with glasses who wasn't very friendly from the start. Pub was fairly busy on arrival but soon became pretty quiet, perhaps explaining our tail end of service poor experience. Wine list had to be chased as didn't arrive. Drinks also had to be chased. Service to actually place our order had to be chased as we were seemingly abandoned after asking for a few minutes to chose our meals after being asked for our order only a couple of minutes after arrival. Further service had to be chased from our "dead zone" later in the meal. These were details only, very annoying but par for the course these days sadly. The main and more significant issue was the quality of the roast beef. Tough to the point that you could not cut it. Also delivered not as requested in terms of cooking so lots of back and forth to get our meat cooked as we had asked. Numerous veg were cold or luke warm. Several yorkshire pudding way beyond crisp to the point of being burnt. Excessive salt on majority of veg. Manageress arrived fairly quickly and was initially responsive but the experience at this stage was already hugely spoiled. Replacement food was much better but by that stage we had been put off the whole lunch and to reflect this were offered 2 glasses of wine and a portion of custard to compliment our dessert! This place has been unreliable since the start of the Giles ownership. The family attitude to customers is poor. We asked for the manager to review the bill to reflect the poor experience and ended up being passed a phone to talk to the manager who had gone home. This some 3 hours after we entered the pub due to the awful experience we had encountered.

Popped in for lunch... food was very nice but rather expensive... £6.25 for half a coke and half a bitter... nearly £15 for a fish finger sandwich 🤔

Booked a table for 7, turns out they shut at 6 on Sundays but was not written anywhere on the website and still had bookings available past closing time. Waste of time and money to get here

Fantastic pub. Their Duck Kiev was outstanding, as was their Sunday Roast. Friendly staff, warm, welcoming surroundings and plenty of parking spaces. Wish I was local so I could visit more often.

The most welcoming gastropub I’ve visited in a long time! Each and every member of staff was attentive, polite yet professional and friendly. The menu was varied, exciting ingredients and flavours with generous portions. The delivered dishes did not disappoint-at all! Cocktail list was brief but tasty options, an opportunity to try something new. Would wholeheartedly recommend and we WILL be returning soon!

Went for lunch with friends. It was my first visit. Nice setting and decor indoor and out. My starter of soup was lovely although I was less keen on the main course of goat and onion tart. The presentation of both was excellent. There is a very limited menu for vegetarian or vegans. It would have been nice to have a salad option. The staff are very friendly and provide good service. The food was served in a reasonable time from ordering. Tge car park is of a good size. We will be back in the future.

Literally haven’t tried this place in 12 years, have come today and was pleasantly surprised, we will be returning as much as possible. The food and atmosphere as well as the service were all a massive credit to the Boot. Thanks for making an average Monday night something worthwhile! Thankyou all, Dan x

We came here on mother day and even though the service was slow, we thought we would give it another chance as we were impressed with the food. Unfortunately, after today's experience, we won't be giving it another chance. Firstly, when I booked I asked for a high chair which when we got to the table wasn't present so I had to get it myself. 1 of our party ordered a cider only to find the glass has bright red lipstick on it, we asked for it to be exchanged, which took 15 minutes. We asked for water for the table which took 20 minutes to sort out. We ordered our food, which took over an hour to arrive. Then it takes 10 minutes to bring everything out, which means your main meal gets cold. We asked for extra gravy and veg, which again took 15 minutes to arrive. When our plates were emptied, we were given dessert menus, and 15 minutes later we had to shout someone over to actually take the order. We ordered desserts and coffess and one of the coffees had a fly in it. One of the party ordered vanilla, strawberry, and coffee ice cream only for a member of staff to tell us 10 minutes later that they had run out of toffee ice cream! We pointed out it was coffee ice cream and not toffee. When the ice cream arrived, it was chocolate! We sat down and 1 pm, and 3 hours later, we left. I'm afraid we won't be returning as the service is so painfully slow.

What a great place! Easy to get to and in a beautiful rural setting. Lovely interior and great outdoor space too with two rooms that you can book for a private space with your family and friends and an outdoor bar( I can recommend the cider slush😀).Well done to Katie and Josh for creating such a wonderful relaxing environment. The food was just delicious, every item on the menu was very tempting. I could have ordered it all! Highly recommended - you won't be disappointed 👍

Lovely warm, friendly, relaxing small pub. Didn't eat but the food looked delicious! It is a small pub though and tables are few and far between. The outside space looks fab and will cater for more people - just need the dry warm days and nights to try it out!

The brook Inn is one of the restaurants in Redditch . The food and staff are incredible. I especially love their Sunday lunches .

Menu very limited cold inside And a bit on the pricey side

Second visit to the Brook. Last visit in November was lovely. This one not so much. The food- Overcooked greasy chicken burger with little to no flavour served with overly greasy chips. Others with me had soggy fish and undercooked beef burger. The food took so long to get to us that we were given a discount on the meal. The drinks- No member of bar staff apparently knew how to poor a pint. I saw one gentleman send his beer back 3 times as it was so flat and lifeless. The services- This was basically non existent. If you didn't chase down a member of staff you didn't get served. General- Very cold inside the bar/dining area. The toilets were cold, there was a huge hole in the ceiling, broken hand dryers, cracked toilet seat. Shame that a lovely place has become a let down.

Disappointing after Christmas meal. Came in November and the food was brilliant, decided to come again and sampled the street food menu. Was a let down. Soggy batter, undercooked beef burger, overcooked chicken burger, crispy croquettes placed on a sauce so no longer crispy when reached table. Slow, very slow service. Poor, won't be returning

Lovely, special birthday with family. Staff were brilliant really helpful and friendly, no complaints about food, party of 10 various ages and all really pleased. Lovely ambience, place was really busy, Saturday night and although food was quite slow being served it was really enjoyable. Let us serve our own birthday cake, which was lovely as some places don't like it. Couldn't have had a lovelier birthday celebration. So good we gave booked a family get together! Thank you.

Great pub, great food. Perfect beer garden in the summer with the dough shake and slushy cocktails. Bonus that its my local!

Not impressed with the service here given we had two identical rounds of drinks and one was charged £4 more. When queried we were definitely made to feel the problem was ours for not specifying the correct ml. So check your bar charges and if you want a small wine be sure to ask for 125ml. We won't be going back as we saw no difference in the size of wine given, just a whopping £4 difference and attitude from the management

Lovely outside area , nice pub and restaurant

Lovely atmosphere, staff were friendly, sat in the beer garden, drinking a slushy Cider, had fish and chunky chips, everything was lovely.

Lovely new renovations - inside and out. Wide variety of meals on the menu and each came out perfect. A little on the pricier side but great for a more special occasion.

We had rump of lamb, local pale ale and cheese plater. The rump of lamb was just delicious never eat such a tasty lamb. Local cheese can certainly compete with our french one they are excellent as well. Staff is friendly and our 2 Afghan hound were also welcome in the place. I highly recommend !

Been a while since I've visited The Brook, as I stopped working in Redditch some years ago. It's much more modern now and I liked the outside bar. My only disappointment was that Marston's Pedigree is no longer served.

High quality food and drink in a country feel pub that welcomes non-locals. Menu is changed regularly but meals retain the same level of appeal and quality standards using the freshest ingredients. Prices reflects this but for good reason. 5*

Not a pub any longer, now a restaurant without any soul. Absolute rip off too.

This is a lovely pub tucked away down a country lane near Callow Hill, Redditch. There is a bar serving pizza in the garden but it's not always open. When it is its a great place to hang out. The food in the pub is excellent and the staff very friendly.

We popped in for a mid week bite, we were pleased to find two open fires on a quite cold day! The menu of the day was a selection of - street food- neither of us are really into meat free versions of meat dishes, we'd rather have a vegetable based dish if not eating meat, however plenty of choice on the menu for vegetarians. We opted for the Bao buns to share as a starter, the filling was excellent and full of flavour, the bun was OK too, but not quite there. Overall though a really nice starter. I wouldn't normally order a burger if it's on brioche, but the menu left little alternative (next time we'll go for a selection of the smaller plates to share) the burgers were both very nice, the konichiwa was the niceest of the two. Unfortunately the buns were over toasted an brittle so they crumbled and I ended up having to finish with a knife and fork. Other than that, I'd say one of the better attempts at a burger I've had in a while and they looked spectacular when they came out. The chef did offer to make me anther burger on an untoasted bun. I wish there was a sesame seed bun as an alternative. Pub was very busy and had a great atmosphere, staff were all very friendly and looked happy. Looking forward to our next visit!

Amazing pub. Such great food. Couldn’t decide on a dish so had 4 entrees and shared them! So good we ordered another. They were all delicious and everything on a dish complimented each other. And the staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. Only travelling in the UK for 5 weeks and in this area for 1… we will be back before we leave.

We had a lovely walk around the grounds of the Hall and upto to Hanbury church, would recommend it for all abilities

Lovely setting, nice and quiet but wasn't bowled over by the food.

The service was slow. The Batter on the fish wasn't the best or the mushy peas. The vegetables for each meal was brought out as a collective which made thinks awarkward when it came to sharing. A little over priced

Expensive. Had vege main. Was quite nice but strange to have beef gravy and roasted vegetables. Staff nice and friendly. All tablets cleaned between customers. 🙂
