Fantastic place to go for breakfast/lunch, food is great and they are super dog friendly, we have one reactive dog and another dog who loves everyone and everything and we always feel welcome and have great experience here. Will definitely keep going, have visited a few times and will continue to do so.

As a regular at Ollie’s, our latest visit for breakfast did not disappoint. The staff are always friendly & attentive and their pancakes and waffles are amazing. As someone who only drinks coffee, they make the best coffee in town. As we relaxed to some great 70’s / 80’s music, our order was promptly delivered with a smile. The cafe is a great place for a catch up, whether it be mothers & babies, couples, families, singles or friends. It’s even dog friendly, with treats for canine visitors. We’ll both be looking forward to our next visit to Ollie’s.

Unfortunately we didn't have a great experience. We chose Ollie's due to it being independent and the GF and DF options which is needed for my wife. I ordered a bacon sarnie with extra sausage and a fried egg, which cost £15.30. (I was asked if I wanted one sausage or two. I went for two, not realising it was £3 per sausage!) What arrived was disappointing for the amount that was paid. I had one rasher of streaky bacon per half sandwich. I asked the waiter if I'd have just ordered a bacon sarnie, would it have come with such a small amount of bacon? He said he would check in a moment as he was just clearing up empty tables. Great customer service! A while later someone different did come and check what the issue was, and said my sandwich had been put through the till wrong. No apology though. I'm unsure if this was correct or just an excuse, as my receipt was how the order should be. However they did eventually refund my breakfast and apologise after I'd said that I'm happy to pay more for good food, but I don't like being ripped off, which is what had happened. My wife did say her food was pleasant, but very small for the cost. As I said at the start of my review, we chose Ollie's due to my wife's GF and DF requirements. When I ordered her breakfast I asked for no dairy on the toast, which I was told this would be ok, and a note would be made on the order. Half an hour after eating my wife knew she had eaten dairy. After looking at my receipt, there is no mention that the food needs to be dairy free. All other notes such as GF bread, Oat milk, hot chocolate to be mexican were on there. Luckily it is not a life or death allergy, but a stomach intolerance. It's a shame as we were really looking forward to a good breakfast, unfortunately Ollie's did not deliver, and left me hungry and my wife feeling rather ill.

What a treasure of a place, I was told it was lovely but had to find out for myself, its was excellent, I had halloumi and chilli jam sandwich, which was gorgeous, we also ordered the sausage and egg sandwich, again excellent, and 3 lots of pancakes, this was for a family of 4 adults and 1 child, the hot chocolate was one of the best I've ever had, the presentation and the staff were so lovely, will definitely be coming back xx

Visited Ollie’s with my mum and daughter (2yo) for brunch. Ordered ham and cheese toastie - delicious, and scrambled eggs on toast - my mum says this was perfect. I’ve visited Ollie’s quite a few times over the last two years and the food is consistently good. That being said, it’s quite expensive for what it is - £6.50 for eggs on toast is steep by anyones calculations. Bromsgrove has almost no properly child friendly cafés (simply saying you’re child friendly doesn’t equate to being suitable for children) and Ollie’s is no exception. Long given up on the hope that any of the Bromsgrove cafes will take the initiative to have a small box of toys or some colouring pencils and paper available but Ollie’s takes it a step further and don’t even have high chairs. Recommend for brunch without kids.

Visited Ollies on a Friday night for burgers. Had the special burger which was small, burger patty very dry. Staff were unhelpful and decided to clean the toilets right next to our table as we were eating our food, asking if we were going to use the toilet, implying we couldn't once they'd been cleaned. Overall disappointing, won't be returning in a hurry.

We’ve been a customer of Ollie’s since it first started as a small stand in Redditch and it is definitely our favourite brunch / dinner spot! Both the coffee and the food is incredible and consistently great quality. The eggs are the best I’ve ever had and the sausages are extremely tasty. The staff are always friendly and helpful too which is great. I eat low carb to help manage my type 1 diabetes and the staff have always been accommodating to me, allowing me to bring my own low carb bread (pictured in the photos) or order low carb sides as a meal. My boyfriend’s favourite dishes are the sweet chilli tofu bites and Korean steak fries from the evening menu. Everything tastes absolutely delicious and is cooked to perfection. Highly recommend!

So anyway, we went. When we got to Bromsgrove we thought it was dead, like literally nobody was about, our expectations were a little meh, well mine was anyway, not sure why. Anyway, we got there and I was thinking "ooo this is a peng little shop ting and a decent menu" we then ordered and got some botoh of wotah. Mate! Let me tell you when the food came and I took that bite it was so juicy and delicious. The flavours burst into my soul and made me a better person. P-dog agreed when we compared opinions. Yo! I had the porridge with dark chocolate sauce, the vegan patty sarnie on gluten free bread and the passion fruit smoothie (made with juice so no need to ask for a different milk). It was all so good! Wife and daughter had the ‘All In Pancakes’ while I had the smoked salmon with scrambled eggs on granary toast and 2 coffees and a hot chocolate. Drinks nice and hot and food tasted excellent. It was nice to have a ‘quality over quantity’ breakfast for a change after over indulging breakfast at other establishments. My one and only criticism (which to be fair to them we should have asked for) please serve the syrup separate to the pancakes to allow customers to decide how much to use. My daughter wasn’t that fond of the generous portion making her sausage and bacon too sweet. Would definitely return and will be asking for the serving of syrup to be on the side

There’s no children’s menu but I asked if they would do a half sandwich and that was no problem at all, I’m sure they would be accommodating with whatever you asked for. Not very busy when we arrived at noon but it started filling up. It’s a lovely addition to the high street, I hope it’s very successful. The lady serving mentioned that they stop serving the daytime menu at 4 and then do burgers in the evening from 6 and I’m looking forward to going one night to try them. Would be excellent if they started serving at night a little earlier as I’m sure we would take the kids there for burgers after school.

Eating out with a gluten/dairy/egg free toddler can be tough, especially breakfast menus. Ollie’s catered for our son better than any large chain restaurant - and went above and beyond to avoid cross contamination, share recipes as well as giving us extra pancake mix to bake at home. Service exceptional. It’s not the cheapest but the staff are very passionate about allergen free food - independent cafes like this are few and far between. Popped here this morning with 12 month old in tow, considering they don’t have the room for high chairs it was not a problem. Lovely coffee and brunch. Just what Bromsgrove needs

I popped in here when they first opened for a breakfast sandwich to take out, it was fab. Since then I have walked past a million times always thinking must go back in there. Last week I managed to grab some time for a coffee and a cheeky scrambled egg on toast with streaky bacon. It’s such a shame I left it so long to return, Because it was delicious. Not only that I loved the vibe, the music and the service was spot on. Definitely returning with the kids to try what look like amazing burgers! Well done Ollies, a fab little addition to bromsgrove!

I love this place, the burgers are amazing and super delicious. I would highly recommend the chicken burger or the classic with a side of Korean fries and pork belly bites as you won’t be disappointed. The atmosphere is so cool here and the staff really make you feel welcome and wanting to return for more. I’ve also been here for breakfast and it was a wicked start to the day, the food is amazing quality and you can tell it’s all freshly produced here. I will always return to ollies, keep it up guys❤️

Visited here with friends on a Friday evening after reading the amazing reviews on here. I was surprised that there were only 2 tables occupied but pleased as it wasn’t a problem for us getting a table.

Standard dishes for a place like this. Good food and reasonable service. Prices average. Gave me wrong order but I still enjoyed it so can’t complain.

Popped in for lunch for the first time today. Ordered two cold sandwiches and two beers. Bit disappointed that the sandwiches came with no garnish. When I asked for some pickle/relish I was told I had to pay for it. I think its a little short sighted of the owners to not provide this sort of accomplishment as standard. The sandwich wasn’t buttered either and the choice would have been nice. It’s the small touches that get customers to return.

Not all staff were professional, manager was abrupt and looked like he was having a tough day already. Me and my friends had ordered different sandwiches, hot chocolates and smoothies and had to wait 1 hour 45 mins for 3 the sandwiches. One of my friends asked for no rocket on his sandwich but when it came there was so he had to ask for them to take it off. It was the manager who was serving our table he didn’t look pleased at all.

Wow! What a find! Fabulous food, great service... loved it! More seating upstairs if all the tables full downstairs. Take away sandwiches too. Bathroom pristine.

After my son told me about the Bell in Astwood Bank, he really rates the quality of the food there. So, on 14 September we had our very first visit to the Bell with family for my birthday 🎉 and had a really lovely lunch🥳 The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The service was excellent. The food arrived quite quickly & was nice ‘n’ hot! considering the restaurant was very busy! We had different meals. Hunters Chicken with new potatoes and salad (really delicious). Home made beef lasagne & The faggots meal. Again, everyone said how tasty & how much they’d enjoyed the food. Will DEFINITELY go back again 🥳 looking forward to trying other dishes 😉 Thank you to all at the Bell (Astwood Bank) Lynn & family (Studley)
