Great place for chat over coffee & cake

We are extremely grateful for the kindness of the staff at Muffin Break. They are customer friendly and quick to help. The products, in addition to being tasty, also look good. It's a place where you can come to grab a quick snack and o coffee and watch the buzz from the shopping complex, or if you prefer a more intimate atmosphere, there is also a corner where you can quietly enjoy their dishes. I happily recommend this place.

I had a lovely time here with my partner. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We ordered something off the brunch menu and it was lovely! The french toast was delicious. It’s a nice little spot for breakfast, brunch or lunch and the coffees are very well made. Overall a really good experience, I’d highly recommend this place as there aren’t many good places for a quick bite to eat in the town centre.

I'm very pleased with my encounters with this place. The service, great, the food, great, the cleanliness of the establishment, great. I cannot recommend this place enough. I shall return very soon.

Ordered a takeaway hot chocolate from Muffin Break Redditch took it home and drank it and it definitely tasted like nuts. I think they used almond milk not normal milk. I never mentioned any specific milk so this is extremely concerning. With many people having nut allergies I feel people need to know this and be careful. If I’d have tasted it there and then and realised I would’ve sent it back. Waste of £4.50 and very concerning.

The hot food isnt very pleasant, we had a sausage roll that was extremely mushy inside and a sausage and egg bagel that was chewy. The only thing good about it would be the coffee and cakes.

Had a panini hardly any filling and very bland indeed . Won’t be going again for sure

Good customer service. Was told they make all the cakes but it's always the same cakes not much variety always the same. Would be nice to see something different or a special as we often go every week but boring when it's the same cakes each time.

Food was okay. I didn't had a nice experience in this place as my order was not complete and the kp girl did bring my food and trow it on the table like for a dog and staff from the bar had a good fun from this rude act ... than I been given few time a dirty look and attitude from the female staff .. I didn't feel good in this place . It was one of my favourites but not anymore. I work in coffee shop myself so I can understand a lot of things but today I experience the worst ever ..

My food was okay. But the service was horrible. I got a lot of dirty looks from staff and attitude given ... kp girl did bring my food and trow it on my table like to a dog and just walk a way ... while the staff from the bat had a good fun from this situation... never experienced so bad service and been treat that why by staff ... not recommended at all ... also very disappointed with that place

I visited Muffin Break today and was given excellent service. The workers there were incredibly accommodating and friendly. The food was great loved the pistachio!! 💚

I attended your branch for our usual coffee etc lovely as always but the only thing that was off putting was how loud the music was and just felt the volume could be lower as it was difficult to talk and relax. Not as friendly as it used to be

Used to be a great coffee shop, but has now changed ownership. Very disappointed today with our visit. Unfriendly staff, poor service. Shame, as the cakes/food is still a good standard. Won't visit again 😞

Ordered a decaf flat white with skinny milk, it was the worst coffee I have had at Muffin break. It was more like a latte full of caffiene and tasted of milk and water . It was very weak.

Disgusting.. The Man serving is The most unhygienic and Rudest, watch him wiping the cutleries with his own Apron, scraped the tray using knife, then same knife that he left on our tray for us to use .. When i told him what he did, he was denying it..he told me and my dauhter to go somewhere else. Plates, knives, saucers are all Stainy and looks like it hasnt been washed at all.. This used to be one of the best Cafe in Kingfisher. Now, dont bother. .

Disgusting Place, used to be good . Ordered for dine-in, .Server took tray from the bottom of the counter,.. Tray was not clean, scraped the tray using a knife, wiped the knife with tissue, and ta-da.. gave us same knife .. 😅😅 bye bye Muffin Break Redditch

Me and my sister visit muffin break a couple of times a month for lunch. We used to find it so Convenient whilst having a baby to feed also as there is plenty of space for the pram. We had noticed changes over the last few months to quality of food/ staff / overall service. Yesterday I had gone for lunch and ordered a sandwich, coffee and cake. A lady who was pleasant took my order, as I was going to pay I asked for my blue light card discount to be added which is on my phone. A rude man on the coffee machine shouted over saying sorry I need to see the card in person. I explained it is a card on the app and that it has the same name as my debit card. He then argued saying no he still needs it in person. I went onto explain I had been here so many times and in other shops and my online card should be accepted. After a few minutes of arguing back and fourth the lady did put the discount on. I was shocked that I had to argue my case over £1.20 blue light card discount which has always been allowed. Terrible customer service. I also had spoken to a staff member who works in the centre. I had mentioned about what had happened he also said he had stopped going there due to food quality/ staff. He is in the centre still working at later hours (1am) and said he had seen food left out on the counters at night. This isn’t good hygiene & muffin break does say everything cooked fresh daily. I doubt that very much now. So I sadly we won’t be returning.

Previously I would have given 5 but doesn't seem the same now. Feels like the heart has been ripped out of the place

Disgusting service received today. Had won a gift voucher at a recent charity event and it was refused at the till despite being signed. Counter half empty, staff can't understand you and coffee luke warm. Please bring back previous staff who provided an enjoyable experience.

This used to be a great cafe, it's gone badly down hill with the new owners. Meant to get a free muffin on your birthday, used to let you pick any, now they only let you have the basic ones.

Muffin break Redditch has always been a friendly place to go for coffee and lunch but recently it has gone downhill . All the friendly helpful staff seemed to have disappeared and been replaced and not the friendly happy place it was . Selection of foods have been replaced and when asked why they have changed they just shrug shoulders and not interested . Won’t be ‘my go’ to coffee stop anymore .

Used to be an absolutely lovely place, but unfortunately new owners bought it out in June, and it's now horrendous. Nothing seems clean at all, the food isn't prepared by people that know what they are doing and the owners treat the staff like rubbish. 90% of staff quit within 4 weeks of the new owners due to this. Absolutely despicable the way they have decimated the company's standards and it's reputation

Always get excellent service, decent coffee and good food, although not everything they offer is my taste , what they do do, they do well and efficiently.

I wanted to take time to review this cafe as I was so impressed with the team and their service yesterday. Your professionalism really stood out to me- you're on full view for all to see and your teamwork and work ethic was so apparent (and quite refreshing!) I also really enjoy your ham and cheese croissant so thanks! Me and my one year old enjoy dropping in to the Kingfisher centre occasionally and Muffin Break is our favourite place to stop for a snack 😀

Very disappointing. Got my order wrong and missing an item from my order. Missed off my milkshake order. Asked for no cheese on bagel but covered the bagel in it. So had give that to someone else, as cheese makes me sick. The chocolate drink was watery and muffin was too sweet. Very overpriced for what you get. Won't be ordering from these guys again.

A great all rounder cafe that hit above the rest! Great milk shake and toasties, we went there for brunch and safe to say we weren’t disappointed! Good coffee, good selection of sandwiches and an array of milkshakes! Deffo worth stopping by to try it out, although it’s not a 5 stars place, the price are a-little bit expensive from the rest but as mention…hit above the rest! You pay for what you get.

Decided to have a hot chocolate with cream to take out, if you can't have sugar, don't bother, it's like drinking liquid sugar 😵‍💫

My daughter and I visit here regularly when we go to the kingfisher she is addicted to the biscoff milkshake and i the cookies and cream the flavours varies depending on which staff make it adding extra touches can't beat the flavours off the various muffins gorgeous just annoying you can only use the reward card for food and hot drinks NOT cold drinks

Ordered through Uber eats, came quickly and it was piping hot! The Sausage and egg bagel was AMAZING! And the coffee? Fabulous! Also, my son really enjoyed their chocolate duffin! They also threw in a few cream eggs for us! Delicious and quick!

Always come with my children or my mum. Staff are so friendly and nothing is too much to ask! Lovely selection of food and drink. Plenty of space to sit down and rest whilst shopping and my children will only go here when we are up town.

It was lovely to visit on bank holidays and see this place packed! They have a great selection of food, including deserts and most amazing shakes. They also serve G-free cakes and their coffee looked amazing. There is plenty of seating so don't be put off by queues of people, you won't regret waiting the extra few minutes.

The best coffee and best food in Redditch

It use to be one of my favourite but during my last 3 visits the coffees I got were very watery, everything else is wonderful , plenty of choice for cakes, toasties and sandwiches.

One vegan option resting against the chicken option (so no longer vegan)! Tried nicely to explain to the manager who promptly told me i can choose to eat there or not.

Great little place in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre, order at the counter any food, you get given a number (remember it) they'll call it out when it's ready, take you cutlery drinks etc with you and wait for the call, Oh yeah muffins & Cookies to die for special cookie = chocolate overload. service was good place was smart and tidy high chairs available too.

Always a nice place to visit. The tables are socially distanced from each other. QR codes for track and trace are also present.

Delicious Mars bar muffin and Biscoff milkshake. Served by a brilliant staff member that is obviously passionate about his work. He presented everything really well.

The venue has increased in size since NEXT replaced M&S in the adjacent unit. The food, drink and service has stayed very good. The Covid rules spoil it a bit, but that's the same for all businesses in this sector at the moment. Gets busy around midday as usual, but time your visit and there's plenty of choice of tables. My Ham, Cheese and Tomato Croissant was very tasty heated up with the cheese melted. My pot of tea was nice. Overall Very Good. You can also earn points on their reward card which gets you a free drink after reaching a target. Very nice.

We popped in for coffee and cakes this morning and they have been busy making improvements during lockdown. The cafe has also doubled in size. There is also the same wide selection of cakes and snacks mostly prepared in the kitchen and visible to customers. The coffee here is good, especially the flat white which is my favourite. We have always received a warm welcome and great service from the owner and staff, many of whom have been here a long time.
