Fantastic place. Just a shame it has closed!

Great pub. Very well run. Beer on tap is handled well. Huge shame it's being closed down.

Dropped in for lunchtime food. Reasonable menu variety including sandwiches. Service was good if a little reminiscent of being at sonewhere like Claridge's. (Not at all busy at first). Ordered a steak and fish of the day. Steak was reasonable and the small portion of trout, tasty. Shared a very good STP. Price wise towards the top end of pub prices. Allows dogs in the bar. Outside area to rear. Clean decor.

I used to go to this pub when it was called The Forrest and visited regularly but it has changed its name and has new owners with their own style. I find the layout difficult because you go in through a fire door. In fact I could not get in because the door was so stiff. I had to get my partner to give it a shove. When we got in the first thing we were presented with were the toilets with the door wide open. Not a good start. My partner and I are vegetarian but the vegetarian options were seriously limited. To be honest they do not want vegetarians here. Outside the hanging baskets were dry and miserable and where there was planting it needed attention and they even had planters with nothing in. The Lygon Arms is a far cry from The Forest and we shall not be coming back.

Great pub. Top quality food and friendly service. If you're in the area why not visit. It's well worth it

Met up with friends at lunchtime today. Six of us (including a whippet who was given her own treats) enjoyed excellent food coupled with friendly efficient service - thoroughly recommended.

We had a birthday celebration meal and it was excellent from start to finish, the food was amazing and the service sublime, also a lovely atmosphere which makes it even better! My fillet was outstanding and cooked to perfection… a must if you are in the area!

Sunday roast good. Ale good. Sticky toffee pudding overcooked and too chewy. No soft furnishings so very noisy

Excellent evening at the Lygon this evening for Valentines. Great service throughout the evening, superb food & nice wine selection. Nice relaxed atmosphere, no rushing between courses. Would certainly recommend.

Had a lovely lunch at the Lygon, hadn't been in for a while, but weren't disappointed. Food was excellent as was the service. A little quiet when we visited, mid week lunch time, but we'll worth it. Would highly recommend the Lygon.

What a brilliant place to eat, the presentation of each meal was lovely and everything tasted good. Very friendly staff too making us feel welcome. The entire experience was perfect I will definitely be coming back!

Excellent venue,our meal was sea bass which, although small portions was well cooked and well presented. The Lygon has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere.the staff and service was great.

Wonderful atmosphere an a lovely warm welcome from the manager and staff. The Lygon is a cosy old building with plenty of activity. Roomy tables and comfortable chairs. We went on Bangers and mash night and thoroughly enjoyed the selection on offer and there was good option for the one non-meat eater with us. I think the choice of flavoured sausages was quite satisfying, a great move away from just pork. Staff were attentive and pleasant and new their menu items well providing splendid descriptions of the different items on offer. Would recommend The Lygon Arms Feckenham to anyone looking for a comfortable restaurant serving excellent food and drink.

Hadn’t planned on going here as let down by a near by pub. They were so accommodating on a busy Dec evening and found us a table for 7 within 30 mins of our arrival . Food and service was exceptional, they couldn’t do more for us , even entertaining our nephew so the rest of us could catch up . Ready to book more future celebrations. You must go here if in the area .

Have visited this wonderful pub many times. The food is excellent and the staff very welcoming and attentive. It is also very dog friendly (bar only). Would thoroughly recommend.

What a roast dinner, all of our party said it was probably the best roast dinner we had ever had out at a restaurant. Great food, great drink, great atmosphere, great service. Will definitely be returning!!

Great to pop in for lunch. They have a good Christmas menu.

Wow ,what s fantastic night we had 6th October celebrating Annie's birthday. Food was amazing as per usual ,many thanks to stu and his team that beef in particular was exquisite .Harry and his staff were amazing, giving undivided attention and service to our family and friends. The dining area was beautifully laid out for us with birthday decor and welcoming drinks .A fabulous night enjoyed by all many thanks to Harry and staff for making our night an unforgettable experience.

Good wine menu now which I’m happy about, steak was very high quality. Really good to have a top restaurant back in Feckenham!

Such a great spot. Harry - the manager - is doing a wonderful job with this place. Great for a drink or two, unreal for some food with a great wine list (brilliant range). Thoroughly recommend it. Luckily we live nearby, need to go more!

Our FAVOURITE restaurant for fish, but fabulous breads mains and deserts to die for. Staff are so lovely, great wine list, too. This place just gets better. X

Did not eat so cannot comment on food, but ambience/atmosphere was good and staff really know the drinks they have on sale. Drinks presentation was perfect. Will go on another day to try food as menu looked good.

Excellent find, Sammy was very helpful and sat us on very short notice. Food was served quickly and of high quality, I had a delicious burger and my partner had steak even the dog got a little bowl of gravy bones. Thanks team

Wow! What a fantastic place. The food was so good and service was excellent. We especially liked the Asian pork belly salad, our Sunday lunches and the creme brûlée with lavender shortbread. It was all so fresh and perfectly cooked. We will definitely back!

Wow what an incredible place. My husband and I eat out a lot and this is by far the best place we have visited in a whole. I literally can’t recommend enough, everything from the service, food and even atmosphere was amazing. Food is fresh and cooked to perfection, with a great drinks selection including non alcoholic beer. From start to finish we were highly impressed and already talking about when we are next going to visit. 5*

Visited as a party of four. First visit and an e cellent experience overall. Food great, service excellent. All that could be expected for a good night out. Well done.

The pub was very well laid out and the real ale offering was well kept, the food was however overcooked and very expensive for the portions offered

I cannot recommend this place enough. The food is exceptional, the atmosphere is amazing and the service is second to none. The decór was simple yet elegant. We were waited on by Rob and he is just a breath of fresh air. His smile and laugh were infectious. Go for the service if nothing else ♡

Had amazing Sunday evening catching up with my bestie. We were pleasantly surprised by bartender Robert with his ability to mix the most incredible cocktails. Will definitely come back for the drinks.

I had a lovely Valentine’s dinner with my husband and it was the best one so far. Robert was looking after that evening and I could not express how attentive, professional and helpful he was. I use to be here before when it was Forest but the service and food now is so much better. Not only my husband was advised on meals according to his intolerances without delays and double checks with kitchen but also the bespoke cocktails were made for us during the dinner. The steak was cooked to perfection, the market fish was absolutely amazing and can’t praise Robert enough for his cocktail mixing gift. Will cone back in regular basis.

Busy local pub on a Sunday afternoon with lots of noisy good natured laughing. Attentive bar staff and unusually the barman came and asked if we wanted another drink, trusting us to cough up as we left. Would recommend.... Have eaten there previously when it was The Forrest, but did not see menu this time.

A breath of fresh air since Harry took over with a great team including of course Stuart in the kitchen. Really enjoyable food at very reasonable prices made even better with the friendly, attentive, informal service. And some great ales including Purity Gold!

Under new management, a lovely ambiance delightful restaurant with a great chef, log fires, tasteful decor lovely real ales, what's not to love.

Imaginative menu, attractive clean restaurant area, service attentive without being intrusive. Food was excellent, decent sized portions. Our menu mix-up was sorted out politely and amicably. Excellent well above-standard place to eat. Can't comment on the beer - driving :(

The Lygon is a top pub. Good food, great selection of beers, friendly helpful staff. What more could you ask for. Top patio in the summer. Still the same pub. Lovely

I ordered the Hake special of the day, with dauphinoise potatoes and crayfish butter. Possibly the best pub lunch I've had in my life.

A good Saturday lunch in a lovely pub restaurant setting. But we were on our own in a large restaurant. We were worried that we'd made a bad decision! But the food was great and the service (not surprisingly) attentive and perfect. Deserves to be much more popular!

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, good food

Went for a dinner, including one of the party having celiac decease so a Gluten free menu was required (can't remember the gentleman's name who seated us but was very friendly and said his partner had GF requirements so this put us at easy as many place don't take it seriously). The food was delicious and our server was amazing and very warming. She (again awful with names) was very comfortable in her job and great customer service from her. She joked and laughed with our table which really added to the experience. We plan on coming back after a dog walk soon (noticed there was a country path at the back of the car park) and stopping in for a drink or coffee as it's dog friendly at the bar which has comfortable seating in. As night fell the outside seating lit up and looked very welcoming and romantic. Have already recommended to friends and at work. Hope it stays this constant and becomes our new spot to go.

Food was nice, sat outside, inside was like the wild west, drunks falling over and very loud. I won't be returning.

Absolutely superb. This place is spotlessly clean, it's nicely done inside and out, the beer garden is also excellent. Excellent beers too, and our server Chris was beyond excellent. The farm fresh food (see pic) from Brood Farms was exceptional too. What a fantastic place this was, on a warm Saturday early afternoon. Thanks Chris!

We love this place. The staff truly make it homely and take excellent care of everyone. Ontop of this, the ales are looked after with pride.

Driving through Feckenham, noticed the Lygon Arms and decided to stop. Great welcome, helpful knowledgeable staff and great outdoor and indoor spaces. Felt very Covid secure. My Mum always said go and check the toilets out first, and if they are clean and well looked after it will reflect on the kitchen. Toilets were spotless, and individual Terry hand towels shows they go the extra mile. Good selection of real ales and a good selection of Gins, with a great recommendation for the Spiced Rum. Good choice on the menu, and we both really enjoyed our mains and desserts. Although we live 25 miles away we will be back.

Very disappointed. Don't get me wrong the food we had was cooked and presented really well but having checked the menu online before we went(special occasion) it was somewhat disappointing to find "pub grub" on offer rather than the a là carte we were expecting, also as we ate at lunchtime there was only 4 tables for the 2 staff to tend but they left us sitting waiting for the bill, I walked to the bar in the end.

Having stayed & eaten at the Lygon Arms in Broadway, I was over the moon when I found that they had bought our previously favourite pub in Feckenham, so we duly booked for a tantalising treat of delicious food!!! Firstly, the food was amazing, but the staff had no idea about anything, waiter didn’t know what was on draught, no salt and pepper on the table, when asked for we received a bowl with little sachets, the type you get in your takeaway bag from KFC!!! We received stale bread, again complained and when they brought fresh bread back again it was too late as the starters had been eaten, not good at all. After the meal my wife asked for an Irish Coffee, what she got was a latte with a whisky in it, we complained and they apologised and would get the appropriate drink…No, the same again!!! The restaurant is lovely, however these staff have no training whatsoever, they need to raise their game significantly or they will not last long!

We stopped by here for Sunday lunch after visiting Hanbury nearby. Really nice and cosy atmosphere, lovely staff and great service. The food was delicious too, spot on Sunday lunch. Definitely recommend.

The Forest is very, very good fine dining pub. Arrived slightly late after a walk on Sunday afternoon & the staff were very good & accommodating. Food was excellent & Sunday roast pork with crackling was particularly good. Vegetables were nicely done. Had a lovely dessert & customer service was the best I have seen in some time. Lovely location as well. I would recommend it to anyone based upon our visit.

Nice pub for the family day out

Have had some really nice meals here in the past but the last two have been average at best and since visiting we have been told that it is up for sale so they are no longer bothered about it I don't know if this is true but it certainly appears to be . So unfortunately we will not be visiting again until we know its improved.

We visited for Sunday lunch. Great menu choices in addition to traditional Sunday roast. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Excellent food, friendly staff. Will definitely return.
