Couldn't understand when entering why it was empty , in fact I thought they may have been closed as west bay was absolutely packed , the place is beautifully decorated and is in a great position in a packed car park and it was lunchtime 🤔, I would have loved an all day breakfast but like some other places they don't do them after 11 or 12 , always baffles me as I have been in catering for years , so had ham , egg and a few French fries for £13 no salad or peas .Sat and watched big queues of people waiting to buy fish and chips opposite should that not give the owners of cherries a bit of a clue as to what visitors to a seaside town might be looking for , hope it gets busier for them

Once again (we’ve been here several times in recent years) the food was exceptionally good: piping hot, generous portions, and no holding back on the ingredients. We’ve tried most dishes on the menu and can honestly say that they are all excellent - as is the quality of the several varieties of homemade cake.

OK but slow services and expensive due to the location. I try not to leave anything except positive reviews but they took 10 minutes to deliver a pint to the table and forgot my son's order until chased up so that he ate after everyone else had finished. Appears kod friendly but in reality I think they'd prefer older parties.

By far the best fish and chips I have ever eaten. We visited on Wednesday evening after we’d had tea and they smelt so good we came back in the Thursday. Crispy chips and batter on the fish. I wasn’t very hungry so we ordered a large portion to share and it came with an extra piece of fish. We sat by the bridge and watched the tide come in whilst we ate. I don’t often this if fish and chips as a treat but this was superb, highly recommended.

This place is more like a takeaway. The restaurant was cramped when we ate there. They didn’t have enough glasses so asked if we were ok drinking out of the bottle. it doesn’t have an alcohol license but seemed ok with you bringing your own. The dishes we had off the specials menu were more Chinese flavour than Thai - they weren’t bad though just not what we were expecting. If I’m honest I don’t think we would go back there, but it seemed quite popular as a takeout, so give it a try and see what you think.

We ate lunch here on a cool January day, but it was nice and warm inside. I had what is probably the best egg mayo sandwich I have ever had; certainly in many years. It was fresh, and delicious! We will happily eat here again when in the area.

For a 4 night stay in West Bay, we dined here on 3 separate occasions, and... every meal was superb: good size, great quality, realistically priced, excellent service, and a lovely setting (and we wish - so very much - that we'd had our 4th here too, as the alternative - slightly further along the coast - was awful)!

We had a great dinner at the Arts Club. The food was wonderful, the staff were excellent and, being a lovely summer evening, we dined outside in the pretty and surprisingly quiet courtyard.
