The best restaurants serving Default food in Wellswood Torbay South West

Myself and my partner had a lovely few days here, food was excellent, the staff are so friendly and always accommodating, the place was clean, tidy, modern, great spa facilities and a good location.

Entered, bought a £4 naughty cake and then left. Returned and politely asked for 2 takeaway spoons for myself and my mate who had also brought a naughty cake. And low and behold I was asked to pay a charge of 10p for 2 measley wooden spoons! Not even a plastic spoon a wooden one. Not having that terrible service not very courteous to make me pay for a WOODEN SPOON! Never goin back.

Food was amazing, so tasty couldn't fault any of the dishes. Great service and value for money. Great restaurant choice for our last night of holiday.

I was the organiser for a meal at Amici's for group of 70 of us from a literary society. From start to finish the whole experience was fantastic. I dealt with Mauro (the owner) by email confirming all the details and meal choices in advance, and then met him in person before the event. The manageress (Emily I think?) was also brilliant. On the night they had lots of staff on duty and every single one was friendly, polite, helpful and professional. The meals were really tasty (and huge portions). I have no idea how the chefs manage to send out 70 meals in quick succession, they were amazing. The whole thing was a wonderful experience, I highly recommend them.

Bottomless Brunch 3pm - 5pm. By 4.30 we had still only received 1 cocktail. Service improved after complaining multiple times but a really poor service. Not worth the money at all. Very disappointed.

This is such a lovely place for lunch. A great selection on foods, coffees and wines. I was lucky enough to skip out of the office for lunch today and was so pleased with my choice of Me & Mrs Jones. The atmosphere here is amazing. Staff service is always friendly and super efficient.

When you say it sound a to good to be true there is normally a catch but not in this case. We were greeted by Linda who showed us our room and where the restaurant and bar were. On arrival given a cream scone and tea and sat in the well kept gardens and enjoyed the peacefulness and views. Dinner on both evenings was exceptional as was the breakfast, never been to a hotel with so much choice on a breakfast menu. Not only was the food and accommodation included in the price but on both evenings we had first class entertainment from the singer to the all round enterer who had everyone in stitches. A big shout out to all staff that made our stay really enjoyable .

Just local cafe with a little for everyone. Menu small,but usually that is all you want anyway after a 45 min talk and a walk in woods. Very fairly priced for the day out food
