Absolutely remarkable restaurant, I have been here with a few of my dearest friends and the service is impeccable. The quality of the food is unmatched, I haven’t tasted food like since my gap year travelling the world. If I could, I would eat here everyday. Portion sizes are large, so get ready to pay for one meal and ending up with dinner today and tomorrow!

After a wonderful Christmas show at the Abbey we chose Mezbaan in hopes of a convenient late bite in unhurried comfort with obliging chef and staff. Couldn't have been better! At 10.15 we were welcomed warmly and served promptly with drinks and snacks, starter and main course, all to share. Everything was delicious, with the standout the enticingly named Garlic Chilli Walla Chicken. Thank you so much - I'm sorry we don't live closer or we'd be there every week!

Amazing puddings - such a treat! The whole family love this place & have worked through the menu! the trays are gorgeous. Wish they’d relocate & had more outside seating and regular openings but that’s just us being selfish ;)

Delicious food and excellent service . We had the rabbit and the sea bass as our mains and lemon meringue pie and ice cream for dessert . All dishes were beautifully cooked.

Tipo has recently changed the menu & there are some delicious new curries on there. Food here is always fresh, hot & beautiful. You can’t fault the service. Magda is amazing & they both make you feel so welcome. Best Indian in town by a long shot 💯

Went for the buffet - plenty of great options available, especially for me as I am veggie. Also worth noting is the bar had a good range of beers and a cider on tap. Highlight for me was the bombay aloo! Staff were friendly and the place is very clean and spacious. Will definitely be returning.

A very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with the menu choices well above average. Fresh cooked and the wait was minimal. Excellent cocktails & choice of wines. Was very impressed that the owner/ manager came to speak to us at our table, we were only visiting for the weekend but will be sure to return next year

Our first visit to Dalchini, definitely not the last. Great atmosphere, great food, very friendly staff, excellent service. Four had a really great evening, we can’t thank you enough. Looking forward to the next time x

Unfortunately cheese and green chillies were missing from the order.

Used to come here a lot and in the past have 5 star reviewed. 2nd time visit where we've been really disappointed 😞 prices have gone up, quality has gone down. 45 min wait! Those lovely slices fried mushrooms on sourdough that we used to get have been replaced with large whole field mushrooms that were really tuff ( think been in oven since breakfast service) with wet cream on soggy bread. Really unpleasant. We left a ours pretty much untouched, waitress just seemed to ignore this. £15 chicken , bacon advcado salad was basically some mixed leaves with some fried chicken quojons on top, didn't see the bacon. We did mention to waitress but they just said the menu had changed. Spent £73! This used to serve lovely fresh home cooked food which made them stand out above the chains. Such a shame as we love to support smaller local businesses but we won't be returning sadly.
