I had a fantastic experience at Browns Garden Restaurant in Tewkesbury today. My sister and I went for lunch as she is moving to a new location, and we were so impressed! The staff provided excellent customer service, and the food was absolutely delicious, with great options for vegans. A big thank you to the chef for making such delicious dishes. Highly recommend!

Scone and butter very nice with tea. Another visit, fish & chips and GF hunter's chicken was good. Waiter came back and suggested change to potatoes as chips were not GF. GF lemon drizzle good.

A nice cafe with great service, all the staff were excellent. Had a large breakfast priced at £15 and was a bit underwhelmed. The sausages, bacon, and eggs were great quality and well cooked the rest very average. Mushrooms not suteed, black pudding tiny, hash browns odd small ones. They do a buy one get one free breakfast during the week (at the moment) that would be better value.

Loved our visit today. Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The Menu had lots of choice and accomadated my request for a change to topping for jacket with no problem (thank you Chef) Mum had quiche and loved it. Will visit again when we are visiting Tewkesbury. Thank you xx

The busiest garden centre café that I have ever seen. The staff were very busy but were extremely welcoming, the food was good. Overall, this was a very pleasant experience.

Recently went for afternoon tea, there were 6 of us. What a treat, food was lovely and varied. Tea pots kept topped up and a nice bucks fizz! Couldn't fault anything, excellent service

A surprisingly nice restaurant tucked away inside the garden centre with a wide range of good dishes, and (when we visited at least) a lot of additional dishes on the specials board. Range from light bites to full lunch or evening meals. Prompt friendly service. May be wise to book.

We stopped here on a journey. Huge milkshakes, good coffee and a roaring wood stove pierced a perfect stop, much nicer than a motorway services!

I had the most gorgeous chocolate sbd salted caramel cake; it was chocolate dense and very fresh . The staff were really helpful, checking which cakes were egg free, and very friendly. The cappuccino was piping hot and a good size, too.

Had lunch with my family and we all massively enjoyed. The loaded Cajun spicy cheesy fries are a must try as well as the lasagna. Such a broad menu to choose from too.

Very good typical cuisine as you would expect in a place that is as nice as it is unexpected.

Very welcoming my husband is in a wheelchair so we were accommodated in the restaurant rather than the coffee and cake shop. Coffee was lovely and hot the teacake was excellent served with soft butter rather than bullet butter, so we could eat that hot as well.

Browns Restaurant is part of our lovely local garden centre. Always excellent food and service. It's advisable to try and book ahead as very popular, especially at lunchtime. Specials Menu every day.

Lovely place to meet for lunch or just coffee and cake. Lovely surroundings and very nice food, something for everyone.

Must have ordered the wrong meal, but the panini that eventually turned up was awful. Hardly any filling, over salted chips, meagre salad, over heated bread and over priced. A pity because this venue was recommended! Not impressed.

We went for brunch. People we were staying with live in the area and recommended it. I had the Acai bowl,which was a smoothie with granola and fresh fruit. The others had a mixture of farmhouse breakfast and traditional,which all looked very nice.

Stopped in for breakfast. Had a latte and pancakes with Bacon and Maple Syrup. Absolutely delicious. Only downside is that the acoustics in the cafe means that noise is carried so its quite loud.

Just had the most amazing afternoon cream tea. Cakes, fruit, scones, a varied selection of Sandwiches, tea and coffee, what more could you ask for. All freshly prepared. Too much to eat in one sitting, so staff willingly supplied a covered container to take the rest home for supper. Many thanks to all of the staff at Brown's Garden Restaurant.

Really nice place! Staff and food were excellent

I have been a visitor at browns many times, travelling from Leicestershire. On this occasion is was very disappointing. There was myself and four guests. My main meal of Duo of Duck was not edible but sadly at no time during the meal were we checked upon. Infact the service on this particular visit was also sadly lacking. We had to request a desert menu as we were not revisited at any point during our meal. My duck breast was raw the thigh was tough and overcooked and the vegetables were to hard to bite. I was offered an alternative but all my guests had finished. I was offered a complimentary desert but then they tried to charge me for it when the bill was presented. My guests also found the duck unsatisfactory and the vegetables hard. My elderly aunts crumble was undercooked, very doughy and the custard was scolding which burnt her mouth. Our bill totalled in excess of £100, previously I have always been so happy to visit but sadly not this time 😭😭 Also the disabled parking was blocked off with their trolleys!!!

Fantastic food and service with a smile! Very homely feel and hearty food. The ONLY criticism is the quiche portion was a bit small for £11.95 - more for a child than an adult we thought. My husband’s fish pie portion looked more reasonable. So maybe something to look at? But we will be back for sure :)

Sunday lunch! This was a dreadful experience. The booking had not been registered but we were seated anyway. Dirty glasses, warm water with a meagre drop of Lime was brought for drinks. The roast lamb was fine but the veg was too undercooked and stone cold and had to be left. Dirty tables and floor added to a waste of time and money. I would normally dispute payment and not pay the entire bill, but for my guest having to get away!

Prompt service. We were very well looked after. Nothing was too much trouble . Food was delicious 😋 😍. Loved it.

I have often had meals there. The choice is excellent, with a large specials board as well as a standard menu. The food is delicious, the service happy and relaxed. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Will be having my 80th birthday lunch there.

This is my new go to place. Lovely atmosphere, amazing service, lovely staff and just as important the food is fantastic. I can't rave about this place enough. If your in the area and you want anything from a simple coffee or want something more then this is the placed to go... Highly recommended 👌

Sunday lunch with the family and it was delicious i had the sirloin of beef and my husband had the lamb it melted in your mouth.the only slight problem i had was the vegetables were not cooked quite enough.

Absolutely fantastic! However... incredibly frustrating customer experience when trying to book a table and nobody picks up call and message says 'no messages can be left right now as inbox is full' this is the second time this has happened. The food and service are really excellent but the booking system is a problem. It would be good to have an Internet option to book tables (for those who use the internet) in addition to a manned phone call option for those who don't ie my elderly mother.

Good food and let very coffee, breakfast was beautiful

This used to be a favourite coffee stop for me while out on my bike. The real estate has now been modified and is no longer bike friendly. However the staff are great and the coffee is still good.

Love it here. Food is very nice especially the warm scones. Lovely seating area in the garden room with a log burner in the colder months. Very relaxing atmosphere.

I hosted my sisters low key hen do this afternoon in their secret garden room. We had a lovely afternoon. The food was amazing and the staff were lovely. The secret garden room is gorgeous and so nicely decorated. Organising the event over the phone was so easy with the chef and so reasonabley priced for the quality of food you get. Couldn't recommend more!

Advisable to book. Closes at 4.30 so no evening dining. Huge specials board. Food first class. Service friendly and really good. Will return regularly.

You'd be forgiven for forgetting you're in a garden center when you eat here. Best to book for busy times and don't expect your food to arrive immediately, that's not a bad thing, this is real home made food made with love. Always a good experience here and those lamb shanks were awesome today.

This place so good ,vegan friendly breakfast option, nice coffee and also request pancake for my little one with strawberry and chocolate no issue. Lovely staff all nice polite and friendly make the place very welcome.

I am a huge foodie and it's fairly difficult to impress me but the breakfast at Brown's in impressive. Really great produce, beautifully booked, friendly staff. We will be back for sure.

Collected an afternoon tea box today which my fiance ordered for my birthday. Was excellent! More than enough for two people and I've eaten so much I'm sick from over indulging! Good enough to hold on to our box even though we couldn't be there on time.

Enjoyed a Mother’s Day Brunch box, as usual the quality was excellent - it was the attention to detail that made it special.... yumm
