The best restaurants serving Default food in West Monkton Taunton Deane South West

4 of us stopped lunch. Really was very good. I had their Turkish eggs, which were so good I got up half way through to ask what herbs and spices they had made it with. Would fully recommend.

Very good restaurant, it’s a perfect place to taste good food

Very Disappointed Absolutely nothing impressive here. Despite the claim of offering a wide variety, around 80% of the food is Indian cuisine. The assortment of Japanese, Thai, and grilled items is extremely poor. The "grill" section is just chicken—nothing else. I expected much more variety and quality. Definitely not worth the hype.

I am really happy with this restaurant. Atmosphere is relaxing, its decorated well and food looks and tastes as youd imagine a top restaurant should have its food. Workers are nice, I recomend this place to everyone looking to get quality food.

Booked a table in advanced on arrival the restaurant was packed had to stand around and wait for half an hour. Then got out on a table that was ment for two people but there was three of us . Some of the food looked like it had been there for a while for example some of the sauces looked congealed . Felt like the was more interest in getting the tables filled forgetting people that had booked as there was a few people waiting for their tables that was booked no apology won’t be going back

£4.85 for a bland caramel latte I stood there like a lemon for atleast 5 minutes before being served (no one else in the cue)

Easy access off M5. Lovely service from Lily our waitress. Food portions more than generous and good quality for casual lunch

The place has changed name, now Somerset Masala (or so ething like that), same staff, but not as good as our last visit, which was a shame. Fodd was OK, but far too much sauce with the dishes. I appreciate its about saving money/value for money, but just a bit disappointed.

This is our stop off when we visit Cornwall, we always look forward to it .The quiche was delicious .

Nice location but service was slow , and food was cold and unappetising. Coffee was luke warm . They are aiming at quantity rather than quality. Manageress was very apologetic.

Dirty and untidy. Toilets disgraceful

Yes it’s run down, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be cleaned and tidied. It’s just dirty!! Toilets almost all dirty or out of order. Floor soaking wet all around the sinks. Bins overflowing in toilets and in McDonald’s area. The napkin/sauce point was filthy and half empty. In the seating area the chairs were all over the place, dirty tables and the floor was unswept (rubbish and food on it). Don’t bother stopping here!
